Urban Martial Saint

The black hole was like a giant mouth, swallowing Ye Qing whole. However, just as Ye Qing was about to be completely engulfed by the black hole, it suddenly stopped, as if it had been obstructed by something.

”What happened?” Helian Tiehua and the others were puzzled, originally thinking Ye Qing was doomed, but suddenly this strange situation occurred.

Huangfu Ziyu was the first to react, immediately standing up to pull Ye Qing back, but Ye Qing hurriedly shouted to stop her: ”Don’t come over!”

Huangfu Ziyu looked at Ye Qing in astonishment and said, ”But you...”

”I’m fine!” Ye Qing took a deep breath, and as he spoke, a golden light began to flicker on him. The few Buddha’s relics hidden within his body seemed to be awakened at this moment, and a powerful force constantly surged out. It was this force that stabilized the black hole!

The four people were also very surprised; they clearly did not expect such a thing to happen. The four drew a breath of cold air and suddenly roared again, increasing their power to push the black hole forward. But how could their power compare to that of the Buddha’s relics? The powerful force of the Buddha’s relics actually slowly expanded the black hole. Originally, the black hole was only the size of two doors, but now it had grown to be as tall as two floors. And it continued to expand, looking very bizarre.

The four fully exerted their strength but were unable to compress the black hole even a millimeter, which made them even more panicked. The four exchanged glances and suddenly released their hands, simultaneously turning and running away; none of them dared to linger here for even a moment.

At that moment, the black hole burst open like a balloon being inflated beyond its limit. Strangely, this explosion did not disperse much power nor did it affect anything around it.

”Where do you think you’re going!” Ding Lianshun shouted, being the first to charge forward and block one of them. The others also followed suit, rushing to catch the remaining fugitives.

The man stopped by Ding Lianshun was visibly flustered. After exchanging two blows with Ding Lianshun, he immediately retreated. Ding Lianshun was much faster, sprinting after him and reaching out to grab him. But just as Ding Lianshun was about to catch the man, he suddenly vanished into thin air, as if he had never existed.

Ding Lianshun paused for a moment, then furrowed his brow tightly and said in a deep voice, ”Everyone be careful, it’s a Wo Country’s ninja!”

While Ding Lianshun was speaking, similar events were unfolding all around. The others were on the verge of capturing the men, but all vanished simultaneously, a trick of Wo Country’s ninjutsu.

Before long, the four men reappeared farther away. The crowd wanted to pursue them again, but Helian Tiehua stopped them. At this distance, catching them again would be challenging.

”I never thought these people would be Wo Country’s ninjas!” Yin Xianzi took a deep breath and said solemnly, ”Had we known they were Wo Country’s ninjas, we would’ve prepared for their ninjutsu, and they wouldn’t have escaped!”

The strength of these four Wo Country’s ninjas wasn’t particularly strong, just their sudden use of ninjutsu caught everyone off guard, hence they weren’t able to detain them.

”What technique did they just use?” Ding Lianshun asked Helian Tiehua, ”What exactly is that black hole? Its power is so strong?”

”No matter how strong, it was still broken by Ye Qing!” An elder from the Seven Steering Committees of Hong Alliance looked at Ye Qing in surprise; he wasn’t aware of Ye Qing’s possession of the Buddha’s relics. Ye Qing being able to burst the black hole left him visibly shocked.

”Wo Country’s ninjas possess many bizarre techniques; that last move should be their combined attack technique. Specifically what it is, I don’t know!” Helian Tiehua knew about Ye Qing’s abilities, so he was unconcerned and said in a deep voice, ”But the key point is these four Wo Country’s ninjas, what is their background?”

”The two largest ninja clans over in Wo Country are Koga-ryu and Iga-ryu. Iga-ryu has already been completely disbanded, with no experts left. Therefore, the only one with any strength remaining is Koga-ryu!” Ye Qing looked at everyone and said in a deep voice, ”Could it be, that these four people are masters from Koga-ryu?”

”Koga-ryu’s strength is far greater than Iga-ryu’s!” Helian Tiehua said in a deep voice, ”If Koga-ryu is also involved in Huaxia’s affairs, then that could be troublesome!”

”The strange thing is, why didn’t they try to seize the Minghong Knife’s scabbard, or the Heaven Earth Man Three Gates, but instead capture these people?” An elder from the Seven Steering Committees of Hong Alliance questioned curiously, ”Old Wang Ba, and the man from the Yelu Family, what’s their use in capturing them?”

The others weren’t aware of the Yelu Family’s affairs, except Ye Qing who knew best. The Yelu Family was related to the whereabouts of the Xuanyuan Sword; Koga-ryu people capturing the Yelu Family’s members were probably for the Xuanyuan Sword.

Previously Ye Qing didn’t know the true power of the Xuanyuan Sword; after seeing the Minghong Knife’s scabbard, he gained some understanding. The scabbard of Minghong Knife allows unlimited use of Beyond The Pinnacle strength, so does the Xuanyuan Sword have similar functions? Moreover, the Xuanyuan Sword is said to be more powerful than the Minghong Knife, so how terrifying must the Xuanyuan Sword’s power be?

The Wanyan Family was in control of the scabbard of the Minghong Knife, and they dared to challenge the powerful Sword Saint Sect. That was their capital. The Xuanyuan Sword must be an even greater capital. It was only natural that the Koga-ryu would come to seize the Xuanyuan Sword. But, how did they know that the Yelu Family had clues about the Xuanyuan Sword’s whereabouts?

No one could guess the Koga-ryu’s intentions, and soon after, a man from the Yelu Family drove over and took Ye Qing and the others back. Old Wang Ba and his group had already entered the manor earlier and were now being protected by the Bloody Monk, so there was certainly no danger.

Everyone followed the car back, and as they entered the manor, from a distance they saw the manor’s owner standing at the gate, smiling broadly. As the car entered, he, with his corpulent body, jogged alongside the vehicle until it stopped. He then hurriedly opened the door to let everyone out.

”Heh heh, heh heh...” The owner chuckled awkwardly, rubbing his hands together excitedly as he spoke to Huangfu Ziyu, ”Miss, um... that person has been rescued as you said, isn’t it time... time to fulfill what you promised?”

”I know, I’ll give you double!” Huangfu Ziyu waved her hand and said, ”The money is not an issue, as long as you repair our car, I’ll give you the money!”

”No problem, absolutely no problem!” The owner was overjoyed and quickly beckoned to a nearby attendant, ”Quick, call all the repairmen from the town here, bring tire repair tools!”

”All of them?” The attendant was momentarily stunned.

”Is there a problem?” The owner glared at him, and the attendant, frightened, didn’t dare ask more and hurried out to call people.

The owner chuckled and followed the group closely, diligently serving them. It had to be said that the ten thousand yuan from Huangfu Ziyu was indeed a significant temptation, making the owner almost forget he was the boss, behaving entirely like a servant.

Everyone was resigned to the owner’s attitude. Ye Qing waved him away, saying, ”You attend to your own matters, we’re going to rest. Have someone notify us when the car is fixed, and we’ll pay you then!”

Upon hearing about money, the owner immediately nodded and bowed, ”Sure, sure. Don’t worry, I’ll fix the car as soon as possible, there won’t be any problems!”

No one paid him any more mind as they returned to the courtyard, where they saw Old Wang Ba and Old Chen standing by the fish pond from a distance. Old Wang Ba had found a net somewhere and was scooping out fish, while Old Chen stood beside, pointing and directing him to catch this fish and that one.

Seeing them like this, Ye Qing was speechless, ”What are you two doing?”

”Catching some fish to make sashimi!” Old Chen replied.

Damn, you’re still thinking about food? You were almost kidnapped and killed, and you still have the mind to eat? Moreover, you’re quite particular, huh? Sashimi? Why not just eat the scales along with it?

Ye Qing grumbled inwardly but didn’t dare voice it. No choice, Old Chen had a mouth that no one dared to argue with. If you dared to start, he would endlessly keep talking at you, which could drive one insane.

”Eighth Master, who were those people earlier?” Ye Qing asked Old Wang Ba by the fish pond, ”Why did they capture you?”

”How should I know who they were and why they caught us?” Old Wang Ba shrugged, ”Damn, I’m not saying anything. What kind of place did you arrange for us? We had just stayed for a few days when we got caught by those bastards.”

Ye Qing was puzzled. During the last battle in Shenchuan City, knowing that things were dangerous, Ye Qing had already sent his friends and family away to hide temporarily. He had also arranged for the Yelu Family and Old Wang Ba to be hidden. But who could have thought that the Koga-ryu would find and capture them? How did the Koga-ryu know where they were hiding?

”So how did you end up here?” Ye Qing asked casually. This whole thing was indeed coincidental. If those people hadn’t come to this manor, if Old Chen hadn’t fought with them, if Old Chen hadn’t been captured, Ye Qing wouldn’t have known about it and couldn’t have rescued Old Wang Ba and the others.

”Well, it was because I, Eighth Master, calculated you would be here, so I tricked them into coming here!” Old Wang Ba said smugly, ”You have to admit, their IQ is low, and they fell right into it. Hmph, seems like it wasn’t my time to die; I ended up being saved by you all!”

”Didn’t you say you couldn’t calculate my whereabouts?” Ye Qing asked again.

Old Wang Ba: ”Bullshit, I can’t calculate your whereabouts, but I can calculate others, can’t I?”
