Sister Nan's Combat Strength is Unknown, But It's Probably Only a Tiny Bit Stronger

130: Completely cut off power and water supply.Si Nan scanned the room and asked everyone.

Everyone looked at Si Nan in unison, admiring her to the point of utter devotion. In such a short time, she had planned out the entire villa complex. Every day, she thought about how to survive well, and everyone nodded in worship.

”Not only do we understand, but it’s also incredibly detailed. Tomorrow morning we’ll familiarize ourselves with the villa, and in the afternoon we can start working.”

”Right, leave packing the stuff to the wives; we men will start construction immediately.”

”Great! Once all of this is finished, this place will be an original ecological pastoral life. I can’t wait.”

Ma Bufan clutched the villa map, unable to put it down. For once in his life, he was a wealthy man, getting to live in a luxury villa he could only dream of. How could he not be excited?

Sister Xiao Wen and her brother also nodded with bright eyes. ”Mhm, mhm. Everyone’s meals will be handled by me, Sister Mei, and Sister Bai. Besides cleaning, we’ll take care of the Four Gardens, ensuring everyone can eat fresh fruits and vegetables, drink good tea, and smell the fragrance of flowers.”

Mei Xue and Bai Rong also nodded repeatedly. ”Yes, the two of us can carry the children while doing what we can. We’ll take care of all the cooking, laundry, and cleaning.”

Seeing everyone’s enthusiasm, Si Nan felt it necessary to remind them, ”Safety first. The zombies outside are evolving every day. Occasionally, one or two powerful ones might slip in; you must deal with them immediately.”

”From the day the zombie virus broke out, there has been no absolutely safe place in this world. You must remain vigilant at all times.”

”Even during normal times, don’t stay outside constantly when you have nothing to do. Every door and pane of glass here is top-tier equipment; as long as the doors are closed, zombies won’t be able to break through.”

”Sister Nan, we understand.” On the way here, they had all learned that Si Nan, who had disappeared for three days, had actually been seizing the most top-tier, luxurious, and secure villa complex in City A.

Importantly, it had water and electricity, beautiful scenery, a considerable area, and high terrain that wouldn’t be flooded. This mountain villa complex was built on a leveled-off mountainside.

Originally, the wind was a bit strong, but because of the sturdy, towering walls, the wind wasn’t that bad anymore—it was just right.

They were so excited that words couldn’t describe their feelings. This hard-won paradise on earth had to be protected with their lives, right? Hahaha~

At noon, everyone had a sumptuous reunion meal. It had been a long time; they had been eating whatever they could find every day and had almost forgotten the taste of braised pork and rib soup.

Si Nan wasn’t stingy either, taking out a lot of meat for the three women to cook a large table of good dishes. Not to mention anything else, the seasonings in Huangfu Qiankun’s luxurious kitchen were plentiful; for their small group, it would probably last ten years.

”Slurp~” Four-year-old Bai Zhuangzhuang looked at the braised pork and sucked back his drool.

Bai Rong felt a bit embarrassed. ”Zhuangzhuang, wait just a moment, we’ll eat very soon.”

”Mhm, mhm, the braised pork smells so good.” The little fellow nodded obediently.

It wasn’t just The little fellow; even Ma Bufan and Xiao Ning couldn’t help themselves. ”I never used to think braised pork could smell this good.”

Si Nan spoke up, ”Things are valued when they are rare. Hurry up and eat before it gets cold. Look how greedy you all are.”

She knew they were starving for it, so she specifically took out five pounds of pork belly and made a large pot that filled two big basins, with potatoes added in. She picked out a few potatoes into her bowl and ate unhurriedly.

Bai Zhuangzhuang was small after all, and he ate the braised pork with all his might. His father, Bai Zichuan, couldn’t even stop him. ”Slow down, no one is competing with you.”

The little fellow pointed his chopsticks at Ma Bufan. ”Brother Fan is competing with me.”

Looking at Ma Bufan, he really wasn’t being polite, stuffing a piece of braised pork into his mouth with every bite, eating with such gusto that his mouth was covered in oil. ”I definitely have to compete; it’ll be gone in a moment. Don’t think that just because you’re small, I’ll let you win.”

Everyone: ”Have some dignity!”

Ma Bufan was particularly thick-skinned. ”Waaaah, can’t I use braised pork to heal my broken heart? Sister Nan already has that super-invincible handsome Boyfriend, Brother Sen. I have a love rival now.”

”Pfft—” Before Si Nan could even laugh, Guan Xiaowen sprayed out the drink she had just taken into her mouth and slapped Ma Bufan on the shoulder. ”When are you going to change your unreliable personality?”

Ma Bufan took a big mouthful of rice and said, ”I can’t change it. I just like a Beauty like Sister Nan, but I will compete fairly with Brother Sen.”

Si Nan lazily added, ”Let’s talk about this after you grow up.”

In everyone’s eyes, Ma Bufan was just a source of joy.

Ma Bufan was immediately delighted. ”See, I still have a lot of room for improvement. Brother Sen can’t compare to me on that point.”

”Hahaha—” Everyone was amused.

After the meal, Si Nan went to check on her beloved hens. They were doing well; after not seeing them for three days, they had grown a size fatter. There were many eggs on the ground. The rest was left to Ma Bufan and Xiao Ning to take care of.

The two of them carried a small basket and went in to pick up the eggs, their mouths covered with towels. ”Wow, we have eggs to eat tonight. If we can’t grow tea later, we can still eat tea eggs. Delicious!”

Luo Sen was teaching Song Yuan and Bai Zichuan how to use guns; everyone was very busy.

An hour later, Si Nan and Luo Sen left, taking a different route back to start their routine search for supplies, taking whatever they could find. Their luck was just as good today; they emptied a retail shop of its cement and lime, which were what they needed most right now.

Just as they were about to start searching the lumber shop next door, messages kept coming in on the phone. It was Director Lin, Ge Yue, and Mao Xin all tagging her at the same time: ”Sister Nan, The Authorities just announced that starting tomorrow they can no longer maintain the two hours of daily power supply. They told everyone to find their own solutions. What should we do?”

”We were relying entirely on those 2 hours of midday power to lay the foundation and cut the steel plates. Our phones will also be useless soon.”

After replying to the three of them, Si Nan looked up at the sky. ”Sigh, they only lasted a month before they couldn’t hold on. A complete cutoff of power and water means The Authorities have abandoned this city and given the power to other places.”

”When the Apocalypse arrives, those big shots with status think of themselves first. Finally, we’ve reached the terrible state of no power and no water. From now on, everything will sink into darkness at night.”

”Next, we’ll need even more fuel. Needless to say, the natural gas will also be gone soon. Luo Sen, we need to speed up our search, otherwise I don’t know when the Residential Area will be finished.”

Luo Sen smashed the chain lock on the door of the neighboring lumber shop with a hammer, then walked over and took Si Nan’s hand, leading her into the shop out of the wind. ”Don’t be afraid, you have me. If there isn’t enough fuel in City A, we’ll search the nearby cities. We can always find plenty. Don’t we have a helicopter now?”

”Don’t come out tomorrow. I’ll go out alone to search for supplies while you rest for two days.”

Si Nan shook her head. ”How can I do that? You’ll be even more tired. I have the space; I can just put things in without having to move or carry them. You’re different.”

”And I don’t have anything else to do. How about this: when we go back tonight, we’ll list all the gas stations in the city and search them one by one using the helicopter. We’ll secure the entire city’s fuel first.”
