Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

When the three women saw that the assistant had craftily chosen a camel with six humps, they widened their eyes and shot him disdainful looks.

Lili looked down on him and said, ”Assistant, you’re so shameless! We hadn’t even started picking our camels yet, and you already snatched the one with the most humps. How cunning...”

Yu Lan also scorned him, saying, ”Assistant, you’re not a real man. When we were choosing camels, Zhao Rong deliberately left the strong, tall camels with more humps for us to ride. And you, a man, have no respect for your elders and no consideration for us ladies, picking the strongest camel for yourself. A man like you doesn’t deserve a woman. You’re bound to live a life without intimacy.”

Xuelian scrutinized the assistant and the camel he was riding. Then, she speculated aloud, ”Assistant, although the camel you chose is the tallest and strongest, that doesn’t necessarily mean it can run fast.”

Hearing Xuelian’s words, the assistant immediately scoffed, ”Who says my camel can’t run fast? Just watch! With one crack of the whip, this camel will be faster than a Ferrari!”

With that, he whipped the six-humped camel he was riding.

Just then, the sandstorm behind Zhao Rong’s group began to pick up speed, closing in on them. When Zhao Rong saw the storm getting nearer, he immediately drew his whip, struck his camel, and shouted to the others, ”Everyone, speed up! Ride forward now! Otherwise, we’ll be swallowed by this sandstorm and lose our lives!”

Saying this, Zhao Rong fiercely whipped his two-humped camel. The moment the whip struck, the animal bolted, its speed suddenly surpassing that of a prized stallion.

When the three women saw Zhao Rong racing away on his desert camel, they quickly pulled whips from their bags and spurred their own mounts. Once whipped, their camels also broke into a furious sprint. Although they weren’t as fast as Zhao Rong’s, they were still able to stay ahead of the encroaching sandstorm.

The middle-aged man also took out his whip and struck his single-humped camel. To everyone’s surprise, his mount—the smallest and skinniest of them all—ran the fastest, its speed truly comparable to a Ferrari.

When the assistant saw this, he said in disbelief, ”What the hell? No way. How can camels with fewer humps run faster? That doesn’t make any sense! Logically, a camel with more humps should be faster since it’s stronger and stores more energy, right?”

He viciously whipped his own six-humped camel. Damn it, don’t tell me the one I chose—the tallest and strongest one with six humps—is actually the slowest!

But to his dismay, the camel he had chosen, the tallest and strongest of the lot, was not only the slowest but also kept starting and stopping. It clearly couldn’t run properly.

Having already raced ahead, the three women looked back and saw the assistant’s camel struggling at the rear, panting heavily. They immediately began to taunt him.

Lili, while whipping her own three-humped camel, turned and yelled back, ”Assistant! Didn’t you say your camel was the tallest with the most humps? That it would be the fastest and would easily leave us in the dust and humiliate us? So why are you the one being humiliated now?”

On the verge of tears, the assistant replied, ”Damn it, who knew the strongest, tallest camel with the most humps couldn’t even run? This is completely unexpected! If I had known that being bigger and stronger meant it couldn’t run, I definitely would have chosen the middle-aged man’s single-humped camel!”

Yu Lan, whose camel was also running swiftly ahead, shouted mockingly, ”Assistant, if you’ve got the guts, then catch up to us on your six-humped camel and laugh at us! But look at you now, why have you lost your nerve? Not only are you quiet, but you look so pathetic. Are you upset because your camel is too slow?” As she spoke, she burst into laughter.

Xuelian was even more sarcastic. ”Assistant, don’t panic, don’t you worry,” she said. ”If you get swallowed and buried alive by the sandstorm, we’ll buy a tombstone, set it up right here, burn some incense for you, and bring a bottle of wine to visit your grave every year.”

Hearing their mockery, the assistant finally broke down and cried. Wiping his tears, he looked back at the sandstorm that was about to engulf him and pleaded with Zhao Rong, ”Zhao Rong! Please, save me! If you don’t help me, I’ll be swallowed by this murderous sandstorm and die without a proper burial!”

Hearing the assistant’s desperate cries, Zhao Rong suddenly realized that the once cocky and arrogant man had fallen to the very back. It looked like he was about to be swallowed by the terrifyingly deadly sandstorm in the valley. He decided to rescue him.

Riding his swift camel, Zhao Rong suddenly shouted, ”WHOA!”

As Zhao Rong brought his camel to a halt, the three women exclaimed in fear, ”Zhao Rong, why are you stopping? Don’t you want to live anymore?”

However, to their astonishment, Zhao Rong not only stopped but also turned his camel around and charged back toward the sandstorm.

As he rode toward the storm, he shouted to the assistant, ”Assistant, don’t be afraid, and stop crying! I’m coming to save you on my two-humped camel! Just hop on, and we’ll ride out together. That way, you won’t be swallowed by the murderous sandstorm!”
