Super Tycoon: I Beg You, Stop Pulling Stunts

Chapter 304: Chapter 223: Taking Stock of Assets

”For today’s class, I want you all to think carefully about this problem. To aid your thought process, I’ve created a nine-dimensional model to help with your analysis.”

Gong Xueqin spoke eloquently, then turned on the projector and displayed a mind map.

His words were quite moving.

After all, most of the people attending this class were looking to improve themselves or had hit a temporary bottleneck in their careers.

Lin Chu glanced at the professor’s material and was suddenly struck by how similar it was to the direction he had been considering last night!

’Oh?’

’This... what a coincidence.’

He couldn’t help but give himself another mental thumbs-up.

’Even though I’m just winging it, my own practical experience lines up with the old professor’s theory. Maybe... maybe I really am a genius?’

After a careful comparison, Lin Chu felt even more certain that the strategy he’d devised was excellent and not at all lacking.

Time in the classroom flew by as everyone was lost in thought.

This kind of thinking, while difficult, could solve many problems from a high-level, strategic perspective.

Gong Xueqin also selected a few students who had volunteered and used them as case studies for the class.

As the class was about to end, Chen Yuanxing showed Lin Chu a message on his phone.

It was from Chen Sheng.

”The people who visited the lab this morning were leaders from Peng City, leaders from National Investment, President Ma from Tencent, Li Bin from NIO, and a vice president from DJI. They mainly discussed three points.”

”First, the city’s industrial investment fund plans to add another one billion yuan to jointly promote the development of the low-altitude aircraft industry.”

”Second, NIO is going to donate one hundred million yuan to Peking University for a top student scholarship fund.”

”Third, regarding technology licensing, they’re planning to use a patent fee model, which everyone agreed on. National Investment is preparing to establish a dedicated company to manage this business.”

”My professor had a younger female classmate tell me this. He also said the specific details are still under negotiation, so we’ll have to wait and see.”

Reading this message, Chen Yuanxing’s brow was now furrowed tightly.

He felt a sense of helplessness.

’Goddammit, these guys are too powerful.’

If things continue this way, the best-case scenario for us is getting the technology license, and we’ll still have to pay patent fees.

Lin Chu saw the message, then looked at Chen Yuanxing and patted his shoulder with a smile.

”Don’t be so anxious. What’s there to worry about? Let’s just wait and see.”

”They haven’t completely shut you out.”

Lin Chu’s tone was relaxed.

Although he also felt that things wouldn’t be so smooth anymore, he wasn’t flustered.

’This project isn’t my ”main quest,” after all. It’s just a sub-project under the high-tech section of my six major business segments.’

Once he reminded himself of that, his strong feelings about winning or losing faded, and his mindset became calm and stable.

When you don’t put all your eggs in one basket, you can speak with confidence.

Chen Yuanxing glanced at him and sighed softly. ”I guess we can only wait and see. Hopefully, even if we can’t get the meat, we can at least have some of the broth. Being an entrepreneur is really tough.”

Seeing his expression, Lin Chu thought for a moment and decided to give him a more detailed analysis.

”Have Xiaosheng come back right away. I’ll transfer the land deed to him. Over at the experimental site, speed up the construction. We need to get this done first.”

”Trying to snatch meat from the mouths of giants is no simple matter, but there’s still a chance. Even if they operate with patent fees, it’s just a matter of spending more money. It won’t affect the production of the final product.”

”Su Chaoyue might not be able to change the overall trend, but he definitely has a big say in who specifically gets the license. Isn’t your nephew part of the core technical team?”

”And taking a huge step back, are you really planning to swallow a multi-trillion-yuan market all by yourself? Aren’t you afraid you’ll choke?”

Lin Chu’s thinking was very clear, and his mind was very calm.

Chen Yuanxing stared at him for a few seconds, a flicker of relief gradually appearing in his eyes.

He laughed. ”Why do I feel like I’m talking to my old chairman? Are you really only 24?”

The sense of déjà vu was incredibly strong.

When faced with a problem, there was no internal friction, almost no emotion—just an immediate focus on solutions and remedies.

Lin Chu laughed heartily. ”That’s some nice flattery. I like it. Please, keep it up.”

Chen Yuanxing: ...

’Tsk.’

’President Lin is being flippant again.’

’Now he sounds like a young man.’

But of course, there was absolutely nothing wrong with what Lin Chu had just said. It was a real shot in the arm for him.
