Urban Martial Saint

Nalan Jingwei’s words indeed influenced the crowd, and they all agreed to take action against the Wanyan Family. At that moment, Ye Qing, Helian Tiehua, and others then joined Nalan Jingwei to discuss the plan against the Wanyan Family.

It was clear that Nalan Jingwei had thought through all the plans and immediately laid out his whole strategy. It must be said that Nalan Jingwei is a very intelligent person, and his plan is quite well devised, capable of taking down the Wanyan Family in Shenchuan City in one swift move.

Ye Qing and Helian Tiehua are not fools either. In Nalan Jingwei’s plan, it seems that the Nalan Family plays a crucial part. In fact, the Nalan Family’s roles are not very dangerous; the most critical steps are left to others to handle. However, the closing work is largely taken by the Nalan Family, which clearly shows their intention to gain an advantage. After all, the more weight they hold in the end, the higher their status will be in this affair, which aligns with Nalan Jingwei’s intention to expand the Nalan Family’s power.

However, even though they noticed the scheme, Ye Qing and Helian Tiehua pretended not to notice and both agreed to Nalan Jingwei’s plan, which made Nalan Jingwei very happy.

Little did he know, Ye Qing and Helian Tiehua had their own plans in mind. In this battle, their intention was to use this opportunity to deplete some of the Wanyan Family’s strength, slowly eating away at them bit by bit, managing to take down the Wanyan Family’s base in Shenchuan City would already be quite a feat. As for thoroughly crushing the Wanyan Family, that is practically impossible. Even though they have the Sword Saint Sect supporting the Wanyan Family’s power, they also can’t defeat the Wanyan Family. If the Sword Saint Sect really had a way to deal with the Wanyan Family’s two lethal weapons, they wouldn’t have been threatened and controlled by the Wanyan Family the last time. Hence, in this battle, neither Ye Qing nor Helian Tiehua held any hope.

In such an obviously unwinnable big battle, the more flamboyant the Nalan Family’s actions are, the more attention they will attract from the Wanyan Family. By the time the Wanyan Family returns from the Sword Saint Sect, the first thing they will likely do is seek revenge. And since the Nalan Family is so ostentatious in this affair, the first to be dealt with will be the Nalan Family. It’s safe to say that while the Nalan Family may gain a lot in this, the danger is equally significant. Thus, Ye Qing and Helian Tiehua did not contend with him over this matter; if Nalan wants the credit, let them have it all!

With the plan finalized, Nalan Jingwei enthusiastically went to arrange the Nalan Family’s masters. Ye Qing and Helian Tiehua also gathered everyone on their side and explained the plan to them.

After hearing Ye Qing’s words, someone on the scene raised doubts, and many could see the disproportionate role of the Nalan Family in this plan. However, Ye Qing and Helian Tiehua did not elaborate much and just brushed it off with a few words. Realizing that Ye Qing and Helian Tiehua also had their own plans, the others did not say much more, and the matter was thus settled.

In the afternoon, Nalan Jingwei gathered the top masters from the Nalan Family together. Although the Nalan Family’s strength is not as strong as the Wanyan Family’s, they do have some hidden masters. Now, they brought together nineteen Peak Masters, and with Nalan Jingwei, that made twenty Peak Masters, slightly stronger than Ye Qing’s side.

On Ye Qing’s side, everyone was ready to go, even bringing along people from the Yelu Family. Of course, the strength of the Yelu Family’s people is rather weak, and bringing them in this battle is likely to be a burden to everyone. However, Ye Qing couldn’t just leave the Yelu Family people with the Nalan Family. After all, the Yelu Family’s involvement is significant, especially since it relates to the whereabouts of the Xuanyuan Sword, which they absolutely cannot treat lightly.

In reality, the Yelu Family’s people changed their names for this trip, and the Nalan Family people did not know they belonged to the Yelu Family. Additionally, the Nalan Family was unaware of the Xuanyuan Sword’s connection with the Yelu Family, so they didn’t take notice of this matter. If they were to find out, the Nalan Family would likely be the first to go against the Yelu Family. After all, a Scabbard from the Minghong Knife alone can help the Wanyan Family oppose a powerful sect like the Sword Saint Sect, let alone something more formidable like the Xuanyuan Sword.

Moreover, since the Koga-ryu failed to capture the Yelu Family last time, they likely won’t give up and might still be watching them secretly. Therefore, the Yelu Family people must be kept close for safety. If the Koga-ryu manages to capture them, it would be troublesome!

Of course, once they reach Shenchuan City, the Yelu Family will certainly not fight. Given their strength, facing the battle would be an act of suicide!

After making all the preparations, everyone boarded a plane directly to Shenchuan City, arriving there that night. After resting briefly at a secret base on the outskirts, they split into three routes, heading straight for the Wanyan Family’s manor, which was once the manor of the World Alliance.

Ye Qing led a group of people to the west side of the manor, joined by Huangfu Ziyu, Lin Tianyou, Wolf Monk, Sha Men members, Ding Lianshun Yin Xianzi, and two Peak Masters from the Nalan Family.

Upon arriving outside the manor, Ye Qing and the others waited briefly. Until a faint yellow light flickered from the south side of the manor, everyone here immediately became alert.

”The people at the main gate have succeeded!” Ye Qing turned to look at everyone, whispering, ”Proceed according to the plan!”

The plan had been discussed earlier, so there was no delay as everyone dispersed and climbed over the manor walls.

Ye Qing and Huangfu Ziyu took the same route as Ding Lianshun Yin Xianzi. Huangfu Ziyu has Top Level mastery, allowing some self-protection in such a chaotic battle. In contrast, Ye Qing’s situation was even better, as Peak Masters couldn’t kill him with his current physical state. However, Ding Lianshun and Yin Xianzi still feared unexpected events and stayed close for protection.

Once inside the manor, the entire south side was evidently in uproar, as if someone was fighting over there. The southern attackers were precisely Nalan Jingwei and the Nalan Family members he led.

According to Nalan Jingwei’s plan, the Nalan Family members would charge directly from the main entrance, holding off the Wanyan Family’s frontal pressure. Meanwhile, Ye Qing and Helian Tiehua would lead people to surround them from both sides, intercepting any appearing masters, catching the Wanyan Family off guard. On the surface, it seemed like Nalan Jingwei and his people were facing the enemy head-on, bearing the brunt of the pressure. In reality, everyone knew that having Ye Qing and Helian Tiehua intercepting the masters on the sides meant there wouldn’t be many masters at the main entrance, making it the area of least pressure.

This is precisely part of Nalan Jingwei’s strategy, acting high-profile to seem like they are contributing the most effort. In truth, they were the most relaxed, preserving the Nalan Family’s strength while boosting their reputation.

However, in his efforts to enhance the family’s reputation, he forgot about their safety. Their entrance through the main gate was the most conspicuous. Even though Ye Qing and Helian Tiehua launched surprise attacks from the side, enduring significant pressure, after this battle, the Wanyan Family might not even pay attention to Ye Qing and Helian Tiehua. In contrast, they would definitely not forget the Nalan Family who entered from the main gate, seeing them as a primary enemy. Once Wanyan Hongfeng is free to act, the first ones they would deal with will certainly be the Nalan Family.

Ye Qing was very familiar with the layout of the manor, and they quietly moved close to the main building. There, they happened to see two masters rushing out. These two weren’t Peak Masters but Top-Level masters, posing no threat.

Ding Lianshun rushed in and easily dealt with these two Top-Level masters. However, just as these two fell to the ground, a cold voice emerged from a room inside: ”What’s happened to you two?”

From the voice, it was clear that this was a Peak Master who had heard the commotion outside.

Ding Lianshun didn’t respond, utilizing the Qinggong of Carefree Movement to hide at the room’s exit. Soon, a medium-built elder walked out of the room. Upon seeing the two people lying outside, his expression changed, and just as he was about to call out, Ding Lianshun attacked.

The elder had considerable power; even under such a surprise attack, he managed to dodge Ding Lianshun’s strike. However, Ding Lianshun was so swift that he tore a piece of the elder’s clothing, causing cold sweat on the elder’s forehead.

”Who are you?” the elder asked in a deep voice, scanning Ding Lianshun up and down, clearly unaware of his identity.

Actually, this elder was also unfamiliar; Ye Qing and the others had never seen him before. During the last great battle in Shenchuan City, this elder wasn’t present.

”The one who will kill you!” Ding Lianshun shouted coldly, attacking again with three consecutive lethal moves towards the elder’s body.

The elder blocked Ding Lianshun’s assaults and took a deep breath, saying in a deep voice, ”Young man, you don’t know the immensity of heaven and earth. Do you know who I am?”

”I don’t need to know who you are!” Ding Lianshun retorted coldly, attacking more swiftly, intending to resolve this elder quickly.

The elder’s skills were indeed formidable. Despite Ding Lianshun’s speed, he blocked Ding Lianshun’s attacks time after time. Judging by the situation, defeating him wouldn’t be an easy task for Ding Lianshun.

”Such arrogance!” the elder shouted coldly, saying, ”Then I’ll see today who will kill whom!”

The elder suddenly yelled angrily, causing his clothes to suddenly puff up like a deflating balloon. Just then, one of Ding Lianshun’s blows landed on his clothes, only to be bounced back, startling Ding Lianshun.
