Super Tycoon: I Beg You, Stop Pulling Stunts

Chapter 534: Chapter 317: Grandson, Are You Trying to Be the Godfather?

Lin Chu said casually.

He was more or less aware of the situation.

”Tsk.”

”Did you have some beef with them before?”

Wang Zhefei asked curiously.

”No. I bought a piece of porcelain that came from them. It was supposedly some kind of entry ticket, and I got noticed. It just fell into my lap... I don’t know if it’s an opportunity or a danger, but I’m quite curious.”

”It’s a strange feeling. Remember back in college, when we’d talk late into the night after the lights were out? We’d chat about all sorts of random stuff, whether it was international affairs, conspiracy theories, or gossip about big shots... I’m curious, really curious, what this circle is really like.”

”But I guess you could say it’s a shortcut to the top. I haven’t even made contact with the circles back home, and now I’m already in touch with one abroad.”

”That’s why I have to go.”

Lin Chu explained.

By now, there were many things he no longer needed to explain, not even the most fundamental question of ”where the money came from.”

But for his best friend, he felt he should explain the situation. Wang Zhefei was important enough to deserve an explanation, and he felt it was necessary to give one.

The fact that he came was equivalent to entrusting his life to him.

Wang Zhefei: ...

He took another deep breath.

”Fuck!”

”Fucking awesome!”

”I bet the initiation ceremony is offering up your ass, just like in those scandals that have been coming out lately...”

He couldn’t help but jab at him with a grin.

Lin Chu: ...shot him the middle finger.

Just then, something happened in the Crazy Horse Show Club building across the way. In an instant, the lights went completely dark.

They quickly came back on, likely having switched to a backup power source.

However...

BANG!

The outermost lightbox exploded a second later. The entire building seemed to be short-circuiting as faint blue electrical arcs flickered.

The soundproofing was too good to hear anything from inside, but the security guards at the entrance were now rushing in.

Lin Chu watched with a deadpan expression.

Within seconds, thick white smoke began to pour from the building’s crevices, enveloping the entire structure.

The inside became like a giant black box with an unstable power supply, the lights flickering erratically between bright and dark.

In the distance, a truck came speeding toward them. It reached the club’s entrance, where the driver brazenly drifted into a sharp U-turn, positioning the rear of the truck to face the main doors.

The truck bed tilted up.

From under the tarp, a massive amount of filth—a yellow and white substance—poured out like a flood, cascading down in front of the club’s entrance.

”Holy shit!”

Wang Zhefei couldn’t help but cry out at the sight.

What kind of disgusting tactic was this?

This is too fucking disgusting, isn’t it?

What kind of grudge do you have to have?

”Did you come up with this?”

He looked at Lin Chu, finding it hard to stomach.

Lin Chu’s sharp Adam’s apple bobbed. For a moment, he was a bit stunned himself, shaking his head with an innocent look in his eyes.

”No, it definitely wasn’t me.”

”I’m not that crude...”

”One of my guys handled it.”

Gao Haitao: ...

’This Tang Qiang... he’s really got a way with things. Brilliant! Absolutely brilliant!’

’What’s the difference between this and taking a shit in the middle of the street?’

At that moment, people started running out. A well-dressed man stepped right into the mess and let out a piercing scream. Someone behind him gave him a push, and he instantly face-planted, falling to the ground.

”BLEGH...”

”I can’t fucking watch anymore! You’re seriously disgusting!”

Wang Zhefei turned his head away, at a loss for words.

What kind of twisted sense of humor is this!

Lin Chu shrugged, looking both helpless and amused. ”I didn’t expect this either.”

”Alright, let’s close the curtains. Shall we... continue eating?”

”A true warrior must dare to face a bleak life...”

’Qiangzi is a real piece of work.’

’This move... it’s fucking genius.’

’No, I told you to ruin the Crazy Horse Show’s reputation!’

’I didn’t tell you to literally ’make it stink’!’

’Talk about taking things to the next level, huh?’

’Ruin its reputation in the most physical sense.’

’But, to be fair, this move is definitely going to be very effective.’

’From now on, this long-standing club is probably completely finished. After something like this, what top-tier billionaire would ever come back?’

’The damage isn’t huge, but the disgust factor is maxed out.’

Gao Haitao closed the curtains but stood behind them, continuing to watch.

He saw a crowd madly rushing out and scattering in all directions. As the smoke spread, several people dressed as security guards and dancers also ran out. They all wore balaclavas that only showed their eyes, piled into two cars, and sped away.

Suddenly, countless colorful flyers rained down from the night sky.

It was like confetti from an exploding firework.

”Brother Chu, they’re scattering a lot of flyers in the street. Want me to go grab one and see?”

Gao Haitao asked with a curious smile.

”Hmm?”

Lin Chu glanced through a gap in the curtains and waved a hand. ”Go ahead. Find a clean one. Shit, they take a dump and then offer toilet paper, is that it?”

Gao Haitao: ...

「A moment later.」

He managed to pick up a clean one and returned to the room.

On it were large words written in English.

—OPERATION: EXECUTE THE CRAZY HORSE!

—STOP OBJECTIFYING WOMEN!

—THIS EVIL CLUB MUST BE PUNISHED!

—FORGIVING YOU IS GOD’S JOB. MY JOB IS TO ARRANGE THE MEETING!

—THE SA ORGANIZATION, RIGHTEOUS AND BEAUTIFUL, CLAIMS FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS ACT!

—FUCK THE CRAZY HORSE SHOW, FUCK LOUIS VUITTON!

Lin Chu read through all the slogans and couldn’t help but shake his head and smile.

’Unbelievable.’

’Qiangzi really understood the spirit of my instructions perfectly.’

Wang Zhefei looked at Lin Chu again, lit a cigarette, and exhaled a long plume of smoke. He squeezed two words through his teeth: ”Fucking. Awesome.”

Building a brand might be difficult.

But destroying one? That’s far too easy.

”Shit, I just remembered something.”

Wang Zhefei’s eyes widened as he spoke, annoyed.

”Hm? What is it?”

”You didn’t even take me to see it? And now it’s just fucking gone? Does this mean I’ll never get to see it?”

He felt hurt, as if he’d missed the last-ever show.

Lin Chu couldn’t help but laugh. ”Hey, I checked it out for you. Nothing much to see, and it’s not your style anyway. Everyone knows my Brother Fei is a pure and innocent young man... that stuff isn’t for you.”

Wang Zhefei: ...

He shot him a big middle finger.

”Screw you!”

...

Tonight.

For many, it was a sleepless night.

But Lin Chu slept soundly.

He had a dreamless night.

The hotel’s soundproofing was excellent. No matter what happened outside, nothing could be heard inside.

When he woke up early the next morning, Lin Chu first checked his phone and was immediately greeted by a flood of news.

This was, without a doubt, a major incident.

The entire internet was blowing up over it.

”Crazy Horse Show Doused in Feces!”

”Venerable Club Faces Catastrophe!”

”No Casualties! But 12 George V Avenue Reports Feeling Very Hurt!”

”The Fall of the Crazy Horse Show!”

There were news reports and short videos one after another...

Lin Chu lay in bed, scrolling through the drama for a good while.

The traditional media outlets were relatively more serious, offering various in-depth analyses of the event, but their wording wasn’t particularly strong. They mostly treated it as entertainment news.

These kinds of extreme incidents weren’t unheard of. Some media outlets mentioned the vandals who defaced the Mona Lisa. Others brought up the farmers who had once used an excavator to dump manure in front of a landmark to protest for better welfare benefits...

Now, this incident was being treated as a similar act by most of the media.

Online, however, opinions were mixed.

Just like the reputation of the ”Crazy Horse Show” itself, which was also a mixed bag.

Legally speaking, the business was perfectly fine in that locality, but in the court of public opinion, its reputation wasn’t so great.

After all, this kind of upper-class consumption was more of a symbol to ordinary people. It had no real impact on their lives, so they were just enjoying the show. The more chaotic, the better.

’Seems like... there are no serious consequences?’

’Instead, everyone’s cheering?’

’What the hell?’

Lin Chu was a little baffled for a moment.

’Was I not aggressive enough?’

’What kind of dire straits are these people living in?’

...
