Urban Martial Saint

As soon as Prince Wan Yan and his people left the Master Craft mansion, Prince Wan Yan ordered his subordinates to fully search for Handsome Fatty Wang. Because even he suspected that Handsome Fatty Wang had stolen the three genuine articles, pursuing him was the key issue.

As for Ye Qing, Prince Wan Yan had a deep hatred for him, feeling eager to kill him quickly. However, for him, the most crucial thing was the Gold Silk Armor, and the hatred could be temporarily put aside. Furthermore, the Southern Six Provinces are now full of skilled individuals, with both Prince Nalan and Helian Tiehua present, and the Bloody Monk stationed right in Shenchuan City, so he dared not venture to Shenchuan City to look for Ye Qing, as that would be no different from seeking death.

Therefore, Prince Wan Yan decided to temporarily abandon his plans of dealing with Ye Qing. For him, the most important thing was to restore his country in Fusang. Personal grudges could all be set aside as well.

Just after Prince Wan Yan made all his arrangements, Ye Qing also arrived at a city near Tianfu City, from where he flew back to Shenchuan City.

According to the original plan, he had hidden the three genuine articles in a very secluded place in Shenchuan City, and then left the city with a bunch of counterfeits. Although for now, this had shifted everyone’s attention to Handsome Fatty Wang, he felt it necessary to confuse the public even further by sending out all these counterfeits to distract Prince Wan Yan’s forces.

But in fact, shortly after Ye Qing left Shenchuan City, he received very important news: a few monks had entered Shenchuan City and had even kidnapped Li Lianshan!

In Shenchuan City, originally filled with experts, inexplicably, in the past two days, the Bloody Monk suddenly left with the Sha Men people, for some unknown affair. And as for the Seven Rudders of the Hong Alliance, Ao Wuchang had already gone out for business and was not in Shenchuan City temporarily. Moreover, two days ago, he had also called Aomuhan out. As for Chen San Chen Si, they left with Aomuhan as well. Which means that now in Shenchuan City, there are no skilled individuals on guard.

And precisely at this time, those monks invaded Shenchuan City and kidnapped Li Lianshan. It was Du Tianyi of the Xingyi School who pursued them, but even Du Tianyi was no match for those monks and was severely injured. The situation in Shenchuan City was very dire.

Upon receiving this message, Ye Qing did not hesitate at all and immediately flew back to Shenchuan City. From the moment he received the message to his return to Shenchuan City, it took less than three hours in total.

When Ye Qing arrived at Li Lianshan’s villa, Zhao Chengshuang and others were waiting anxiously, walking in circles out of worry. After all, those monks were not weak, while they themselves were just ordinary people, completely helpless in this situation. Even if Zhao Chengshuang wanted to send the police to handle the case, it was impossible, because the suspects were monks. Moreover, those monks were no longer in Shenchuan City, so he couldn’t deploy people across locales.

Seeing Ye Qing return, Zhao Chengshuang immediately rushed over, exclaiming urgently, ”Ye Zi, you’re finally back. Quick, quick, Old Li has been kidnapped for almost four hours, you need to find a way to rescue him. From my observation, those monks don’t even look like monks, probably ruthless killers. Two of our brothers have been beaten to death by them. I’m afraid Old Li’s in grave danger in their hands!”

Ye Qing took a deep breath and said in a deep voice, ”Where have those monks taken Old Li?”

”I’ve already checked all the surveillance. We can now pinpoint their general location. But we don’t know exactly how many of them there are, nor do we know how many people we should send from our side,” Zhao Chengshuang paused and continued, ”And the strength of these monks seems considerable, even Du Tianyi was badly injured. I truly hesitate to send people over, if a fight breaks out, who knows how many of us might be killed!”

”Understood!” Ye Qing slowly nodded and said solemnly, ”Give me the location, I’ll go find them now.”

”You’re going alone?” Zhao Chengshuang was taken aback, looking worriedly at Ye Qing, ”Should I send some people to assist you?”

”No need.” Ye Qing shook his head and said firmly, ”Since these people kidnapped Old Li instead of causing a massacre here, it shows they have a motive. I’ll check their intentions first. Besides, if a fight does break out, if I decide to run, they won’t be able to catch me!”

Zhao Chengshuang said, ”I’ll send some people to stay hidden, ready to help you, how about that?”

Ye Qing shook his head, as this was an affair among martial artists, and he didn’t want to involve those who couldn’t fight, leading them to being killed uselessly. Thus, he decided to go alone to confront these monks.

Seeing Ye Qing’s determination, Zhao Chengshuang sighed and gave the location of those monks to Ye Qing.

Ye Qing wasted no time and drove straight to where those monks were hiding.

In fact, Zhao Chengshuang only had a rough idea. Based on the surveillance, these monks had taken Li Lianshan straight to a neighboring city and were hiding in an abandoned factory area on the outskirts. As for precisely where in the factory area they were, that was unknown.

Ye Qing drove and took about an hour and a half before he reached the outside of this factory area. He didn’t know how many monks were inside, nor whether there were guards outside. So, he boldly drove straight into the factory area, sparing himself the effort of searching one spot at a time.

Sure enough, as soon as Ye Qing drove into the factory, some minor commotion could be heard inside, indicating there were indeed people hidden here.

Ye Qing got out of the car and walked directly towards the direction of the sound, calling out loudly, ”Esteemed monks, Ye Qing is here, can we talk?”

After a while, a monk emerged from a distant warehouse. It was Weiye. He looked at Ye Qing from afar, his eyes instantly seething with rage, pointing at Ye Qing and roaring, ”It’s you, I’ll kill you!”

Weiye charged toward Ye Qing, immediately followed by three others rushing out with him.

Ye Qing didn’t show any intention of dodging. As Weiye rushed close, Ye Qing tapped his toes on the ground, and he sprang up like a cunning rabbit, landing right in front of Weiye. As Weiye was caught off guard, Ye Qing had already grabbed his neck, lifting him off the ground, meanwhile holding a dagger to Weiye’s throat, the chilling threat making Weiye shiver with fear.

”Nobody move!” Ye Qing shouted.

The three monks who had rushed over were startled at this sight, indeed not daring to make any move.

In fact, this move was premeditated by Ye Qing, as confronting many opponents alone was indeed dangerous. On his way, he had secretly planned to seize a hostage to make an exchange for Li Lianshan. Unexpectedly, things went smoothly; Weiye practically delivered himself, just right for Ye Qing to capture, giving him a hostage immediately.

”Release him, or our Buddha will ensure you have no burial ground!” A loud shout came from within the warehouse, followed by seven or eight monks stepping out.

Leading them were three old monks, all advanced in years, and it was one of them who had shouted. The other monks also glared at Ye Qing, their hostility clearly evident.

Judging from these monks’ attire, Ye Qing guessed they were definitely related to the strange monks who had previously kidnapped those children. Last time, Ye Qing had only injured two of them, whereas these people had killed six of Li Lianshan’s subordinates, something Ye Qing had kept in mind, wanting to seek out these monks. Unexpectedly, they had come together, even having the audacity to kidnap Li Lianshan in Shenchuan City.

”Release my brother, and I will free him!” Ye Qing replied coldly. He had no courtesy for these monks because they were too ruthless. By now, eight people from Li Lianshan’s side had died at the hands of these monks.

The monk was furious, roaring, ”You dare negotiate with us, do you not fear the punishment from the Great Brahman God!”

Ye Qing impatiently said, ”Stop the nonsense, release my brother immediately, otherwise, I’ll cut off his arm to show you!”

A monk shouted, ”Try hinming him...”

Without another word, Ye Qing chopped off one of Weiye’s ears with a knife, tossing it over casually.

”Ah!” Weiye screamed in agony, wanting to cover his ear with his hand, only for Ye Qing to punch his arm, rendering it too painful to lift.

Ye Qing coldly stared at those monks, shouting, ”Quickly release my brother, or he’ll lose both ears!”

”You... You’re incredibly bold!” The leading monk roared in fury, ”Do you know who we are? How dare you harm our people, we... we will definitely not let you go...”

”Whether you let me go or not, let’s talk about it later; first, release my brother,” Ye Qing pressed the dagger against Weiye’s other ear, asking, ”Do I really need to chop off his ears and nose before you’ll release my brother?”

The monks all looked at the leading monk, indicating he was the one to make the decision.

The monk appeared hesitant, but seeing Weiye’s bloodied face, he eventually sighed heavily and gestured for the others to bring out Li Lianshan first.

With the monk’s approval, some young monks immediately went into the warehouse. Soon, they carried out a big sack, significantly large, evidently containing a person. Most importantly, blood was seeping out, indicating the occupant was gravely injured.
