Super Tycoon: I Beg You, Stop Pulling Stunts

Chapter 502: Chapter 302: Don’t Forget Each Other When Rich, I Remember My Promise

In less than half an hour, all nine pieces of blue-and-white porcelain had been given away.

Although the scene and atmosphere felt a little strange, it all passed amidst the laughter and banter.

What more could they ask for?

It even felt like lining up at the boss’s office to get red envelopes during Chinese New Year.

Having known Lin Chu for so long and taken advantage of his generosity so many times, they knew his personality crystal clear.

The group guessed that Brother Chu was probably up to some strange prank again.

They might as well indulge him.

It was no big deal.

He was their sugar daddy, after all!

Although the bros weren’t the same as before and were all doing pretty well for themselves, who did they have to thank for that?

Back when they were trading stocks, Lin Chu had given each of them ten million!

Hu Ping’an watched the scene unfold, understanding everything perfectly, but of course, he wouldn’t say a word.

’Just get it done!’

Everything he had now was because of Lin Chu. So what if he had to call him ”dad”?

’A man has to know how to be grateful!’

Though he was also complaining internally, ’Brother Chu is seriously superstitious, way too superstitious, to actually believe in this stuff. Maybe he’s developed a path dependency.’

But as long as it really made money, it was no big deal.

”Alright, they’re all given out. That’s that.”

”Oh, right, one last thing. This is the most I can do for you guys: fifty million in cash for each of you. I’ll have the company’s finance department wire it to you now. The company will cover the taxes.”

”Damn it, every single one of you, live a good life! No gambling and no drugs! If anyone touches that stuff, I’ll break their legs! I mean it!”

Lin Chu was committing to the act, truly putting on a ”life-and-death farewell” performance. He immediately took out his phone and messaged the company’s finance department.

Fifty million each. If they weren’t too reckless, it would be enough to last a lifetime.

Naturally, there was no rebate for giving away cash.

But if there wasn’t, there wasn’t.

For this ”shady deal,” the 2.2 billion cost had been fully rebated tenfold. Thanks to Wang Zhefei and Liu Junfeng taking the lead, after the rebate, he had netted 22 billion. Taking out five hundred million to give to his bros as a bonus was perfectly reasonable; it was what he should do.

Lin Chu hadn’t expected them to be so cooperative just now, with every single one of them calling him ”daddy.”

It made even him feel a tiny bit awkward.

In truth, Lin Chu knew it wasn’t a big deal, but the upbringing he’d received from a young age was quite ”heavy,” not so frivolous.

But now that he’d completed the major move to get his rebate, he didn’t dwell on it.

”The fuck?”

Wang Zhefei was suddenly stunned. It wasn’t about the money, or even how much money it was. It was about the meaning behind Lin Chu’s current posture—what the hell... was he planning?

Was he really acting like he was delivering his last words and settling his affairs?

The others couldn’t hold it together either.

They all started talking at once, asking what on earth was going on.

Lin Chu just waved his hand and smiled, ”We’re friends, and we had a saying: ’If you get rich, don’t forget your friends.’ Now, I haven’t forgotten!”

’Tsk, he was even moved by his own words.’

’But it was all good. Nothing wrong with it.’

The panel was his, and his bros had also received tangible benefits.

The others watched him, unable to tell if he was being genuine or not. But since he wasn’t talking, they didn’t press the issue.

In their hearts, each of them was filled with indescribable thoughts.

...

After wiring the money and distributing it, Lin Chu headed out first. He told them to catch up on sleep since they’d been on a plane all night. They needed to rest up for the yacht party that evening.

He had other things to do today.

Bian Gaige, that old gentleman, was scheduled to arrive around two in the afternoon.

He also wanted to take this opportunity to follow up on buying a piece of land, which he had discussed with the Little Prince last night.

He dialed Rashid’s number, set up a meeting place, and drove straight there.

...

Inside the room at the Burj Al Arab Hotel, after Lin Chu left, the eight men looked at each other, speechless.

Liu Junfeng heard his phone chime with a DING and glanced at it. It was a text message.

From his bank.

His ICBC account had received a deposit of fifty million, with the note: year-end bonus.

”Holy crap! The money’s here!”

”The company really sent me fifty million!”

He opened his banking app and checked it again, licking his lips, his eyes filled with uncontrollable shock and joy.

He’d never been this rich in his life!

Zhang Peng glanced at his phone and scratched his head. ”Mine came through too.”

He wasn’t as happy, though. In fact, Zhang Peng was starting to feel a little anxious.

He had seen this kind of money in his life—his monthly salary was in the hundreds of thousands—but he’d never seen such a huge lump sum at once.

’Is this a joke?’

’Brother Chu, what the hell is going on?’

’This definitely isn’t as simple as it looks!’

”Did something really happen to him? No, wait, I’m not at the company, but you guys don’t know either? Shit!”

Wang Zhefei asked irritably. He hadn’t seen the text yet, but that wasn’t important. He looked at the guys in front of him. They were supposed to be Lin Chu’s best friends, yet they were completely clueless about what was happening to him.

It made Wang Zhefei feel that Lin Chu had chosen his friends poorly. This bunch, acting like a pack of idiots... were they really all just fair-weather friends?

’Although... uh... maybe, perhaps... I’m one of them too?’

’After all, besides eating, drinking, chasing girls, and having fun, what else did we ever do?’

Hearing Wang Zhefei’s words, the others looked at each other, unable to refute him.

CLAP! CLAP!

Just then, Hu Ping’an clapped his hands, drawing everyone’s attention to him.

”Hey, everyone, stop arguing. About this... I actually know a little something, but I can’t say what. It’s fine, though. Since Brother Chu is giving us money, just take it.”
