Sister Nan's Combat Strength is Unknown, But It's Probably Only a Tiny Bit Stronger

138: How about I give you two choices: either commit suicide or be killed?Si Nan was afraid of a counter-offensive from that man called Master Shi if she and Luo Sen were ever away. Currently, Bai Zichuan was seriously injured, and Song Yuan and Ma Bufan had to guard Yunshu Mountain Villa. Gu Jie’s group of six alone wouldn’t be able to handle hundreds of people.

Unit K was actually the closest building to Si Nan’s house, the nearest high-rise to the villa area. Standing at the base of the building, Si Nan looked up.

Aside from the sound of wind, snow, and the roars of zombies, it was quiet above. However, as her footsteps moved toward the first-floor lobby...

”Watch out!” Luo Sen suddenly hugged Si Nan tightly and flashed three meters away from the first floor.

Then, with a ”bang,” a bullet struck the spot where Si Nan had just been standing. A hole was blown into the originally intact concrete pavement, and shards of concrete flew everywhere, one of which nearly grazed Si Nan’s face.

At the critical moment, Luo Sen held Si Nan and used his body to block the stone fragment. Si Nan clearly heard the sound of the stone hitting Luo Sen’s back. Although he didn’t cry out in pain, she clearly felt his body stiffen.

”Let me see, is the injury serious?” Si Nan turned Luo Sen’s body around and lifted the clothes on his back.

Luo Sen stopped her. ”I’m fine.”

”With that sound just now, it can’t be nothing.” Taking advantage of Luo Sen not paying attention, Si Nan reached her hand behind his back and felt it: ”Blood?”

Luo Sen shook his head. ”It’s fine. You forgot I have a very strong self-healing ability; it really doesn’t matter. But since those people upstairs hurt me, I’m going to settle this debt with their heads. Come, I’ll take you up.”

Luo Sen grabbed Si Nan’s hand and dashed into the first-floor lobby in a single sprint, while a hail of bullets behind them fired incessantly.

”Quick, report to Master Shi! Si Nan and a man are coming up, we can’t stop them!” The floors above were in an uproar, with screams mixed with fear.

The man named Master Shi was currently enjoying a full-body morning massage from his harem of beauties. Though fifty, he was still vigorous, hugging two young Beauties and hadn’t gotten out of bed yet. One Beauty massaged his back while the other massaged his feet, while he comfortably held his phone, scrolling through adult films from a certain country, looking for the best positions for the night’s battle.

From the first day the Apocalypse arrived, he had lived the life of an emperor. These two Beauties were residents of this building who had fallen to the extreme and delivered themselves to his door.

How could a man refuse a Beauty throwing herself into his arms? Especially an old man who had come up from the streets like Master Shi, for whom entering and leaving dens of vice was as common as a home-cooked meal; of course, he accepted them all.

Suddenly, a subordinate pounded on the door with a ”bang bang bang,” his voice so loud that Si Nan and Luo Sen, who were walking on the eighth floor, could hear him clearly. ”Ahhh, Master Shi, this is bad! That woman Si Nan is charging up with a wild man through a hail of bullets! That dog Wang Sanqiang betrayed you!”

”What?” Upon hearing this, Master Shi kicked the two Beauties aside and hurriedly scrambled up to put on his clothes. ”Damn it, that means all the people I sent out have been wiped out.”

Eagle, go and call all the brothers. Since that woman Si Nan doesn’t know what’s good for her and has come to my door, then Master Shi will take her today. Go quickly!”

”Yes, Master Shi. No need to call; our people are all living on these floors. One shout and the brothers will grab their gear and come down.”

”Coming, coming! Who is so bold as to dare act against our Master Shi? I’ll be the first to finish him off!”

”Brothers, let’s go! Maybe it’s a fat sheep. Better if it’s a woman, then the brothers can take turns having a taste of meat, ahahaha~”

”I will make you pay a bloody price for your filth.” Luo Sen suddenly spoke, his cold voice transmitted upward through his power, deafeningly loud.

It caused those subordinates who had just opened their mouths to insult Si Nan to clutch their ears and scream in agony: ”Ah— it hurts, it hurts so much! My ears hurt!”

”No, I can’t hear anything anymore— ahhh~”

Blood gushed from those men’s ears and nostrils, and they couldn’t stop it no matter how they tried to cover them. Blood flowed through the gaps between their fingers as they clutched their ears, and they knelt on the ground one by one in pain, shaking their heads desperately.

That was only the beginning. Luo Sen suddenly increased his power, and another wave of majestic force covered them.

”Ahhh— pfft—” Those men directly spat out blood, then bled from all seven orifices, falling to the ground dead one after another. Their hands still held weapons, pointed toward the doorway.

Master Shi and those two Beauties weren’t faring much better, but he was clever and covered his ears immediately, barely avoiding having his eardrums ruptured by Luo Sen’s voice, though a splitting headache was certain.

Furthermore, because he was a trained martial artist and used his internal martial arts for protection, this old thing was fine after a period of splitting headaches.

The two Beauties were miserable; their deaths were even worse than those subordinates upstairs. They bled from their seven orifices and slumped across the bed, soon losing their breath.

”What? Dead?” Master Shi tested the breath of the two Beauties; neither was breathing. He quickly kicked them off the bed to avoid them contaminating his bed.

After getting fully dressed and opening the room door, the subordinate who had been pounding on the door was kneeling before him with a bloody face, already at his last breath. ”Master Shi, our people are... more than half are dead... I, bang!”

Before he could finish his sentence, the subordinate fell to the ground dead. The terrifying thing was that Master Shi still hadn’t figured out what kind of power this was or what had emitted it.

”Master Shi? Master Shi, are you alright? What was that just now? Our ears still feel like they’re being poked by needles, and we can’t hear clearly, it’s all intermittent.” Other subordinates arrived one after another.

Master Shi grabbed one subordinate’s ear to check. ”It’s full of blood; you can’t hear a damn thing. Clean it out quickly.”

”Master Shi, what did you say?” The subordinate couldn’t hear again.

”I said clean the blood out of your ears!”

”What? You want to eat dumplings tonight?”

”Get lost!”

Fuming, Master Shi kicked the subordinate away and commanded all the others to grab their weapons and spread out to guard the corridors and stairwells. They had occupied everything from the 20th floor up in this building.

Si Nan and Luo Sen were climbing the stairs unhurriedly. Since none of those people upstairs were going to live anyway, what was the rush?

While slaughtering the weaklings, Luo Sen didn’t forget to take advantage of his future wife. Feeling that holding hands wasn’t enough to satisfy him, he unobtrusively put his arm around Si Nan’s slender waist. ”Tired? I’ll fly you up.”

Si Nan refused. ”No need, I’ll walk myself. I ate too much for breakfast.”

Luo Sen laughed. ”You only ate one sandwich and one boiled egg, okay? I finished the rest of the half-table of food.”

Si Nan looked up at the endless stairs and replied nonchalantly, ”Well, how can I compare to you? You’re a god, while I’m human. I’ll work harder to see if I can cultivate to the level of Inedia.”

”Hahaha, do you think we can ascend to the heavens and become immortals? Alright, we’re walking too slowly. We still need to scavenge all the fuel in the city; there’s no need to be delayed like this by a few scum.”

Luo Sen didn’t care anymore; he held Si Nan’s waist tightly and soared upward. In the blink of an eye, they reached the 20th floor, and looking up, they saw Master Shi’s men lined up waiting for them.

”It’s them, kill!” Master Shi’s men reacted quickly as well; suddenly seeing Si Nan and Luo Sen, they raised the weapons in their hands to hack at them.

Luo Sen set Si Nan down, pulled out two Military Knives, and with a single sprint and flash, the men who had charged forward had already collapsed.

At the doorway, Master Shi held a machine gun and threatened Luo Sen, ”I’ll give you two choices. Either get lost back where you came from and we’ll continue to mind our own business, or die here. I’ll give you three seconds to choose.”

”How about I give you two choices: either commit suicide or be killed. Which one do you choose?” A cold voice floated up from below.
