Sister Nan's Combat Strength is Unknown, But It's Probably Only a Tiny Bit Stronger

141: Which part of this kid is she thinking of removing first? The group, hearing there was food, instantly all looked at Si Nan. They had been fleeing for two days and one night, and their last bit of water and dry food had been consumed. They hadn’t eaten for a day and a night, and their stomachs were rumbling.

Luo Sen looked at everyone opposite him, his eyes growing colder, unable to control his killing intent. He detested these survivors; each one looked at him and Nan Nan with ill intentions. He couldn’t wait to kill them all!

Si Nan only knew that he was very upset. She was also upset, but for now, she had to endure it to avoid exposure and for the helicopter that was about to arrive. She quietly squeezed Luo Sen’s hand, signaling him to calm down.

But she didn’t speak immediately; she was waiting.

The large backpack on her back was just a cover; otherwise, going out to search for supplies with nothing would arouse suspicion. It did contain some food, but it was just snacks she had casually prepared for Luo Sen.

The Captain suddenly stopped the Yellow-Haired Kid, “You kid, behave yourself. Whether others have food or not is their business. Everyone is exhausted after fleeing for two days and one night. Rest for a while, and we’ll go look for food later. This factory is huge; there must be food.”

The Yellow-Haired Kid was displeased upon hearing this, “Captain, what’s the rush? We’re all in this together now; mutual help is a given. Besides, her backpack is so big and bulging; it must contain a lot of good food. Just share some with us, and when you go out to find food later, just find more to give back to her. It’s the same thing.”

He spoke as if it were only natural. Even if they had to go out to find food, it should be the soldiers who went, and they, the survivors, should just sit and wait to be served.

Furthermore, he implied that Si Nan taking out her food was also a matter of course, because survivors should help each other, so her food should be shared with everyone.

Hmph!

Si Nan smiled chillingly at the Yellow-Haired Kid, wondering which part of him she should dismember first.

Luo Sen was even cooler; a trace of power shot into the Yellow-Haired Kid’s backside, making him jump up. “Ah, what stung my butt?”

He stood up and searched around but found nothing, yet his butt was bleeding, making him wail in pain. But no one paid him any mind; they all thought he was just being dramatic and causing trouble.

After the Yellow-Haired Kid’s commotion, all the camouflage-clad soldiers looked displeased. These were the people they risked their lives to save, yet in the eyes of these survivors, they were just expendable sacrifices who could be sacrificed at any time, not even regarded as living beings.

Worthless!

The Captain also got angry, “Stop yelling, or you’ll attract all the zombies. I said no, and that’s final. Our duty is to save people; you are survivors, and so are they.

We save lives, not find food for you. If anyone is starving, they can go find it themselves. But if anyone dares to force others to hand over food, don’t blame me for being impolite.”

With his outburst, no one dared to harbor any more schemes. Along the way, they had already witnessed this Captain’s skill and decisive actions.

Originally, their group consisted of over fifty people, but now only twenty-odd remained. Over thirty of them were either surrounded by zombies or bitten, and he had decisively abandoned them; otherwise, all of them would have died.

The other five camouflage-clad soldiers felt much better seeing their Captain stand up for them, and their resentment slowly dissipated.

Si Nan quietly observed the Captain, feeling admiration. With the Apocalypse’s arrival, he still remained upright and unwavering, maintaining his original military resolve, which was very rare.

“Why are you getting so angry? If you don’t want it, then don’t. I’m not asking for myself; everyone is hungry and tired.

You are soldiers, maintaining high-intensity training every day, and your willpower to endure hunger is very strong. But we are just ordinary folks; we haven’t eaten for a day and a night.”

The Yellow-Haired Kid looked at Si Nan with some reluctance. Of course, he didn’t dare to act. Not to mention the Captain’s group wouldn’t agree, even the Beauty and the man opposite didn’t look easy to mess with.

He merely wanted to take the lead and incite everyone to collectively demand food. He didn’t believe the other side wouldn’t be moved, and there were three Children in the team, too. But he was wrong; those three Children were held by their parents, not daring to utter a sound.

However, his words successfully evoked empathy from others, “That’s right, Captain, they didn’t say they wouldn’t give it, and you got angry. What if—”

“There’s no ‘what if’! Don’t use a survivor’s tone to morally blackmail others into doing things for you as if it’s their obligation. If you’re so capable, why don’t you go find food yourself?

Given your attitude and tone, even if there were more food, I wouldn’t give it to you. I’m certain that if zombies break through here, you’d be the first to push these camouflage-clad military brothers or the people around you out to block the zombies. Don’t argue with me; your expression just now already told me everything.”

Si Nan directly scolded the Yellow-Haired Kid like a machine gun.

This made the six camouflage-clad soldiers look at her with new respect: one word, gratifying; two words, exhilarating!

“You?!” The Yellow-Haired Kid was furious but didn’t dare to say another word.

Si Nan looked at him mockingly, “Don’t look at me with those dirty eyes; be careful, or I’ll poke them out!”

“Ugh!” The other timid people quickly covered their eyes in fear.

Including the Captain, two words came to the minds of the six camouflage-clad soldiers: so spicy!

But they liked it; this is how it should be in the Apocalypse. If you can’t even save your own life, who are you putting on airs for?

The Yellow-Haired Kid’s face grew even uglier. The people around him quickly moved away, as no one wanted to be pushed out to feed the zombies.

The atmosphere in the room was extremely oppressive.

Si Nan waved to the three Children in the crowd, “Come here, older sister has food for you.”

“Mommy?” The three Children were quite sensible, asking their mothers first.

“Go on, if older sister offers, you can take it.” The mothers agreed, and the three Children happily ran to Si Nan, politely thanking her, “Thank you, pretty older sister.”

“Oh, little sisters, your mouths are quite sweet! Just because you three didn’t cry or make a fuss, and behaved very well, older sister will reward each of you with a bottle of milk. Here, take them.”

Si Nan opened her bag and distributed all the food inside to the three Children. To dispel other people’s notions, she deliberately turned the bag inside out, completely cutting off the Yellow-Haired Kid and those women who were eyeing Luo Sen. Did they think Si Nan was blind?

The three Children were overjoyed, holding their items as they returned to their parents. There wasn’t much, actually: one bottle of milk and two bags of snacks each.

The Yellow-Haired Kid looked at the food in the Children’s arms, especially the bottle of White Peach Flavored Oat Milk, and
