Urban Martial Saint

Looking at the Executioner Scholar, Wanyan Hongsheng sneered coldly and said, ”Since you’re cooperating with us, I might as well tell you. We never intended to compete for the Golden Silk Armor.”

”Ah?” The Executioner Scholar was taken aback and looked at the two, exclaiming, ”The Golden Silk Armor is linked to the Tomb of Ghost Valley Master. Aren’t you all going to fight for it? It’s said that the greatest secrets of Heaven Earth Man Three Gates are hidden inside. Moreover, the most crucial thing is, there’s a chance that the ultimate secret techniques of the Taoist Sect are hidden inside. If the tomb is opened, it basically equates to mastering Heaven Earth Man Three Gates!”

”We know what you said. We know more about the situation inside the Tomb of Ghost Valley Master than you do. You must know that the Golden Silk Armor has been in our possession for nearly a thousand years,” Wanyan Hongsheng said. ”However, holding onto the Golden Silk Armor means nothing to us. It only becomes useful when in the hands of those Japanese ninjas!”

”Why?” The Executioner Scholar was again surprised. Of course, he did not know that the Japanese ninjas could open the Tomb of Ghost Valley Master.

Wanyan Hongsheng explained the specific situation to him. After hearing Wanyan Hongsheng’s words, the Executioner Scholar couldn’t help but become overjoyed, exclaiming excitedly, ”So, we only need to follow these Japanese ninjas to not only find the Tomb of Ghost Valley Master but also open it and acquire what’s inside!”

”Not only that!” Wanyan Hongsheng said in a deep voice, ”Ye Qing is certainly using these Japanese ninjas, so Ye Qing and Fu Qingping will definitely try to seize the Tomb of Ghost Valley Master. By then, everyone will rush over, and that’ll be just the time to avenge you!”

”Fu Qingping will also go?” The Executioner Scholar was shocked again, looking at the two, ”You... you have a way to kill Fu Qingping?”

”Heh heh...” The two sneered simultaneously. They were already prepared; The Immortal Lord was ready to come over at any time. And the Blood Coffin of the Corpse Ghost Dragon was also ready to set off. By then, with the current restored strength of The Immortal Lord, killing Fu Qingping wouldn’t be a difficult task.

The Executioner Scholar remained silent, knowing little about the strength of the Wanyan Family. However, since Wanyan Hongsheng dared to say such words, it certainly was not without reason. After all, that was Fu Qingping; if they weren’t absolutely confident of killing Fu Qingping, Fu Qingping would definitely kill them instead. So, these people would surely not be going to sacrifice themselves, meaning that the Wanyan Family was very confident in this battle.

Wanyan Hongsheng looked at the Executioner Scholar and said, ”Executioner Scholar, there’s a task I need you to undertake. If you complete it, then our cooperation will be no problem!”

The Executioner Scholar’s heart skipped a beat. He knew that if he couldn’t complete this task, it would mean he had no value, and cooperation would be unnecessary.

”What task?” The Executioner Scholar asked.

”Very simple — follow those Japanese ninjas!” Wanyan Hongsheng said, ”You are allied with Nalan Jingwei. If you track those ninjas, they absolutely wouldn’t suspect that our Wanyan Family is involved, especially since they are avoiding our family. Therefore, our family can’t act directly to track them down, but you can follow them, which is most suitable. Even if they find you out, they’ll only assume you and Nalan Jingwei are unwilling to give up on the Golden Silk Armor, without any other ideas!”

The Executioner Scholar pondered slightly, recalling the situation of Nalan Jingwei, who seemed to have been injured. The other side had six or seven peak masters, which was indeed somewhat dangerous. However, merely tracking them seemed a bit safer. After all, in the event of danger, he could still turn and escape. Though he might not be able to fight them, fleeing probably wouldn’t be too difficult.

”Alright!” The Executioner Scholar agreed directly, ”I’ll help you track them!”

Wanyan Hongsheng and Wanyan Second Master exchanged glances, a subtle, hard-to-detect sneer passing through their eyes. In truth, the Seventh Elder among those Japanese ninjas was from the Wanyan Family. Getting the ninjas’ whereabouts was incredibly easy and did not require tracking. The reason they wanted the Executioner Scholar to follow them was to probe the situation on Ye Qing’s side and to draw Ye Qing’s people out to begin planning a targeted move against him.

After the Japanese ninjas took the Golden Silk Armor and Ye Jun Wen’er, they did not linger in the woods but left hastily, finding the place where they had parked, and drove away from this area. After traveling over a hundred kilometers, they arrived at a nearby city, proceeding to a secluded manor in the suburbs.

This manor was a stronghold of the Japanese ninjas in Huaxia, with most people here being Huaxia countrymen, though the owner was Japanese. This owner was deeply hidden, and thus no one knew his identity; people merely thought it was an ordinary manor.

The owner had received the news long before, so when the cars entered the manor, they went directly to the underground garage. The owner had already sent away the people in the garage and personally led them to a secret room.

As soon as they entered the secret room, the Great Lord immediately opened the bag from his back, taking out the Golden Silk Armor inside.

The Golden Silk Armor was still sealed by Dragon Blood Wood, and everyone surrounding it stared fixedly. The Japanese ninjas had made considerable efforts for the Tomb of Ghost Valley Master. They had mastered the method to open it, but had never been able to find the tomb, delaying their plans. Now, with the Golden Silk Armor finally at hand and the opening of the tomb imminent, everyone was naturally very excited.

”Great Elder, is this really the Golden Silk Armor?” a ninja asked in a low voice.

”Could it be fake?” another ninja replied, ”The Great Lord personally verified it and almost risked his life for this Golden Silk Armor; it must be genuine!”

”The Great Lord might not know whether it’s real,” yet another ninja said.

Everyone gathered around the Golden Silk Armor, discussing its authenticity. The Great Elder smiled slightly and used the Dragon Blood Wood’s key to open its seal, taking out the armor, and then said softly, ”Verifying whether the Golden Silk Armor is real is very simple. Just put it in the air; if it floats, then it’s genuine!”

Saying this, the Great Lord casually placed the Golden Silk Armor in the air, and it indeed floated.

Witnessing this, everyone’s eyes widened. Undoubtedly, this was the real Golden Silk Armor. What else could hover in the air? There was simply no material like that in this world!

”It’s truly the Golden Silk Armor!” the Seventh Elder marveled with genuine respect.

”Great Elder, how can this Golden Silk Armor float in the air?” a ninja asked in surprise, ”It seems weightless; what’s going on?”

”You’re mistaken; it isn’t weightless. The material of the armor is special!” The Great Elder took it back in his hand and said, ”I have researched many materials and discovered that its material is the same as that of the Sun Shooting Bow — it belongs to magnetic metal!”

”Magnetic metal?” Everyone looked at the Great Elder in astonishment, asking curiously, ”What magnetic metal?”

”It’s metal containing magnetism,” the Great Elder explained, ”You know, the Earth has its magnetism, with north and south poles, though it’s usually not noticeable. It’s evident with a compass, proving Earth’s magnetism exists. This magnetic metal is peculiar; though called magnetic metal, it could more accurately be described as anti-magnetic metal, opposing Earth’s magnetism. This opposition creates a resistance, allowing it to float as if it were weightless!”

Everyone listened, dumbfounded by the scientific explanation. They hadn’t thought of such things nor heard of them. The Great Elder’s words shocked them, as no one imagined such magnetic metal could exist on Earth.

”Great Elder, did you deduce this yourself, or did you read it somewhere?” the Seventh Elder couldn’t help but ask, being a member of the Wanyan Family, unfamiliar with these matters. Listening to the Great Elder, he was naturally astonished and curious about the theory’s origin.

”I deduced these from various materials,” the Great Elder replied, ”Indeed, Huaxia’s records contain not a few such items. For instance, Huaxia’s most revered famed instrument, the Xuanyuan Sword, was said to have cut through the sky upon its forging. The Minghong Knife could also float in the air. These are real, and alongside the Sun Shooting Bow and Golden Silk Armor, one must suspect such magnetic metal’s existence!”

The Seventh Elder took a deep breath, exclaiming, ”So, Xuanyuan Sword and Minghong Knife share material with the Sun Shooting Bow and Golden Silk Armor?”

”You could say that.” The Great Elder nodded, ”Huaxia’s records note that the Xuanyuan Sword and Minghong Knife were forged by the Xuanyuan Yellow Emperor from Shou Mountain Copper. But do you know what Shou Mountain is? Do you know where it is?”

Everyone looked at each other. Such mythological matters naturally were unclear to them.

Seeing their expressions, the Great Elder smiled again and said, ”From some of the classics I’ve read, it’s clearly recorded that in ancient times, Shou Mountain was a floating mountain!”
