Seeing that Fu Qingping had already controlled Hattori Ichiryu, Ye Qing felt a surge of joy in his heart and hurriedly said, ”Master, make him hand over Zi Yu!”

Fu Qingping did not speak but slowly withdrew the Qingping Sword from Hattori Ichiryu’s neck.

”You said earlier you wanted a test. For this sword strike, I won’t kill you!” Fu Qingping coldly stared at Hattori Ichiryu and said, ”But the next strike might not be the same!”

Ye Qing sighed; Fu Qingping’s temperament was just like that. What he said was what he meant, without any flexibility. Earlier, there was such a good opportunity as he had already controlled Hattori Ichiryu, and could have forced him to hand over Huangfu Zi Yu. But Fu Qingping did not do so because, to him, the earlier sword strike was merely a test.

Hattori Ichiryu originally did not believe in Fu Qingping’s strength. After the encounter, he was thoroughly convinced of Fu Qingping’s capability. Killing him would be as easy as turning over a hand. Although that strike was humiliating for him, he dared not say anything further. He simply nodded slowly and said, ”Senior Fu’s sword moves have indeed opened the eyes of this junior!”

Fu Qingping paid no attention to Hattori Ichiryu’s words. He slowly sheathed the Qingping Sword into its sword scabbard and calmly said, ”Hand over Huangfu Zi Yu, then you can leave with your men!”

Although Fu Qingping’s Qingping Sword had been moved away from Hattori Ichiryu’s neck, Hattori Ichiryu knew very well that if he refused, Fu Qingping could definitely kill him within a second, without a doubt. Fu Qingping’s earlier strike had already displayed his strength to Hattori Ichiryu.

”Senior Fu, it’s not that I don’t want to hand over Miss Huangfu; it’s just that Miss Huangfu is not with me but with our Sect Master!” Hattori Ichiryu glanced at Ye Qing and said, ”The Sect Master said that if I can retrieve items from the Tomb of Ghost Valley Master, he’ll release Miss Huangfu. Otherwise, in any other situation, Mr. Ye will never see Miss Huangfu again in this life!”

Ye Qing’s face turned cold; Hattori Ichiryu’s words were clearly a threat. The meaning was very clear: you must ensure I obtain the items from the Tomb of Ghost Valley Master and deliver them to the Iga Ryu Clan Master. Otherwise, even if you kill me, you cannot see Huangfu Zi Yu.

This kind of threat is even more troublesome than other situations. It not only threatens Ye Qing and his companions not to seize the Tomb of Ghost Valley Master but also coerces Ye Qing into helping Wo Country’s Ninja obtain items from the tomb. After all, many eyes are on the Tomb of Ghost Valley Master. Even if Ye Qing and his companions don’t seize it, others will, and Wo Country’s Ninja will have no chance to carry off the items. Hence, to rescue Huangfu Zi Yu, Ye Qing must protect these Wo Country’s Ninja?

”Hmph, your Sect Master has quite the plan!” Ye Qing coldly said, ”According to you, we need to act as your bodyguards?”

”Hehe, it all depends on Mr. Ye’s feelings for Miss Huangfu.” Hattori Ichiryu chuckled and said, ”If Mr. Ye doesn’t care about Miss Huangfu, he could just kill us right here!”

Ye Qing clenched his teeth; how could he not care about Huangfu Zi Yu? Now that Huangfu Zi Yu is in the hands of the Iga Ryu Ninjas, Ye Qing is entirely in a passive position.

Taking a deep breath, Ye Qing said gravely, ”How do I know Zi Yu is truly in your hands right now? You could’ve stolen this Sun Shooting Bow from somewhere else!”

”If you don’t believe it, I can make a call for you to hear Miss Huangfu’s voice yourself.” Hattori Ichiryu smiled, pulled out his phone, and said, ”Mr. Ye, Miss Huangfu is doing well. Our Sect Master admires your strategy; not a single hair of Miss Huangfu will be harmed. However, if we fail to obtain the items from the Tomb of Ghost Valley Master this time, it might anger the Sect Master, and the outcome could be dire!”

”Stop with the nonsense; I need to hear Zi Yu’s voice first!” Ye Qing said through clenched teeth.

Hattori Ichiryu smiled faintly, dialed a number, said a few words in Japanese, and then handed the phone to Ye Qing, saying, ”Mr. Ye, you can talk to Miss Huangfu now!”

Ye Qing quickly grabbed the phone and urgently said, ”Zi Yu! Zi Yu!”

”Ye Zi!” Huangfu Zi Yu’s excited voice came from the other end of the call.

Hearing Huangfu Zi Yu’s voice, Ye Qing’s heart skipped a beat. He hastened to ask, ”Where are you now? How are you? They haven’t done anything to you, right?”

Huangfu Zi Yu quickly replied, ”I’m fine. I don’t know where I am, but they just have me under soft detention. Don’t worry about me!”

”That’s good! That’s good!” Ye Qing let out a sigh of relief and said, ”Zi Yu, don’t worry, I will definitely rescue you, nothing will happen to you, I...”

Ye Qing was about to continue when Hattori Ichiryu came over and snatched the phone from Ye Qing’s hand.

Ye Qing looked angrily at Hattori Ichiryu. Hattori Ichiryu just smiled casually and said, ”Sorry, the Sect Master said that the most important thing is still the items inside the Tomb of Ghost Valley Master. So, Mr. Ye, let’s speed up to avoid delaying the main event!”

Ye Qing gritted his teeth until they creaked. After a long while, he slowly nodded, saying in a deep voice, ”Alright. Tell your Sect Master that he can take the items inside the Tomb of Ghost Valley Master. However, if Zi Yu is even slightly harmed, I will never let him off!”

”That’s great!” Hattori Ichiryu laughed and said, ”Our Sect Master only wants the items inside the Tomb of Ghost Valley Master, and he also wants to make friends with you, Mr. Ye, so how could he harm Miss Huangfu? Rest assured, once we obtain the items inside, the Sect Master will return Miss Huangfu to you unharmed!”

Ye Qing ignored Hattori Ichiryu and looked helplessly at Fu Qingping, saying in a low voice, ”Master, I’m afraid I have to trouble you this time!”

Fu Qingping’s expression was calm as he slowly looked at the rocky mountain behind and said, ”So, it seems we need to deal with these people from the Church first!”

The people from the Church were also here, definitely intending to compete for the items inside the Tomb of Ghost Valley Master. By saying this, Fu Qingping was essentially telling Ye Qing that he would definitely help him!

Ye Qing was very grateful, knowing that this time, if he helped the Wo Country’s Ninja obtain the items inside the Tomb of Ghost Valley Master, it would be extremely dangerous for Huaxia. Even if Fu Qingping didn’t help him, it would be understandable. However, Fu Qingping still helped him, which deeply moved Ye Qing.

Hattori Ichiryu wanted exactly this outcome. He smiled slightly and said, ”These people from the Church are like flies, constantly following us. Driving them away first would be the best course of action. Senior Fu, we would be grateful for your assistance!”

Fu Qingping didn’t speak. He slowly raised the Qingping Sword in his hand. Even before he drew the longsword, the members of the Church hidden behind the boulders suddenly rushed out. However, they weren’t charging up the hill but instead were running down the mountain. These people weren’t fools; having seen Fu Qingping’s attack on Hattori Ichiryu just now, they realized Fu Qingping’s strength. How could they wait for Fu Qingping to make a move?

Seeing the Church’s people leave, Fu Qingping did not pursue them. He sheathed the Qingping Sword and said, ”Now we can open the Tomb of Ghost Valley Master, right?”

”Of course, of course!” Hattori Ichiryu laughed, turned around, and gestured to the people behind him to start opening the Tomb of Ghost Valley Master.

Ye Qing stood by, watching Hattori Ichiryu holding the Sun Shooting Bow, feeling extremely frustrated. He finally realized what Hattori Ichiryu relied on—it turned out they had captured Huangfu Ziyu. Hattori Ichiryu knew about Ye Qing’s feelings for Huangfu Ziyu and used her to threaten Ye Qing, a situation Ye Qing couldn’t refuse. Originally, Ye Qing wanted to use the Wo Country’s Ninja to open the Tomb of Ghost Valley Master, but it backfired, becoming him being used by the Wo Country’s Ninja to protect them as they contended for the items inside the tomb. These Wo Country’s Ninjas indeed were cunning!

”Hattori Ichiryu, can you return the Sun Shooting Bow to me first?” After watching for a while, Ye Qing couldn’t help but ask in a deep voice. The Sun Shooting Bow belonged to Huangfu Ziyu, and having it in Hattori Ichiryu’s hands made Ye Qing uncomfortable.

”Why not?” Hattori Ichiryu laughed heartily and tossed the Sun Shooting Bow to Ye Qing. He was so generous because the Sun Shooting Bow was useless to him since he couldn’t wield it. It was better to return it to Ye Qing as a gesture of goodwill.

Ye Qing caught the Sun Shooting Bow and sighed with frustration. This time, Huangfu Ziyu falling into the hands of the Wo Country’s Ninja was the most troublesome situation Ye Qing had ever faced. After all, the Wo Country’s Ninja were ruthless, and Ye Qing had no idea where their headquarters were located. Finding Huangfu Ziyu was no easy task. For now, the plan was to take it step by step, temporarily assisting Hattori Ichiryu in seizing the Tomb of Ghost Valley Master to ensure Huangfu Ziyu’s safety as a priority.

The ninjas had already laid out all one hundred and eight Famed Instruments. Now, a few ninjas stepped out, slowly walking among the circle of Famed Instruments, their purpose unknown. In any case, they cooperatively traversed the positions of the one hundred and eight Famed Instruments, then simultaneously leaped back.

As these people jumped back, the one hundred and eight Famed Instruments began to tremble slowly. It felt like an earthquake, with all the Famed Instruments shaking, looking very strange!

At this moment, Fu Qingping, who had his eyes closed, suddenly opened them wide, staring directly at the one hundred and eight Famed Instruments, and said in a deep voice, ”A force beneath has been awakened!”
