Urban Martial Saint

After sending off Ye Qing, Master Craft finally let out a long sigh of relief. The Genuine Articles were no longer in his hands, so he wasn’t really worried about Prince Wan Yan or Northern Martial Zen anymore. What he was most worried about was Ye Qing.

Fortunately, Ye Qing didn’t know he had taken three high-quality counterfeits, so Ye Qing didn’t come to trouble him, which allowed Master Craft to avoid a disaster. At least, from Master Craft’s perspective, he had dodged a bullet.

Sitting in the living room, taking a deep breath, Master Craft couldn’t help but feel regretful. If he had known, he wouldn’t have been greedy and would have just handed the three Genuine Articles to Ye Qing, avoiding making such an enemy. It seemed, after this incident was resolved, he would probably have to move. Otherwise, Ye Qing would definitely come looking for trouble in the future, and it wouldn’t be safe for him to live here.

An hour after Ye Qing left, a group of uninvited guests arrived at Master Craft’s manor. Or rather, they broke into Master Craft’s manor.

While Master Craft was still sitting in the living room, a servant suddenly flew in from outside, directly smashing the table in front of him into pieces, scaring Master Craft into a start. He quickly stood up, only to see six or seven people striding in from the doorway. Leading them was a man in luxurious clothes, with a stern and authoritative face and large hands, clearly not an ordinary person.

In the courtyard, Master Craft’s guards and servants were almost all lying on the ground, apparently beaten by these people. And these few people didn’t even glance at them, walking straight into the living room.

Master Craft quickly stood up and went to meet them, trembling as he said, ”Everyone... everyone, what’s going on here?”

A young man stepped out, looked Master Craft up and down, and said coldly, ”Are you the so-called Master Craft?”

Master Craft quickly replied, ”Yes, that’s me. May I have the honor of your names?”

”This is my father, Prince Wan Yan of the Northern Desert Iron Cavalry!” the young man said proudly. ”My name is Wan Yan Ming!”

Master Craft’s face changed upon hearing their names, naturally understanding the purpose of their visit.

”So it’s Prince Wan Yan. I’ve heard so much about you. Seeing you today, you truly are an extraordinary figure. It seems the old saying is true: ’Seeing is believing!’” Master Craft flattered adeptly, but unfortunately, there was no trace of emotion on Prince Wan Yan’s face.

”Enough nonsense. Since you know our names, you must know why we’re here,” Wan Yan Ming said coldly. ”Where are our items?”

”Well...” Master Craft said, distressed. ”Those three items are no longer in my possession.”

”Master Craft, do you think we’re fools?” Wan Yan Ming’s expression turned cold, and he said in a deep voice, ”With your Master Craft skills of taking a feather from a flying goose, the items you gave Ye Qing are surely counterfeits. The Genuine Articles are definitely still with you. We didn’t go to find Ye Qing; we came straight to you, so you should understand that we won’t be fooled by just a few of your words. I advise you, if you want to keep your riches and honor, hand over the three items honestly. Otherwise, I can definitely make your life worse than death!”

Master Craft shivered in fear and hurriedly said, ”To be honest, the Genuine Articles were indeed with me originally. But last night, my manor was robbed, and the three Genuine Articles were stolen. Now, they are really not with me. I’ve already sent my son to investigate, but he hasn’t returned yet, and I guess he hasn’t found anything. Prince Wan Yan has personally come to Tianfu City. If I had the Genuine Articles, I would surely offer them to Prince Wan Yan. But now, the things are really not with me, and I’ve been deceived too.”

Prince Wan Yan clenched his fists and said coldly, ”Hmph, do you think we’ll believe your words?”

Master Craft couldn’t have been more upset, and helplessly said, ”Young Master Wanyan, I’m telling the truth, everything is true. Last night, my manor was indeed robbed, and I don’t know who stole those three items. But Young Master Wanyan, rest assured, I will definitely find out who stole the three items and give you an explanation. What do you think?”

”You might fool others with those words, but trying to fool us is not enough!” Wan Yan Ming slowly walked towards Master Craft and said coldly, ”It seems you’re choosing the hard way over the easy way. If we don’t teach you a lesson, you won’t tell the truth!”

Seeing Wan Yan Ming slowly approaching, Master Craft shook with fear and anxiously shouted, ”I... I’m telling the truth... Young Master Wanyan, Young Master Wanyan, you... you have to believe me. Prince Wan Yan, I... I’m really not lying, you have to believe me...”

Prince Wan Yan’s face remained cold and unchanged, as if he hadn’t heard a word. Wan Yan Ming ignored Master Craft entirely, walked up to him, grabbed him by the neck and threw him in front of Prince Wan Yan.

Although Master Craft had great forgery skills, he was still an ordinary person. Despite having trained in some martial arts, he hadn’t even developed his Inner Strength, so he was no different from a regular person. Being thrown out by Wan Yan Ming like this, he fell to the ground, his face contorted in pain, and he clutched his leg groaning.

”Still have the nerve to groan?” Wan Yan Ming came over and kicked Master Craft in the chest. Master Craft’s face turned beet red, and he couldn’t help but clutch his chest and start vomiting.

Seeing Master Craft in this state, Wan Yan Ming couldn’t help but look disgusted. He hadn’t expected Master Craft to be so fragile.

”Get up!” Wan Yan Ming grabbed Master Craft by the neck and lifted him up, saying in a deep voice, ”I’ll ask you one more time, where are the Genuine Articles?”

”I... I really don’t know...” Master Craft was feeling a bit confused, having taken several hits, he truly couldn’t hold on any longer.

”You don’t know!?” Prince Wan Yan was furious, pulling out a dagger from beside him, ready to thrust it at Master Craft, when suddenly hurried footsteps echoed from the doorway.

Prince Wan Yan turned his head to look, only to see a few people rushing in from outside. Leading them was none other than Master Craft’s son.

Master Craft’s son had seen several servants lying outside as he was coming in, and sensed that something was wrong. He rushed inside, only to find Prince Wan Yan holding a dagger, about to stab Master Craft. His face changed dramatically, and he shouted urgently, ”Stop!”

”Stop?” Prince Wan Yan laughed coldly, stood up looking at Master Craft’s son, and said, ”Who do you think you are, what right do you have to make me stop!”

The young man had already reached the hall, hurriedly going over to drag Master Craft away, but was punched in the face by Prince Wan Yan, leaving him dazed and sitting heavily on the ground, unable to get up.

Seeing his son being hit, Master Craft was instantly panic-stricken, hurriedly saying, ”Xiao Cheng, Xiao Cheng, are you alright?”

”I’m not going to die from this!” Prince Wan Yan glanced at Master Craft, sneering, ”However, if it happens a few more times, that might be a different story. So you’d better honestly hand over the three genuine articles. Otherwise, I’m afraid you’ll end up with no descendants!”

Master Craft’s face changed dramatically, and he said anxiously, ”The genuine articles really aren’t with me, even if you kill me, it won’t help!”

”Really? Then I want to see if it’s really useless to kill you,” Prince Wan Yan said, slowly moving the dagger in his hand towards Master Craft’s neck.

Master Craft’s son finally snapped out of his daze, and seeing the situation, he was startled and hurriedly said, ”No, I... I know where the three genuine articles are!”

”Where are they?” Prince Wan Yan immediately turned and grabbed the young man, and even Prince Wan Yan looked over.

The young man took a deep breath and said, ”You... you promise to let us go, and I’ll tell you where the genuine articles are!”

”How dare you try to bargain with me!” Prince Wan Yan was furious, ”Believe it or not, I’ll kill your father first!”

”Ming’er!” Prince Wan Yan spoke softly, looking at the young man, ”As long as you don’t lie to me, I can guarantee your safety!”

Upon hearing this from Prince Wan Yan, the young man let out a long breath and said quickly, ”Last night, the three genuine articles were stolen. I went out last night and have been investigating this matter, and I’ve just found a clue.”

He paused slightly before continuing, ”I received news that Fat Wang, the great tomb-raider from the North, has come to Tianfu City. Moreover, he brought two people from the Thief Sect, seemingly planning something big.”

”It’s that Fat Wang again!” Prince Wan Yan slammed his palm on the nearby table, gritting his teeth, ”Let me catch him, or I’ll skin him alive!”

The young man looked at Prince Wan Yan in surprise, not knowing why he hated Handsome Fatty Wang so much. What he didn’t know was that Handsome Fatty Wang had dug up the Wanyan Family’s ancestral tombs, and the remains of their ancestors had yet to be properly dealt with, causing everyone in the Wanyan Family to feel that Handsome Fatty Wang should be dealt with severely.

”After getting this news, I immediately started investigating this Fat Wang and really discovered something,” the young man said solemnly, ”I found out that he had been following Ye Qing all the way here, staying at a hotel across from where Ye Qing is staying. And last night, he came to our manor. Although he hid well, a camera at the street corner captured him. This means that the theft of our manor was definitely their doing!”

After hearing this, Prince Wan Yan looked at Prince Wan Yan, frowned, and said, ”Is it true? You’re not deliberately making this up to deceive us, are you?”

The young man directly held up three fingers and swore to the heavens, ”If I utter a single false word, let me not live past today!”

Seeing the young man’s attitude, Prince Wan Yan wavered a little. He looked at Prince Wan Yan to see what he thought about this matter.

Prince Wan Yan remained silent for a moment, slowly looking at Master Craft, and said softly, ”Answer a few questions, and I’ll let you go today.”
