Urban Martial Saint

”What’s going on again?” Officer Zou hurriedly asked.

The subordinate took a deep breath and said, ”Officer, those two people took less than five minutes from entering this courtyard to leaving. In other words, they killed fifteen mercenaries in that five-minute period. Besides the initial few shots fired, the remaining mercenaries didn’t put up a fight, or didn’t even have time to resist and were directly killed by them. Furthermore, these mercenaries were extremely scattered across three floors, ten rooms, and adding the five mercenaries downstairs, all of them were killed within five minutes. In five minutes, these two not only had to kill but also move across ten rooms upstairs and downstairs. Officer, this is beyond human capability!”

Zou Huanglong also took a deep breath. He had been immersed in shock earlier, and now, hearing his subordinate’s analysis, he thoroughly understood what true shock felt like. As a former soldier himself, he naturally realized how terrifying such speed was. To think they were facing a group of well-equipped and highly skilled mercenaries, and in five minutes, across three floors and ten rooms, fifteen individuals were taken out—can a human truly accomplish this?

After a moment of silence, Zou Huanglong suddenly slapped his head and said, ”Oh my goodness, what am I doing here. You guys, quickly seal off the scene and send people to clean it up, you’re mainly responsible for this side.”

While giving instructions, Zou Huanglong began running out. Before he finished speaking, he had already run out of the courtyard. He glanced around and saw Ye Qing standing not far away, quickly rushing over. Even though the distance wasn’t great, he was panting heavily from running too fast.

”Ye... Mr. Ye...” This time, Zou Huanglong’s expression when looking at Ye Qing had the feeling of seeing a deity. That Ye Qing had truly dealt with this batch of mercenaries so effortlessly was something he couldn’t have dreamed of.

”How’s it going?” Ye Qing smiled and asked, ”Are there any mercenaries left inside?”

”No!” Zou Huanglong quickly smiled and said, ”Our people have already confirmed it, all mercenaries inside have been dealt with. Mr. Ye, the two individuals who went in just now are truly... truly skilled!”

”It’s alright.” Ye Qing lightly smiled and said, ”As long as there are no mercenaries left, Officer Zou, the cleanup here is in your hands!”

”That’s what we should do!” Zou Huanglong smiled, looked around to ensure no one was nearby, leaned closer to Ye Qing, and cautiously whispered, ”Mr. Ye, those two comrades, how... how exactly did they deal with those mercenaries? Five minutes, across three floors, ten rooms, fifteen mercenaries—all killed, this... this is beyond human capability.”

Ye Qing felt a bit awkward, unsure of how to explain martial arts to Zou Huanglong. The martial arts of Yin Xianzi and Ding Lianshun now truly seemed like divine powers in the eyes of ordinary people, the feats they accomplished were indeed beyond ordinary human capacity.

Seeing Ye Qing’s silence, Zou Huanglong whispered again, ”Mr. Ye, is it... is it special abilities?”

Ye Qing was contemplating how to explain when he suddenly heard Zou Huanglong say this. His eyes lit up instantly, and he smiled, ”Yes, yes, you’re right, it is indeed special abilities. These two are special ability masters I specially invited!”

”I see!” Zou Huanglong suddenly understood, looking as though he grasped everything, enviously said, ”I’ve heard of special ability masters, but never seen them, always felt they were myths made up by people. Unexpectedly, I had the chance to witness them this time, truly profound!”

”It’s alright.” Ye Qing smiled and said, ”Officer Zou, if nothing else, we’ll move to the next place to continue handling these mercenary matters.”

”Leaving so soon?” Zou Huanglong hurriedly said, ”Mr. Ye, now that you’re here, why not stay a couple of days? Why rush to leave?”

”You know how troublesome these mercenary matters are, we must handle them quickly. So, time is tight, I’m afraid we can’t afford delays.” Ye Qing smiled and said, ”By the way, Officer Zou, have our plane tickets been booked?”

”Ah, I forgot about it! Sorry, sorry!” Zou Huanglong slapped his head, realizing he had truly forgotten. When Ye Qing went inside, he was worried about potential mishaps, not having thought about booking plane tickets for Ye Qing.

”Oh, that’s fine, I can book them now, it’s still timely!” Ye Qing laughed.

”No, no, no.” Zou Huanglong quickly waved his hand, turned, and instructed a subordinate to go to the airport to book tickets using the military department’s identity.

”Mr. Ye, leave the ticket booking to us, you can rest a bit, the tickets will arrive soon.” Zou Huanglong looked apologetic and said, ”Really sorry, I was too preoccupied with the mercenary matters earlier, completely forgot about this, very embarrassed.”

”No problem, no need to be polite.” Ye Qing smiled, having noticed. When they first arrived, Zou Huanglong’s attitude towards them wasn’t good, even questioning their ability to accomplish the task. But now, witnessing the power of Ding Lianshun and Yin Xianzi, Zou Huanglong immediately became much more respectful, treating Ye Qing with the utmost courtesy.

However, while Zou Huanglong was talking to Ye Qing, his eyes kept glancing over at Ding Lianshun and Yin Xianzi. After all, in his view, these two were the true special ability experts, and Ye Qing was merely a member of the State Security Department. No matter how high Ye Qing’s rank was, it couldn’t compare to the attractiveness of those two special ability experts.

”Mr. Ye, these... these two special ability masters, are they members of the State Security Department?” Zou Huanglong asked.

”No, they’re my friends, I invited them to help.” Ye Qing replied.

”Oh.” Zou Huanglong nodded, opened his mouth several times as if wanting to say something, but hesitated and didn’t speak.

Seeing him like this, Ye Qing asked curiously, ”Officer Zou, is there something you need?”

”Uh, it’s... it’s nothing really important...” Zou Huanglong scratched his head, full of embarrassment. After a long while, he mumbled in a low voice, ”Mr. Ye, I... I wonder if I could go over and have a chat with those two masters?”

”I’m afraid that might not be convenient.” Ye Qing shook his head and said, ”You know, masters generally have peculiar temperaments and they don’t like to engage with outsiders.”

”Oh.” Zou Huanglong’s face showed utter disappointment, like a deflated balloon.

Seeing Zou Huanglong like this, Ye Qing knew there was definitely something on his mind. Since there was nothing else to do, Ye Qing, out of boredom, casually asked, ”Officer Zou, is there something you want to ask them for help with?”

”Well... well...” Zou Huanglong mumbled for quite a while and then said in a low voice, ”Mr. Ye, I... I heard that experts with special abilities can heal people from a distance, is... is that true?”

”Are you feeling unwell?” Ye Qing looked at Zou Huanglong and suddenly asked, ”Do you often have pain three fingers above your lower abdomen?”

”Three fingers above the lower abdomen?” Zou Huanglong gestured on his stomach and said, ”Oh my, Mr. Ye, how did you know? This area indeed often pains me.”

”Especially when you’re hungry?” Ye Qing asked again.

”Yes!” Zou Huanglong’s eyes changed as he looked at Ye Qing and said, ”Mr. Ye, you’re completely right. Every time I’m hungry, it hurts more. I’ve consulted doctors, and they’ve said I have stomach inflammation that requires medication and dietary restrictions. But I really love spicy food, not eating it is like a death sentence for me. Asking me to restrict my diet is impossible, so the stomach just keeps getting worse.”

Ye Qing smiled and said, ”Your problem is actually quite common.”

”I know.” Zou Huanglong paused and whispered, ”For others, it might be easier to treat, but for me, this illness is truly a killer. Without dietary restrictions, this won’t ever be cured. So, this has been bothering me for over ten years now. I heard people say those with special abilities can heal from afar, more effective than medicine, but I don’t know if that’s true. Mr. Ye, you... you know these two masters well, do you think you could... you could ask them to...”

Zou Huanglong started to mumble the rest, indeed feeling somewhat embarrassed, especially since he previously thought Ye Qing was a fraud, and now he was seeking Ye Qing’s help, leaving him at a loss for words.

”For such a small matter, no need to consult them.” Ye Qing laughed and said, ”Here, let me check your pulse first!”

”Ah?” Zou Huanglong was surprised and said, ”Mr. Ye, you know how to diagnose conditions?”

”A little.” Ye Qing chuckled.

Zou Huanglong extended his hand to let Ye Qing check his pulse, yet he still had Yin Xianzi and Ding Lianshun on his mind. In his view, medical doctors were ineffective for his condition; only masters with special abilities were truly useful.

Ye Qing checked Zou Huanglong’s pulse for a while, nodded slightly, and said, ”Officer Zou, your illness is quite severe. Your stomach lining is starting to ulcerate. If it’s not treated soon, you might need surgery!”

”What?” Zou Huanglong widened his eyes in alarm and asked, ”It’s that serious?”

”There’s no other way, you’ve never controlled your diet, so it keeps getting worse.” Ye Qing replied.

”Then... could those two masters... possibly check it for me?” Zou Huanglong asked hastily.

”No need.” Ye Qing smiled and said, ”Officer Zou, could you lift your shirt a bit?”

”For what?” Zou Huanglong was puzzled but obediently lifted his shirt.

Without saying a word, Ye Qing suddenly extended two fingers and pressed directly onto Zou Huanglong’s lower abdomen.

”Hey?” Zou Huanglong was taken aback and wanted to retreat, but Ye Qing held him firmly.
