Sister Nan's Combat Strength is Unknown, But It's Probably Only a Tiny Bit Stronger

120: It’s time to confess and receive leniency.A mess of ruins met her eyes. The walls were riddled with bullet holes, suggesting that more than one group had come to loot the place. After a fierce firefight, the entire company was destroyed beyond recognition, with many shell casings scattered underfoot.

After a quick sweep, she only managed to find a few guns without bullets. The warehouse was even more empty. Her only consolation was that those people preferred firearms and ammunition, leaving behind many cold weapons like Batons and knives.

Bai Zichuan and the others needed to be equipped with some advanced weapons, and Batons were certainly indispensable. She didn’t stand on ceremony, picking them all out from the ruins and storing them in her space.

It was still early. After coming out, Si Nan immediately started the Armored Vehicle and headed toward Luo Sen’s company. Given the strength of his company, there were bound to be many treasures inside.

She was impatient and didn’t want to be beaten to the punch like at the security company. She drove the Armored Vehicle like a sports car.

She sped all the way to Luo Sen’s company. Coincidentally, there were still people inside, and the entire company still had electricity. It truly lived up to its reputation as a top-tier security and renovation company.

But Luo Sen was familiar with the place. Leading her in a way that seemed like a reckless rampage to the uninformed, he accurately found his company’s large warehouse. Everything was still there!

Si Nan’s eyes widened. ”Whoa, your company really is the industry leader. So many top-tier materials! Well, I won’t be polite then—these are all mine.”

Perfect. She had been worried about not having good materials, but these were so high-quality that she was actually reluctant to use them. She asked Luo Sen, ”Does the company have other warehouses?”

”Warehouse? Yes, yes. I remember there’s a warehouse for mirrors, too. Very, very big mirrors.” Luo Sen led the way, twisting and turning until they reached the third basement level. This place was full of large-scale renovation materials—at least ten thousand kinds. It was overwhelming, and the entire third basement was filled with such items.

”Hahaha, I’m rich!” Si Nan was overjoyed. She placed her small hand on a sheet of bulletproof glass, and a neatly stacked pile of it vanished.

Like a young girl who had never seen the world, she danced along as she collected the dazzling array of items. Soon, the massive underground warehouse was emptied by her.

Afterward, they went to the second floor. She just kept collecting with her eyes closed. In the end, Luo Sen didn’t even need to lead her anymore.

Instead, Luo Sen followed behind her. The items in the company couldn’t keep up with her collection speed. Eventually, everything was emptied except for the areas that were lit and occupied by people.

Luo Sen glanced up at the survivors on the upper floors. They weren’t from his department, so he didn’t recognize any of them and treated them as strangers. Besides, in his current state, he couldn’t see anyone else anyway.

They continued scavenging on the way back until nightfall. That mutated zombie was actually still there. It seemed to be waiting for Si Nan and Luo Sen, but this time, it wasn’t so lucky.

”Luo Sen, be careful. This zombie isn’t simple. After you kill it, cut open its head and take a look; there should be a fairly large crystal core,” Si Nan instructed Luo Sen.

”crystal core?” He really didn’t know about this. He had never dug for a zombie’s crystal core. Could it be that besides the life essence condensed from the recently deceased that turned into Emeralds, zombies themselves could evolve and condense their power into crystal cores?

Si Nan told him, ”Yes, powerful zombies grow crystal cores in their heads. Although I don’t know what they’re used for yet, they’ll definitely be valuable in the future. Let’s save them up first.”

”Mm-hmm, save them up.” Since Nan Nan said they were useful, they must be very useful.

Luo Sen opened the car door and stepped out, immediately getting a face full of wind and snow. Fortunately, Nan Nan had given him a helmet.

”Roar—” The zombie had already rushed over.

Luo Sen calmly cleared the white snow from his helmet. Just as the zombie was about to pounce on him, he let out a ”Roar.”

”Awoo—” In the next second, the zombie suddenly braked and stopped in place. It didn’t leave, clearly observing whether Luo Sen was one of its kind. Then, it accelerated to a hundred-meter sprint speed and continued pouncing toward Luo Sen.

”You really are dirty and ugly.” Luo Sen leaped from the ground to dodge the zombie’s grasp. Gathering his strength, he flipped the Military Knife in his hand mid-air and decapitated it with one strike!

Thud, thud— The large head fell to the ground and rolled in front of the Armored Vehicle.

Luo Sen kicked the corpse away, walked over, and sliced open the zombie’s head with his Military Knife. He saw a bloody crystalline object. Disgusted by the grime, he used his foot to wash the crystal clean in the snow.

What emerged was a glowing green crystal, identical to the Emeralds he condensed. This confirmed that both the recently deceased and zombies could condense this life force.

The difference was that because the recently deceased were not zombies, they turned into a cloud of green mist. Once they became zombies and their vital signs were cut off, these forces slowly solidified in the brain.

This was great. He had been worried that living people were dying too quickly for him to condense enough Emeralds to increase Nan Nan’s strength. Now, he wasn’t worried at all.

”Is it this?” Getting back into the car, Luo Sen gave the crystal core to Si Nan.

”Yes, that’s it. As expected, the stronger the zombie, the larger the crystal core it condenses. This one is much bigger than the one Song Yuan gave me. Look.”

Si Nan took out the one Song Yuan had given her. Compared to Luo Sen’s, it was the difference between a walnut and a peanut.

Luo Sen took the opportunity to tell Si Nan, ”This is power. My power. Nan Nan, look.”

He immediately took the smallest one, placed it in his palm, and activated his power to absorb it instantly.

Si Nan’s breath hitched. ”You mean your power comes from these Emeralds?”

Luo Sen shook his head. ”I don’t know. I have my own power, but absorbing these can enhance it.” He really didn’t know; after becoming a zombie, he naturally gained his current power, which was growing stronger and stronger.

Si Nan stared at him fixedly, then understood. ”Hahaha, great! From now on, whenever I kill a powerful zombie, I’ll dig them out for you.”

”Sen Sen doesn’t need them; Sen Sen has many.” In his excitement, Luo Sen forgot to play dumb and quickly tried to resume the act.

On the other hand, he felt it was time for a full confession. He wanted Nan Nan to know he could absorb them. He took out a large bag he had collected and showed it to Si Nan.

Si Nan’s eyes went wide. ”My god, how do you have so many? Hurry and absorb them! Once you do, you’ll be even more powerful.”

”Nan Nan, this is life essence. You can absorb it too.” Luo Sen looked at her with a serious face.

”Me?” Si Nan pointed at her own nose. She wanted to tell Luo Sen that she was a normal person without a Supernatural Ability like his and couldn’t absorb these crystal cores, but she didn’t know how to explain it.

After all, the current Luo Sen only had the mental capacity of a two-year-old and probably wouldn’t understand. She gave up and shrugged. ”I’m a normal person and can’t absorb these. Keep them for yourself. Put them all away; these are treasures for you.”

Luo Sen immediately pulled her hand—
