Sister Nan's Combat Strength is Unknown, But It's Probably Only a Tiny Bit Stronger

132: Lawson, help me get rid of someone. The security guard aunt paused for a moment, then continued, ’After that, we... got together. You know, if such a thing hadn’t happened, a teacher like him would have been out of my league.’

’A teacher?’ Si Nan turned her head again to look at the man.

The man had already walked over with a beaming smile. ’Miss Si, you’re a legend in our Residential Area, beautiful and kind-hearted. Now you’re distributing food to everyone and organizing people to reinforce the walls. If it weren’t for this terrible situation, I would definitely introduce you to my relatives.’

Si Nan didn’t like this man. With just one glance, she knew the security guard aunt had been deceived by his sweet talk. Whether it was appearance or any other aspect, someone like the security guard aunt wouldn’t catch the eye of a man like him.

Yet, he had accepted her. And in such a short time, even before his wife and Child had returned, he had accepted her. This showed just how fickle this man was.

The security guard aunt had always been straightforward and guileless. How could she possibly outmaneuver such a cunning, intellectual type? Sigh~

’Little Nan is amazing, of course. She’s been incredible since she was a Child, very obedient and well-behaved. It’s just that her parents passed away too early.’ The security guard aunt held Si Nan’s hand, reluctant to let go.

Si Nan closed her eyes. But hearing the aunt’s happy tone, she realized this was her personal affair, and it wasn’t Si Nan’s place to interfere. ’Alright, wait here. I’ll go inside and get it for you.’

’Wait a moment.’ Just as Si Nan was about to leave, the man called out to stop her.

Si Nan’s heart suddenly turned cold. Was he about to reveal his true colors? She turned back.

Seeing the man stop Si Nan, the security guard aunt quickly asked, ’Little Nan is already going in to get the medicine for us. That’s enough.’

This one sentence exposed the man’s insatiable greed, belying his outwardly gentle and refined appearance.

Sure enough, the man continued with a gentle, elegant smile. ’Xiao Yun (the security guard aunt) has been praising you to me. Could you also grab some nutritious food for my Child? The Child has been malnourished these past few days and has lost a lot of weight.

Your security guard aunt has also been sick and needs extra nutrition. We---’

’Yongqing!’ The security guard aunt rudely interrupted Fang Yongqing’s greed. ’Stop it. We still have food at home. We’re already embarrassed enough to ask for two boxes of medicine. Don’t ask for anything else. If we take more, how will I ever be able to face Little Nan again?’

’Oh, I wasn’t thinking. Miss Si, please pretend you didn’t hear that. I’ll wait over there.’ Fang Yongqing gave an apologetic smile, hugged the Child, and walked back.

But the moment he turned around, his face instantly turned utterly heartless. He even directly pinched the Child in his arms, who had been quiet, making it cry out loudly. The Child began wailing.

He cooed softly, ’Oh, Little Treasure, don’t cry. Daddy will go back and make you some noodle soup.’

Si Nan concluded that this man was a ruthless character, exceptionally cunning. After being spoken to like that by the security guard aunt, any normal man would be angry. Yet, not only was he not angry, he even smiled and apologized. His forbearance and acting skills were top-notch.

Sigh, how did the security guard aunt get involved with such a man? Probably because she had been alone for too long. Si Nan asked the aunt quietly, ’Is he really good to you?’

The security guard aunt was taken aback for a moment, then smiled and nodded. ’He’s quite good. Maybe because I’m not his first wife, he often loses his temper. But other than that, everything is fine.’

Si Nan suddenly remembered something important and asked again, ’Then, about me telling you to stock up on things in advance... have you mentioned that to him?’

’No, no, I haven’t told anyone about that. Speaking of which, I need to thank you in person. It’s because of the things you told me to stockpile that we’ve managed to survive until now. We still have quite a bit left.’

The security guard aunt was beaming with joy.

However, Si Nan had already figured it out. This man was too shrewd. He must have known long ago that the security guard aunt was close to her, and that she was a woman living alone. He deliberately had the aunt go to his place to help look after his Child.

He not only used the aunt as free childcare but also gained her affection and her stored food supplies. Now, he was using her to directly beg for medicine and food. What a brilliant scheme, killing four birds with one stone!

This man was too terrifying. He absolutely could not be allowed to stay!

But looking at the security guard aunt... Si Nan was troubled again. Suddenly, she thought of something and hurriedly asked the aunt, ’Which building and which apartment do you live in?’

’Apartment 1101, Building T. Why?’ the security guard aunt replied.

’Ah!’ Si Nan’s eyes turned cold. No wonder. This man was the ruthless one from Building T. Luo Sen had told her that in Building T, nine men armed with iron rods had smashed into homes, entered one, killed everyone inside, and looted it, leaving no survivors wherever they went!

They didn’t even spare the elderly and children. Among them was a seemingly gentle, bespectacled man. Luo Sen had sent zombies to clear that building, yet this man was still alive!

’Auntie, I think that man is dangerous. You should... be careful.’ What Si Nan wanted to say, ’Leave him,’ changed to ’be careful.’

Because the man was already calling for the security guard aunt. He must have grown suspicious.

’Alright, coming right away,’ the security guard aunt responded happily to the man.

Si Nan said nothing more. She went into the yard and symbolically walked around a few times before coming out with two boxes of medicine and a crate of milk. She hoped this crate of milk would buy the man’s better treatment of the aunt.

’Little Nan, thank you. I’ll take the medicine, but I won’t take the milk. You keep it for yourself,’ the security guard aunt adamantly refused the milk.

’Take it. You’re sick. If you really want to thank me, then quickly get healthy and strong.’ Si Nan forced the milk into the aunt’s hands. If she didn’t take it, how would she explain things when she got back?

That man was watching from the side. He had come along precisely to get things.

’Alright then, I won’t stand on ceremony. You go back inside quickly. It’s too cold outside. I’m leaving now.’ The security guard aunt left, looking back every few steps.

Si Nan watched her retreating figure with deep concern. As soon as she returned, she quickly pulled up the surveillance feed for Apartment 1101, Building T, and sat down to watch. The moment Luo Sen came up, she said, ’Luo Sen, help me deal with someone.’

’That shameless man from earlier? I watched the whole thing. If you and that aunt hadn’t been chatting warmly, I would have dealt with him already. I assume that aunt has been good to you.’

’Yes, when my parents had their accident, this security guard aunt helped me a lot, running around tirelessly.’ Si Nan’s mood was low. She was very worried about the security guard aunt, who hadn’t even reached home yet.

’Alright.’ Luo Sen knew it was inconvenient for Si Nan to act. When he was around, he didn’t want Si Nan’s hands stained with blood.

Just as they were speaking, a sudden scream came from the surveillance footage. They saw Fang Yongqing, who had just entered, place the Child on the sofa, then grab the security guard aunt by the hair, pin her to the ground, and start beating her, all while cursing:

’You cheap slut! I say a few nice words and you jump into bed with me. Are you so desperate for a man that you’ve been plotting against me all along? Do you still not understand the reality?

Everyone is dead! There’s no electricity, no water, we’re trapped by zombies and can’t get out. What’s wrong with me asking Si Nan for some things? You’ve been so good to her, she should be filial to you!’

’Damn it!’ Si Nan cursed angrily, stood up in a rage, and rushed downstairs.
