Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

Seeing her assistant’s impatient expression, Zhao Rong opened the package and took out the Beauty Tracker.

When the assistant saw Zhao Rong pull out a white device that resembled a car’s power inverter, she asked in surprise, ”Brother Zhao Rong, are you sure this white gadget you bought is the so-called Beauty Tracker and not a power inverter?”

As Zhao Rong removed the Beauty Tracker from its packaging, he replied confidently, ”Assistant, don’t be fooled by its appearance. It might look like a power inverter, but this is the Divine Artifact—the Beauty Tracker. As long as you turn this on, we’ll be able to track every beautiful woman within a hundred-mile radius...”

Hearing this, the assistant’s interest was immediately piqued. With a sly grin, she said, ”Brother Zhao Rong, does that mean as soon as we activate this machine, we can find all the beauties within a hundred miles? Not just Miss Lili, Lady Yu Lan, and Lady Xuelian?”

Zhao Rong nodded while connecting the Beauty Tracker to a power bank. ”Of course,” he answered. ”It can definitely track every beautiful woman within a hundred miles.”

The assistant’s mind filled with fantasies of all the beautiful women in the great canyon. She then said to Zhao Rong, ”Brother Zhao Rong, in that case, let’s not look for Miss Lili, Lady Yu Lan, and Lady Xuelian just yet. Let’s start by tracking down the other stunning women in this canyon and have a little fun with some of the easy ones. What do you think?”

Hearing her assistant’s shameless words, Zhao Rong immediately rebuked her. ”Assistant, you pervert! You’ve got some serious nerve! We just escaped the Murder Storm, so the first thing we need to do is find our companions—Miss Lili, Lady Yu Lan, and Lady Xuelian. What if they’re in danger? In our team, we can’t afford to lose a single person.”

Scolded by Zhao Rong, the assistant lowered her head in embarrassment and muttered, ”But, Brother Zhao Rong, even if we’re only looking for Miss Lili, Lady Yu Lan, and Lady Xuelian... this Beauty Tracker will still detect other women... What if it finds too many at once? How are we supposed to tell which ones are our teammates and which ones are strangers?”

Hearing the assistant’s concern, Zhao Rong reassured her, ”Listen to me. This canyon is a godforsaken place in the middle of nowhere. We’ll be lucky if the Beauty Tracker finds three women, let alone any others. You’ve got food in your bowl and you’re already staring at the pot. You’re too greedy.”

With that, Zhao Rong turned on the Beauty Tracker, which looked exactly like a car’s power inverter. As soon as he activated it, the device began to scan the air like radar, searching for all beautiful women within a hundred-mile radius.

When the assistant saw the device in Zhao Rong’s hand operating like radar, she said excitedly, ”Brother Zhao Rong, at first I thought the Beauty Tracker you bought was just a power inverter. But now, I think it must be military-grade radar! Why else would it be making a beeping sound and rotating in the air to search for things?”

Before the assistant could finish, Zhao Rong pointed to three red dots that had appeared on the device’s screen. ”Assistant, look! I used the Beauty Tracker to search for beauties within a hundred miles... and sure enough, it only found three. And these three are our teammates: Miss Lili, Lady Yu Lan, and Lady Xuelian.”

When the assistant heard that the three red dots on the screen represented their missing friends, she said excitedly, ”Wow, that’s fantastic! Finding them and protecting them is our duty as men! Brother Zhao Rong, let’s move now! Let’s find the three of them and complete the mission together!”

After a moment, the assistant asked curiously, ”By the way, Brother Zhao Rong, even if we’ve found them with this Beauty Tracker, how are we going to get there? Are we going to ride a drone over like that old turtle did?”

Seeing the assistant’s confused expression, Zhao Rong smiled and pointed to the Beauty Tracker. He placed it on the ground between them and began to chant an incantation. ”Riding a drone is too much trouble,” he said. ”Let’s use Instant Teleportation instead.”

Hearing the words ”Instant Teleportation,” the assistant immediately remembered Zhao Rong’s unique Special Ability. So, she asked, ”Brother Zhao Rong, are you going to use your Special Ability to teleport to them?”

Zhao Rong shook his head and gestured at the sand-filled air around them. ”Instant Teleportation isn’t something you can use whenever you want; it depends on the weather. If the sky is clear and cloudless, it works wonderfully. But look around now. There’s a sandstorm, and the air is thick with haze. In terrible weather like this, using my ability is extremely difficult. That’s why I’m using this Divine Artifact. After I chant the incantation, the Beauty Tracker will help us teleport instantly to the location of these three red dots.”

As he spoke, Zhao Rong began to chant, ”Prajna-paramita...”

When the assistant heard the incantation, she couldn’t help but think of the movie *A Chinese Odyssey*, where Stephen Chow and Wu Mengda chanted the exact same phrase.

But before she could finish the thought, she and Zhao Rong instantly teleported, reappearing a short distance behind the three women.

However, what they saw was completely unexpected. The three women were tied together with a rope, held captive by the middle-aged man. He was mocking them.

”My dear ladies, didn’t I tell you? The reason your precious Brother Zhao Rong and his assistant got swept into the Murder Storm was because I used a little trick to lure you all into this canyon. Then I arranged for them to be trapped inside it.

”So, you three can stop thinking about them. I’m sure they’re already dead in that storm. Even if they aren’t, they’ll be trapped in there forever, unable to escape.

”Now, you just need to stop thinking altogether and quietly follow me to see our bosses, Hong Ju and Zhou Xiaoer. Who knows, if our bosses are in a good mood, they might let you three live. They might even toss you a bowl of food for your trouble...”

As he spoke, the middle-aged man let out a burst of arrogant laughter and prepared to hoist the three bound women onto camels to take them away.
