Sister Nan's Combat Strength is Unknown, But It's Probably Only a Tiny Bit Stronger

119: You mean you want to take me to rob your security company?Luo Sen put away the Military Knife, stepped back to Si Nan’s side, and naturally took hold of her hand.

Si Nan simply thought he was being childish and didn’t mind, but in the eyes of Gu Jie and the others, it was different—the two of them were a match made in heaven.

With these two joining forces, there was likely no one who could be their match.

Thus, Gu Jie swallowed a mouthful of cold air and said, ”My family is still alive. I want to ask for your help using the Armored Vehicle to send me and my brothers home. As a reward, I will give you the weapons and equipment from a Security Company.”

This piqued Si Nan’s interest. ”You mean you’re taking me to rob your Security Company?”

Gu Jie: ”...”

He laughed awkwardly. ”Ahem, my company has already fallen. Since someone else is going to get their hands on it anyway, I might as well do you a favor.”

”Deal!” Si Nan nodded and turned to head back into the courtyard.

”Wait a minute, can we leave now? I’m worried about my family; the zombies have gone crazy,” Gu Jie called out to her.

Si Nan didn’t look back. ”Am I not going back to get the Armored Vehicle?”

Gu Jie suddenly breathed a sigh of relief.

Entering the courtyard gate, Si Nan was much happier than he was. Someone like Gu Jie was unwilling to remain subordinate to others, as he had the ability to protect himself.

Moreover, judging from various past events, Gu Jie was too ruthless and cold-hearted. Letting him leave was a good thing for her, as it would make it easier for her to control the entire Residential Area.

Back inside, Si Nan and Luo Sen changed their clothes, putting on Bulletproof Vests underneath. After finishing, she asked Guan Xiaowen, ”How is Bai Zichuan doing?”

Guan Xiaowen replied immediately, ”He’s doing well. He’s already woken up and even finished a full bowl of White Porridge this morning.”

Si Nan said, ”That’s good. You stay here and continue to look after Bai Zichuan. I’m going out to handle some business. In his condition, he can’t be moved for now. I’ll send you all to a safe place in two days.”

”Alright, Sister Nan.”

Gu Jie waited outside until he almost thought Si Nan had backed out of the deal. It wasn’t until the Armored Vehicle drove out that his heart finally settled.

Everyone immediately climbed into the vehicle, all squeezing into the back. No one dared to get close to Luo Sen; even though the security guards were squeezed so tightly they were practically sitting on each other’s laps, they were still unwilling to take the empty seats in the front.

Luo Sen was quite satisfied with this, occasionally glancing at them through the rearview mirror.

”Ugh!” Everyone gasped in fright.

When Luo Sen looked away, they let out a long breath they had been holding: This Killing Machine was too terrifying; couldn’t he just treat us as if we didn’t exist?

Including Gu Jie, everyone prayed in their hearts that Luo Sen wouldn’t look at them, allowing them to pretend they weren’t afraid.

Outside the vehicle, white snow drifted down, blanketing the earth and worsening the zombie virus situation. It had been snowing for over a month with no sign of stopping, making life even harder for the survivors.

Living was already difficult enough, and with ice and snow everywhere, almost everything except high-rise buildings was buried under white snow. Without an Armored Vehicle, it would truly be impossible to move an inch.

Gu Jie had never felt that the road home was so long. He looked at the Mechanical Watch on his wrist; only ten minutes had passed, yet it felt like a century.

Si Nan drove the vehicle and didn’t take the initiative to speak to them. There were still many zombies on the road, and with Luo Sen there, they didn’t know what to say, fearing they might say the wrong thing.

What if Luo Sen got unhappy and killed them instantly? Consequently, the low pressure inside the vehicle was even more terrifying than the outside, making it almost impossible to breathe.

Finally, ”Bang!”

A tall, powerful zombie holding a thick tree trunk blocked the Armored Vehicle. Si Nan said, ”Everyone, sit tight.”

She suddenly accelerated and rammed into the zombie ahead. There were too many people in the car, and she didn’t want Luo Sen to expose his secret as the Corpse King; she had repeatedly instructed Luo Sen about this before they set off.

Gu Jie and the others watched the powerful zombie that wouldn’t die even after being hit, their expressions turning extremely grim. ”Not good, this zombie is too strong. It must have mutated for some reason.”

”Roar—” The Armored Vehicle had already knocked aside the zombie and the tree trunk to rush past, but the zombie had no intention of letting them go. It chased them while throwing tree trunks at the Armored Vehicle.

Fortunately, although it had mutated, its speed still couldn’t match the Armored Vehicle, and it was soon left far behind. Luo Sen narrowed his eyes at the zombie through the rearview mirror, his eyes filled with killing intent.

Si Nan knew he wanted to kill that zombie, so she quickly reached out and pulled his hand. This trick really worked; he immediately gave her an exceptionally beautiful smile, meaning: Don’t worry, Nan Nan, I’m not angry.

Seeing his anger dissipate, Si Nan withdrew her hand to focus on driving. Feeling his hand empty, he became unhappy again and glanced coldly at the annoying backseats with his peripheral vision, wanting to kill them all.

Someone couldn’t take the silence anymore and started chatting. ”Section Chief Gu, why do you think that zombie just now could become so strong? It was like a small mountain, yet its original form was still human.”

”Ahem, I don’t know either. Perhaps it ate something special, or maybe it was already sick and it combined with the zombie virus.”

”Right, right, that’s very possible. Maybe he had a terminal illness before turning into a zombie, and after turning, he was suddenly cured and mutated into a freak.”

”I bet even three gunshots wouldn’t kill him.”

”That’s not necessarily true. A headshot would definitely kill him.”

At this point, everyone’s ’discussion’ came to an abrupt halt because they clearly felt a dense killing intent emanating from Luo Sen. Each of them quickly shut their mouths.

Sure enough, the killing intent on Luo Sen slowly receded.

”Phew!”

”My god!”

”Good heavens!”

”Why is this road so long? Haven’t we arrived yet?”

The security guards switched to communicating with their eyes.

Half an hour later, they finally arrived. Gu Jie gave the company’s address to Si Nan and explained the location of the weapons warehouse. He gripped the weapon in his hand and led his men out of the vehicle.

Si Nan noted the name of the Residential Area. If Gu Jie dared to play any tricks, she would come back and finish him off.

”They are so annoying. Nan Nan, let’s go quickly. Let’s go grab the weapons, it’ll be fun.” With no one else in the vehicle, Luo Sen let himself go.

Si Nan smiled. ”Alright, alright, let’s go quickly. I’m afraid someone else might get to those weapons first if we’re late.”

In the rearview mirror, Gu Jie and the others were fighting zombies, quickly fleeing toward their own houses. Si Nan watched them coldly, long since accustomed to such sights.

Ten minutes later, the Armored Vehicle stopped in front of a towering skyscraper. Si Nan looked at the luxurious and grand entrance and was suddenly delighted. ”Even the storefront is so grand; there must be plenty of good things inside. Looking at it reminds me of the company you were at, Luo Sen. I wonder if your company has fallen yet?”

Luo Sen: ”...”

He gave a helpless, doting smile and quickly played dumb. ”The company Sen Sen was at? Does Sen Sen have a company? That’s great then. After we empty this place, let’s go check out Sen Sen’s company.”

Si Nan was naturally happy. ”Hahaha, great idea. Let’s go, let’s head in and empty this place.”

But when she went inside, she was so angry her teeth ached: ”Damn it, it’s already been looted clean!”
