Urban Martial Saint

Ye Qing exerted all his effort to chop a desk and two chairs to pieces with the Seven-Star Ancient Sword, but he simply no longer had the time to deal with Black Asura and Netherworld Scholar.

Black Asura immediately grabbed the Cold Moon Blade on Ye Qing’s back and, delighted beyond measure, he hurriedly tried to yank it away. However, he underestimated the rope that bound these two famed instruments, which was the Heavenly Silkworm Silk given to his disciple, the young girl, by Ghost-faced Judge Cui Yu. Its toughness was exceptional, impossible to tear apart. He gave a tug, and instead of pulling the Cold Moon Blade away, he ended up pulling Ye Qing several steps backward.

It was precisely this action that enabled Ye Qing to dodge Netherworld Scholar’s grab. Otherwise, Netherworld Scholar would have seized Ye Qing by the throat with that move.

Having dodged the strike, Ye Qing did not hesitate in the slightest; he lifted the Seven-Star Ancient Sword in his hand and chopped at Netherworld Scholar.

Netherworld Scholar was taken aback and quickly stepped aside to dodge. Seeing that Black Asura was still holding onto the Cold Moon Blade, he couldn’t help but say anxiously, ”Black Asura, what’s the rush? Kill him first, and the Cold Moon Blade will be yours in the end!”

Black Asura, failing twice to snatch the Cold Moon Blade, realized there was something special about the rope and simply let go, reaching for Ye Qing’s throat instead.

Ye Qing spun around with a sword slash aimed at Black Asura. Though Black Asura was somewhat faster than Ye Qing, he did not dare to risk his life against him. If he didn’t manage to crush Ye Qing with his strike, the Seven-Star Ancient Sword slashing his body would spell his certain doom!

Black Asura dodged swiftly, and Ye Qing relentlessly followed up with another sword slash. Black Asura picked up a nearby chair and smashed it at Ye Qing’s arm. Ye Qing didn’t dodge in time and was hit hard by the chair. Pain shot through his arm, making it difficult to even lift his hand.

At that moment, Netherworld Scholar seized the opportunity, lunged forward, and grabbed Ye Qing’s right hand. Now, Ye Qing could no longer wield the Seven-Star Ancient Sword in his hand and he quickly reached out with his left fist to strike at Netherworld Scholar. However, Netherworld Scholar did not dodge; he took the blows and firmly pinned him down.

Ye Qing could only release Inner Strength from his right arm; his left was incapable of it. For a master like Netherworld Scholar, as long as he wasn’t struck by the Seven-Star Ancient Sword, all other attacks posed no issue. Having finally seized Ye Qing’s right hand, how could he possibly let go?

Seeing the situation, Black Asura immediately drew a dagger from his waist and rushed at Ye Qing, aiming for his back.

Just as the dagger was about to stab into Ye Qing, suddenly someone charged over from the side and directly blocked the weapon in Black Asura’s hand.

Black Asura took a closer look and saw that the person obstructing him was none other than Demon Queen He Qinghua.

Black Asura was startled and asked, ”What are you doing?”

”You’ve taken the famed instrument, so there’s no need to be so hasty in killing him, right?” He Qinghua looked at Ye Qing with a teasing smile and said, ”Leave this man to me!”

”That’s impossible!” Netherworld Scholar said with a heavy tone, ”I must kill this man!”

He Qinghua laughed and said, ”There’s no need to be so eager to kill. I’ll make him wish he were dead!”

”Old witch, are you horny again?” Black Asura waved his hand dismissively and commanded sternly, ”Step aside immediately, or I’ll kill you as well!”

He Qinghua was furious but was about to speak when the Right Protector suddenly interjected, ”He Qinghua, don’t create unnecessary complications—let them kill Ye Qing!”

Now that the Right Protector had spoken, He Qinghua certainly didn’t dare go against his wishes and could only retreat to the side in chagrin.

Meanwhile, Ye Qing, with his right hand pinned by Netherworld Scholar, was basically defeated. Black Asura, holding the dagger, rushed forward and raised his hand to stab at Ye Qing. At that moment, the window on the second floor suddenly shattered, and a figure leaped down swiftly. Before landing, a beautiful jade hand struck at Black Asura.

The jade hand looked lovely, but the force behind it was so powerful that it filled Black Asura with trepidation. He quickly retreated several steps to dodge the hand. Looking closely, he saw an incredibly beautiful woman had appeared in the parlor—it was unmistakably Huangfu Ziyu!

Upon landing, Huangfu Ziyu did not hesitate and threw a punch at Netherworld Scholar. Her speed was so fast that Netherworld Scholar couldn’t even react.

Netherworld Scholar had suffered at Huangfu Ziyu’s hands before and was well aware of this woman’s terrifying strength; how could he dare to fight her? He hastily tried to retreat while holding onto Ye Qing. But Huangfu Ziyu was faster, catching hold of Ye Qing’s clothes and pulling him back while landing another palm strike on Netherworld Scholar.

Netherworld Scholar did not dare to contest Huangfu Ziyu and had to retreat several steps once more, avoiding her offensive. Huangfu Ziyu did not pursue him but instead grabbed Ye Qing and ran straight to the window, pushing Ye Qing out!

”Run first, I’ll cover the rear!” Huangfu Ziyu shouted sternly.

Ye Qing picked himself up from the ground and said urgently, ”How can this be? They’re all from Sha Men, and they’re very strong. You, alone...”

”Less talking, get moving!” Huangfu Ziyu said coldly, ”Even if they are strong, it’s not possible for them to keep me here. If you don’t leave, you’re just a burden, and we both might end up dead here!”

Ye Qing knew that Huangfu Ziyu’s words were true. With her strength, it wouldn’t be easy for those people to stop her. And with his own lack of strength, if he stayed, Huangfu Ziyu would have to protect him, which would only hinder her.

After a moment’s silence, Ye Qing made up his mind. He took down the Cold Moon Blade and threw it to Huangfu Ziyu, saying firmly, ”Then take this blade to defend yourself!”

Huangfu Ziyu took the Cold Moon Blade and then glanced at the Seven-Star Ancient Sword in Ye Qing’s hand. She looked like she wanted to say something but, in the end, she did not speak.

Ye Qing took one last look at Huangfu Ziyu, and although he was reluctant to leave, he turned and ran. If he did not go, both of them would die there. If he did, both might live. Moreover, with the Cold Moon Blade, Huangfu Ziyu’s strength would be even stronger, and the people of Sha Men wouldn’t stand a chance at stopping her!

Inside the house, it wasn’t until Huangfu Ziyu took the Cold Moon Blade that everyone snapped back to their senses. Huangfu Ziyu had appeared so suddenly, and from the moment she leaped down to save Ye Qing, it had all happened in less than ten seconds. Her agility and speed were extraordinary, and it was only now that the people from Sha Men truly witnessed her real strength.

Previously, Huangfu Ziyu had hidden her abilities, but what she showed today was her true power. Though she might not be as skilled as Shen Ba and Shen Jiu of the Shen Family, she was not far behind and was definitely much stronger than the Netherworld Scholar and the others!

Standing with the Cold Moon Blade by the window, Huangfu Ziyu caused the people of Sha Men to hesitate to approach. The Netherworld Scholar stood nearby, his gaze on Huangfu Ziyu was burning with intense jealousy. He had always harbored fantasies about her, and with each encounter, his heart grew more impulsive, and his jealousy towards Ye Qing deepened. This time, Huangfu Ziyu had risked her life to rescue Ye Qing, which drove him to the apex of jealousy!

Grinding his teeth, the Netherworld Scholar said indignantly, ”Hmph, leaving a woman behind to cover the retreat, is that what a man should do?”

Huangfu Ziyu ignored him completely, just looking coldly at the Right Protector, and said gravely, ”Sha Men has a grudge against the Shen Family. Why involve others? What does this have to do with the Lin family?”

The Right Protector smiled calmly at Huangfu Ziyu, showing no intention of attacking, and said leisurely, ”Old Lady Lin is very fond of her granddaughter. By capturing Lin Huayu, when I go to Xi Hang, I will have a certain leverage. Does that count as being related?”

Huangfu Ziyu frowned deeply and said gravely, ”This matter has nothing to do with Lin Huayu. She’s just a young girl. Don’t you think your methods are a bit too despicable?”

”Oh my, my little sister, what do you mean ’too despicable’?” Demon Queen He Qinghua sneered, ”Don’t forget, you, the number one of the Eastern Province’s underground forces, have also killed many people. Are those people not innocent? Do they all deserve to die? When the Shen Family massacred our Sha Men back in the day, did all those who were killed deserve it? Were the Shen Family’s methods not despicable?”

Huangfu Ziyu said solemnly, ”The Shen Family killed your people from Sha Men. If you want revenge, go after the Shen Family. Why target the Lin family?”

”Who the hell do you think you are, meddling so much?” Black Asura said impatiently, ”Stop the nonsense. Let’s all go at once and kill her.”

As Black Asura spoke, his eyes were fixed unblinkingly on the Cold Moon Blade in Huangfu Ziyu’s hand; he was actually more interested in getting the blade.

”You want the blade, I want the man,” said the Netherworld Scholar even more straightforwardly.

Ghost King Li Ruoyuan and Demon Queen He Qinghua were also eager to act and ready to strike at any moment. However, wary of the Cold Moon Blade in Huangfu Ziyu’s possession, none dared to make the first move. Taking the lead meant being in the most danger, and they were all waiting for the Right Protector to act.

Unfortunately, the Right Protector did not make a move but cast a stern look at everyone and said in a deep voice, ”Can’t you understand? I’ll say it again, she is not our enemy!”

The moment these words were spoken, everyone, including Huangfu Ziyu, was taken aback. There was no connection between her and Sha Men. She had thought that intervening in Sha Men’s affairs today would have provoked their wrath and led to them assaulting her, but to her surprise, the Right Protector had said something so unexpected.

”Right Protector, but she let Ye Qing go!” Ghost King Li Ruoyuan said urgently, ”If Ye Qing goes out to call the police, our plan might be ruined. And most likely, we’ll have to leave Shenchuan City early!”

”She has ruined our big plan. She is our enemy!” Black Asura shouted angrily.

”This woman has interfered with our Sha Men’s affairs not just once. This time we can’t let her go no matter what!” screamed Demon Queen He Qinghua loudly.

Everyone was ready to attack Huangfu Ziyu with an aggressive stance.

But then, the Right Protector suddenly slammed the table and said loudly, ”Don’t you understand? Let me say it one more time, she is not our enemy!”
