Sister Nan's Combat Strength is Unknown, But It's Probably Only a Tiny Bit Stronger

137: Rosen and I are going to meet that Stone Master.Si Nan’s rule for giving out her phone number was: do not call her unless it was an absolute emergency. Since a call had come so quickly, she hurriedly pressed the answer button.

”Sister Nan, help! People from several Unit S are here to rob us. They have shotguns, and we’re about to be overwhelmed.”

”Let’s go!” Luo Sen pulled Si Nan and left.

At this moment, in the lobby of Unit S, Ge Yue and the others were heavily surrounded. Both sides were locked in a fierce battle. The military shovel in his hand was no match for the shotguns; over a dozen people had already fallen with serious injuries, and the floor was covered in blood.

The enemies were seeing red, shouting aggressively, ”Quick, brothers, push harder! We’re about to wipe them all out. Whoever grabs the women and food upstairs gets to keep them. As for the old, young, and useless ones—kill them all!”

Ge Yue’s left arm was wounded and he could no longer lift it. Despite this, he continued to fight. ”Everyone, hold the line! Wipe out these beasts! Even if we die, we can’t let them rush upstairs and harm our families!”

”Charge! Wipe out these beasts! Kill them!” The men of Unit S were also in a frenzy, using their military shovels like weapons, swinging them down at the heads of anyone they caught.

Both sides suffered heavy casualties.

”Baldy, go kill the one shouting the loudest; he’s the leader.” Seeing that Ge Yue’s shout had boosted everyone’s morale—from the brink of collapse to explosive combat power—the enemy boss realized the situation was turning against him and quickly ordered his trusted subordinate, Baldy, to take action.

”Alright, Boss, just watch. I’ll chop off his head and give it to you to kick around like a ball.” Hearing that he was being relied upon again, Baldy kicked aside an enemy nearby, ran toward Ge Yue with his blade raised, and swung his Kitchen knife at Ge Yue’s back.

But then—*Bang!*

Baldy’s body collapsed to the ground, faint smoke still rising from his heart. A bullet had pierced straight through, causing a beautiful flower of blood to bloom across his white jacket, spreading rapidly.

The Kitchen knife fell beside Baldy’s head with a clatter. Baldy’s eyes were wide, unable to believe he had died so suddenly. He had been alive just a second ago. ”How... how is this possible?”

”Who’s there?” Seeing Baldy’s death, the leader, Wang Sanqiang, abruptly turned his gun toward Gu Jie behind him, his eyes widening in fury. ”Security Section Chief? I thought you already left!”

However, Gu Jie ignored him and spoke to the five people behind him, ”Finish them off as quickly as possible.”

”Yes, Section Chief Gu.” The five security guards immediately split up to flank Wang Sanqiang’s men, their Batons striking down hard. The scene was filled with wails of pain.

”Then you’ll be the first to die! *Bang!*” Wang Sanqiang fired, aiming to take out Gu Jie in one shot. But in the next second, the pellets hit the wall, shattering a mural in the lobby.

A tall, handsome man suddenly appeared before him, catching the barrel of the gun with just two fingers. No matter how hard Wang Sanqiang pulled, he couldn’t break free.

”Let go! Who the hell are you?” Wang Sanqiang gripped the shotgun with one hand and threw a punch at Luo Sen’s handsome face with the other. With a crack, Luo Sen instead crushed his wrist with two fingers, leaving his entire arm limp.

”Aaaargh!” A pig-like squeal nearly pierced Si Nan’s eardrums. ”So you do feel pain. I thought you were made of iron, acting all high and mighty.”

”Aaaargh!” Luo Sen applied pressure again, dislocating Wang Sanqiang’s other arm, leaving him like a pathetic, broken dog rolling on the ground and howling.

Only then did Wang Sanqiang see clearly. ”It’s you, Si Nan! Are you sure you want to oppose us? So what if you kill all of us? There are plenty more people in our eight Unit S—over five hundred of them. They could drown you just by spitting on you!”

Just then, Gu Jie returned and told Si Nan, ”Everyone except him has been dealt with.”

”That’s impossible, not that fast!” Wang Sanqiang didn’t believe it and hurriedly looked around. His men were indeed all dead. He suddenly burst into laughter, ”Hahaha! You’re dead meat! You’re dead meat, Si Nan! You’re finished!”

His laughter made it seem as if Si Nan had fallen into their trap, but even if she had, she didn’t care.

She walked unhurriedly and stopped by Wang Sanqiang’s head. ”Oh, so you’re just a low-level pawn. It seems your boss doesn’t value you much, either. Don’t you know that the first lackeys sent out are always cannon fodder?

Tell me, who is your big boss?”

Wang Sanqiang rolled over onto his stomach and looked up at Si Nan’s beautiful face. ”Hahaha! If I told you, you’d die of fright! Our boss said this entire Residential Area belongs to him. Anyone who dares to disagree or oppose him must die.”

”So, I’ll give you two choices. First, let me go immediately and apologize to me. Second, let my brothers go and carry me back to our boss to—Aaaargh!”

Si Nan stepped on the wrist Luo Sen had crushed and ground her foot down hard. ”How nice. Your words really touched my heart. I’ll ’apologize’ to you right now. Satisfied?

Now talk—who exactly is your boss?”

Si Nan’s expression suddenly turned cold as she applied a sudden burst of force. Wang Sanqiang instantly passed out from the pain.

Slap, slap, slap. Si Nan used her foot to slap Wang Sanqiang’s face several times, waking him right back up. ”Who is it?”

”Ah! I’ll talk, I’ll talk! It’s Master Shi! Master Shi of Unit K! He gathered people from eight Unit S—K, V, R, L, N, Q, U, and Y—to rob the other buildings. I’ve told you everything, please just let me go!”

”Impossible. The people in those eight Unit S were slaughtered long ago. How could they still be alive?” Si Nan and Luo Sen were startled. Was there some information they had missed?

Wang Sanqiang shook his head. ”I’m really not lying to you! Before the slaughter, Master Shi had already gathered all the men from those eight buildings and moved them away.”

Luo Sen used the tip of his shoe to flip Wang Sanqiang over, looking down as he interrogated him. ”Who is this Master Shi? What weapons does he have?”

When it truly came down to life and death, no one wanted to die, and Wang Sanqiang was no exception. He answered quickly, ”Master Shi... he’s from the underworld. He’s... he’s very powerful. He has... strong... powerful bodyguards, and... and also...”

Before he could finish, Wang Sanqiang fainted from excessive blood loss.

”And what else?” Gu Jie grabbed Wang Sanqiang by the collar and shook his head, but he wouldn’t wake up.

Gu Jie checked Wang Sanqiang’s breathing and shook his head at Si Nan. ”He’s dead.”

Si Nan frowned and said, ”Take Ge Yue and the others upstairs first and help them bandage their wounds. Luo Sen and I will go meet that Master Shi.”

Since they had already sent people to her territory and declared war, openly competing for control of the Residential Area, a violent clash was inevitable if she didn’t deal with it today. She might as well strike while the iron was hot and settle it now.
