Urban Martial Saint

At noon the next day, as previously agreed, Ye Qing and Fu Qingping set off together to the airport to wait for the flight to the Capital.

This time, Ye Qing really intended to leave Shenchuan City with Fu Qingping on a plane, as he truly wanted the Great Lord to take the Gold Silk Armor, and take Wen’er along as well. Only if the Great Lord takes the Gold Silk Armor will he not kill Ye Jun. And only if the Great Lord takes Wen’er too, can Ye Qing execute his subsequent plans.

Moreover, Ye Qing placed a micro tracker on Wen’er. Even if the Great Lord kidnaps Wen’er, or Japan’s ninjas seize Wen’er, Ye Qing has no reason to worry. By following the tracker, Ye Qing can easily find Wen’er, so he and Fu Qingping have no need to stay in Shenchuan City.

While Ye Qing and Fu Qingping were at the airport waiting for the plane, a few people inside the airport were quietly watching them too. These people included intelligence personnel from the Church stationed in Huaxia, as well as Japanese ninjas’ intelligence agents in Huaxia. These Japanese ninjas and Church people alike needed to confirm whether Fu Qingping really boarded the plane, as they were all equally apprehensive of him. Only when Fu Qingping boarded the plane and left Shenchuan City would they dare to act to seize the Gold Silk Armor. To be safe, they even sent someone to board the plane with Ye Qing to ensure they were actually leaving by plane.

According to the scheduled time, Ye Qing and Fu Qingping boarded the plane directly. Although they knew they were being followed, they didn’t care because this was exactly the effect they wanted.

Shortly after Ye Qing and Fu Qingping boarded the plane, a black car drove up outside the Hong Alliance Seven Helmsman Manor in Shenchuan City. In the car were the Great Lord, a subordinate from the Church, and Ye Jun, who was controlled by the Great Lord.

Actually, the Great Lord had arrived in Shenchuan City earlier, lurking outside the Hong Alliance Seven Helmsman Manor. After receiving the news that Ye Qing and Fu Qingping had boarded the plane and left, he had no more concerns and drove openly to the manor. As soon as the vehicle reached the manor gate, the manor gate opened, and a man came out, speaking fluent English: ”Is it the Great Lord from the Church? Mr. Ye has instructed me to take the Great Lord to meet Miss Wen’er!”

The Great Lord did not expect Ye Qing to have arranged someone to receive him, and while surprised, he also became more vigilant, suspecting that Ye Qing might have set up some trap inside the manor.

”Hmph, Ye’s arrangements are quite excellent!” The Great Lord said coldly: ”Don’t play any tricks on me; just have Wen’er bring out the Gold Silk Armor. I don’t have time to wander around his manor!”

The man said: ”Mr. Ye stated that the Great Lord need not worry because, for his brother’s safety, Mr. Ye wouldn’t set traps inside the manor. So the Great Lord can enter the manor with peace of mind.”

The Great Lord couldn’t help feeling a bit embarrassed as the man discerned his inner worries. Although these words made him quite displeased, after suffering so many losses in Huaxia, he had long put aside his dignity; surviving is the most crucial thing.

”No need for idle talk, bring Wen’er out with the Gold Silk Armor now, or I’ll first cripple his brother’s hand!” The Great Lord said sternly.

”Mr. Ye also said that if the Great Lord truly doesn’t wish to enter the manor, we won’t insist. Great Lord, please wait a moment, I’ll go in and invite Miss Wen’er out.” After saying this, the man headed straight into the manor.

The Great Lord stood outside, his face extremely embarrassed. Every word the man said was clearly instructed by Ye Qing. This meant that Ye Qing anticipated that he wouldn’t enter the manor before leaving, which shocked him with Ye Qing’s astuteness and left him feeling extremely embarrassed. Not daring to enter the manor and risk danger, having lost so many subordinates already made him extremely cautious!

Not long after, the man returned with Wen’er. She held two items in her hands, the Dragon Blood Wood-locked Gold Silk Armor, and the key to unlock the Dragon Blood Wood.

The Great Lord had seen the depictions of these objects in the Church, so he recognized them at first glance. Seeing the Gold Silk Armor, a hint of greed flashed in his eyes, and he almost rushed over to seize it. However, standing outside the manor, he still didn’t dare act rashly, fearing it might be a trap and thus dangerous.

”Is this the Gold Silk Armor?” the Great Lord said coldly: ”How can you prove this is the Gold Silk Armor?”

Upon hearing the man’s translation, Wen’er directly used the key to unlock the Dragon Blood Wood and take out the Gold Silk Armor within. Wen’er casually placed the Gold Silk Armor in the air, and it floated lightly as if it had no weight.

Seeing this, the Great Lord’s eyes nearly popped out. Even a wisp of cotton placed in the air would slowly fall. Yet, the Gold Silk Armor floated in the air with no tendency to fall; it seemed weightless. What material could replicate such a thing? Undoubtedly, this must be the real Gold Silk Armor!

”Give it to me!” the Great Lord shouted hoarsely, ignoring the danger, and dashed forward to snatch the Gold Silk Armor into his hands.

There were only Wen’er and the man here. Although Wen’er knew martial arts, she wasn’t strong enough. As for the man, he was even less so than Wen’er, let alone go up to seize the Gold Silk Armor. Watching helplessly as the Great Lord took the Gold Silk Armor, the two of them had no way to stop him.

The Great Lord held the Gold Silk Armor in his hand, feeling even more of its weightlessness. This made him more excited, as he had finally obtained the Gold Silk Armor, achieving a great merit. With such an accomplishment, even if everyone around him died, he would absolutely not be punished upon returning to the Church; he would be rewarded instead.

Wen’er looked at the Great Lord and said in a serious tone, ”You have the Gold Silk Armor now. It’s time to return Ye Jun!”

”You haven’t told me how to use the Gold Silk Armor to find the Tomb of Ghost Valley Master yet, and you want to exchange it for Ye Jun?” The Great Lord sneered, ”Do you think that’s possible?”

”Return Ye Jun to me, and I’ll tell you how to use the Gold Silk Armor to find the Tomb of Ghost Valley Master!” Wen’er replied seriously.

”Hahaha...” The Great Lord laughed loudly, ”So, you’re threatening me now?”

”I’m not threatening; we’re just acting according to our agreement,” Wen’er said. ”I gave you the Gold Silk Armor, you return Ye Jun, and then I tell you how to find the Tomb of Ghost Valley Master with it. That way, we’re even. Now that you have the Gold Silk Armor but refuse to return Ye Jun, isn’t that a bit dishonest?”

”Honest?” The Great Lord coldly glanced at Wen’er and said, ”Is it you who’s talking to me about honesty, or is it Ye Qing?”

Wen’er said, ”Big Brother Ye made an agreement with you...”

”So it’s Ye Qing talking to me about honesty!” The Great Lord interrupted Wen’er, saying coldly, ”Hmph, what right does Ye Qing have to talk to me about honesty? He previously said he would help me get the Healing Holy Medicine. And what happened? He deceived our people into the Demon Hideout Cave, killing many of my men. Then he brought Fu Qingping, killing many members of the Church, yet he still hasn’t given me the Healing Holy Medicine. How can he even speak the words ’honesty’?”

”Great Lord, don’t forget that Big Brother Ye said if you killed Nalan Jingwei, he would give you the Healing Holy Medicine,” Wen’er said seriously. ”Besides, Big Brother Ye didn’t deceive you; the Healing Holy Medicine is indeed in the Demon Hideout Cave. It’s just that you don’t have the capability to obtain it. Can you really blame Big Brother Ye for that?”

The Great Lord’s face turned slightly red at her words, clutching the Gold Silk Armor tightly, saying in a stern voice, ”Enough talk. I’ll ask one more time, are you going to tell me how to find the Tomb of Ghost Valley Master or not?”

”Return Ye Jun to me, and I’ll tell you immediately!” Wen’er replied.

”Hmph, what right do you have to speak to me like that? You don’t say, do you think I can’t find out?” The Great Lord said as he suddenly lunged at Wen’er, grabbing her and pulling her in front of him.

Wen’er had no power to resist in front of the Great Lord. The man beside her was so stunned by the situation that he was somewhat at a loss.

”I’ll take you back to the Church and interrogate you slowly. I don’t believe you can keep this secret!” the Great Lord said coldly.

”You’re despicable!” Wen’er shouted angrily, ”I should’ve known better than to give you the Gold Silk Armor.”

”Little girl, you’re too naïve.” The Great Lord sneered, ”If you didn’t give me the Gold Silk Armor, do you think I wouldn’t have taken it by force? Even if you had told me the method to find the Tomb of Ghost Valley Master just now, I’d still take you away. Who knows if the method you tell me is true or false?”

As the Great Lord spoke, he glanced at the man and said, ”Tell Ye Qing for me, I’m taking this little girl and the Gold Silk Armor. If he wants to redeem his brother and this little girl, he better bring the Buddha’s Relic and the Healing Holy Medicine in exchange. Otherwise, he can wait to collect their bodies!”

After saying this, the Great Lord took Wen’er and swaggered into the car behind, continuously letting out cold laughs, completely in control. In fact, after obtaining the Gold Silk Armor, he was already excited and arrogant, completely unaware of the unusual situation.

On the other side, behind a distant rock, the Executioner Scholar quietly said, ”Now that we have both the items and the person in hand, can we act now?”

”Not just yet, wait until they leave Shenchuan City!” Nalan Jingwei said with a cold smile, ”Let’s see if Ye Qing has any preparations. I feel that things won’t be this simple; this isn’t Ye Qing’s style!”
