Super Tycoon: I Beg You, Stop Pulling Stunts

Chapter 504: Chapter 303: A High-Roller from Brother Long

Lin Chu really hadn’t expected his Intimacy with the Little Prince to surpass 90 so quickly.

There’s a saying about the four ”unbreakable bonds” in a man’s life:

going to school together, fighting in a war together, splitting loot together, and visiting a brothel together.

But at the very most, he and the prince only met one of those criteria.

’Still, it’s understandable. A kid who grew up in this kind of environment must see the world as a pink, fantastical bubble. He’s never been beaten down by the real world, so it’s only natural he’d be quick to trust people.’

With that thought, Lin Chu came to terms with it.

’Sometimes, I’m actually quite envious of the lives these princes lead. Carefree, wanting for nothing... and they’ve had it all since birth.’

’Their starting line is just too high.’

’Of course, my own ceiling is far higher than theirs. After all, with this cheat system in hand, the world is my oyster.’

’When I have a son someday, his upbringing will definitely be on par with a prince’s.’

’As for myself...’

’My life’s goal was set long ago, and it’s definitely not just about money.’

’It also includes all those other things I listed before.’

—I want a life that blooms with passion!

A life that never stops pushing boundaries!

...

For the next two days, Lin Chu went into full-power mode.

He brought his friends along and assigned each of them a specific task.

Lu Ming, Liu Junfeng, Li Kai, and Wang Zhefei formed one team. Their job was to attend other auctions in Dubai and hunt down valuable goods worth over fifty million USD.

Antiques, jewelry—it didn’t matter. As long as it was suitable for a gift, they were to acquire it all.

Hu Ping’an and Gao Haitao formed another team. They were responsible for summoning personnel from China, handling the company’s registration here, and beginning to sort out and coordinate the various procedures for the project on the plot of land.

Zhu Yixian and Zhang Peng worked with Lin Chu himself to start on public relations: inviting various princes and key officials to dinners and giving them gifts.

This was both a way to farm money and to maintain relationships.

’In this environment, there was practically no risk in giving gifts. The country belonged to their family, after all. Besides, I’m just making friends. What risk could there be?’

A masterpiece from the De Stijl artist from the Netherlands, Piet Mondrian, titled *Composition No. 2*, was acquired at yesterday’s auction for 51 million US Dollars.

The very day he got it, Lin Chu turned around and gifted it to Sayed.

Double rebate.

Although he only earned fifty million US Dollars, it was still a small profit, bringing him one step closer to his goal.

Through the channels of the Habsburg Auction House, Lin Chu also bought three incredibly expensive collector’s items.

As one of the world’s top-ranked auction houses, they naturally had reserve inventory and clients looking to sell.

Since Lin Chu was a VIP client from the last auction and was now looking to buy, they were more than happy to oblige.

There was no need for an auction. They arranged a private deal, with the auction house acting as the intermediary.

A masterpiece by the Swiss sculptor Alberto, the sculpture *Two-Wheeled War Chariot*, was sold in a private internal transaction without going to auction for a price of 140 million US Dollars.

In a heartbeat, Lin Chu gifted it to the most powerful figure within the Rashid family, Crown Prince Hamdan.

He was the biggest shot among the younger generation. Although he wasn’t that young anymore, he was still a prince and had to bide his time until he became head of state.

An abstract painting by Barnett Newman, *Black Flame*, was acquired for 90 million US Dollars through the same internal channels and gifted to another Crown Prince, Shekha.

He was a heavyweight in the sovereign wealth fund, just over forty years old, and had a great fondness for abstract art.

Gifting him this painting was a way of catering to his specific tastes.

A silkscreen print of Marilyn Monroe, *Blue Marilyn*, was acquired for 190 million US Dollars and specially gifted to Rashid as a testament to their friendship.

Naturally, there was no ten-fold rebate. After all, given Rashid’s status, it would be pretty hard to get him to call Lin Chu ”daddy.”

But even so, a double rebate wasn’t bad, especially given the high price.

Rashid... was flustered, his mind completely blown.

He knew Lin Chu was rich, but he never imagined he was *this* rich, or *this* generous.

This gift was far more expensive than any of the ones given to the others. He was moved to the point of tears.

And...

Besides these key figures in the royal family, the bigwigs in every other department were also ”taken care of” by Lin Chu.

In a word: Give!

Whether they were big bosses or small-time officials, he gave gifts to them all. Money paved the way, making him unstoppable!

Soon, a piece of news began to circulate through Dubai’s high-society circles: a super-tycoon from China had recently been attending many parties, and the gifts he was handing out were all priceless treasures.

In just a few short days, Lin Chu had become just about the most sought-after figure in all of Dubai.

What?

You haven’t heard of him?

Then that just means... you’re not in a high enough social circle.

Regarding everything he was doing now, Lin Chu truly felt like he was pulling himself up by his own bootstraps. He’d buy something with one hand and gift it with the other, simultaneously farming reputation, expanding his social network, and raking in cash.

He had actually already farmed the four billion USD he needed. After these few days of high-intensity gift-giving, his current balance had reached 4.3 billion US Dollars.

He didn’t even need to take out a loan from the sovereign wealth fund; he could buy the land outright with cash.

But, after a moment’s thought, Lin Chu decided he would take the loan anyway. ℯℯ𝘭.

’The interest rate doesn’t matter.’

’What’s that saying again?’

’If you owe the bank ten thousand, the bank is your boss.’

’If you owe the bank a hundred million, you’re the bank’s boss!’

By using his visible assets as collateral, plus pulling some strings through his various connections, the sovereign wealth fund, using the National Bank of Dubai as a channel, granted him a total credit line of three billion US Dollars.
