Urban Martial Saint

Just as Shen Jiu led people to attack the teahouse, Tian Sheng also welcomed a group of uninvited guests, led by Shen Baichuan, the young members of the Shen family.

The people of the Shen family, beguiled by Shen Baichuan, all wanted to come over and kill Ye Qing to establish merit for their family. Thus, after arriving at Tian Sheng, these individuals naturally showed no courtesy and arrogantly shouted for Ye Qing to come out.

At this moment, Ye Qing just happened not to be in Tian Sheng, and people like Black Bear Da Fei were there. Hearing that someone was provoking them outside, Black Bear Da Fei naturally rushed out immediately. Upon seeing Shen Baichuan, Black Bear Da Fei was naturally infuriated.

”Surname Shen, do you dare come to seek death?” Da Fei shouted angrily, ”If it weren’t for the Lin family asking for mercy last time, the captain would have sought you out already. You dare to bring people here to cause trouble again, do you really think we wouldn’t dare to touch you?”

How arrogant Shen Baichuan was, having been bested by Ye Qing several times, he was already extremely displeased. Now with Da Fei speaking this way, one could imagine how enraged he was.

”Hmph, a lackey like you dares to speak like this, I think you are really tired of living!” Shen Baichuan said coldly, ”You, a lackey, are not qualified to speak to me; have Ye Qing roll out here immediately!”

Da Fei immediately said, ”If my big brother were here, you would’ve been kneeling already, would it be your turn to rant here? Let me tell you, leave with your people immediately, otherwise, we will not be polite to you.”

Shen Baichuan burst into a mocking laughter and said, ”You want to be impolite? Hahaha, that’s really the biggest joke. How can being impolite be like this? Are you preparing to beat me up or kill me outright?”

The young members of the Shen family all laughed out loud. These youth of the Shen family had grown up within the family. For many years, the title of the Shen family as the Martial Arts Holy Land of the Southern Six Provinces made them forget what humility was. With personalities not much different from Shen Baichuan’s—arrogant and disdainful of others—they simply did not take others seriously. Especially those who did not know martial arts, they were even more insignificant in their eyes!

Black Bear Da Fei and the others were filled with dark lines on their faces. They had all witnessed Shen Baichuan’s previous troubles with Ye Qing, so they had no good feelings towards Shen Baichuan. Now that Shen Baichuan had brought people over again, one could imagine how they felt.

”I’ll say it again, please leave this place immediately!” Da Fei said gravely, ”Otherwise, do not blame us for being impolite!”

”You still want to be impolite? I fucking want to be impolite too!” Shen Baichuan said and suddenly charged towards Da Fei with a burst of speed, aiming a kick at him.

Da Fei was just an ordinary thug, while Shen Baichuan was after all a member of the Shen family, someone who could exchange blows with Ye Qing. The gap between the two of them was clear. Without time to react, Da Fei was kicked by Shen Baichuan and sent flying backward, crashing heavily against the wall behind him. Before he could get up, he started vomiting blood incessantly, his ribs having been broken by the kick.

”Weren’t you not going to be polite?” Shen Baichuan looked at Da Fei coldly and sneered, ”Come on, show me how impolite you can be. I really want to see what you can do about being impolite!”

Da Fei could not even speak, but Black Bear’s face changed dramatically as he shouted in anger, ”How could you hit someone?”

”What’s wrong with hitting someone? Today, I’m not just going to hit someone, I am also going to tear down Ye Qing’s dog kennel. I want to see how long this shrinking turtle can hide!” Shen Baichuan roared, heading straight for Tian Sheng.

Black Bear quickly reached out to stop him, but Shen Baichuan punched him in the stomach without any courtesy, making Black Bear utter a muffled groan. The punch was very powerful; Black Bear’s face turned instantly red, but he did not retreat and instead grabbed Shen Baichuan’s shoulder, trying to pull him back.

”You big fool, you can really take a beating!” Shen Baichuan looked at Black Bear coldly and sneered, ”I want to see how many hits you can actually take!”

As he spoke, Shen Baichuan delivered another kick to Black Bear’s stomach. Black Bear, in pain, let out a muffled roar but refused to let go, picking Shen Baichuan up by his shoulders.

Shen Baichuan’s expression changed slightly; he hadn’t expected Black Bear to withstand so much, which was completely beyond his expectation. However, his strength after all was much greater than Black Bear’s, so he wasn’t too panicked. As soon as his feet left the ground, he stretched out his hands to grab Black Bear’s wrists, twisting with force.

Although Black Bear was strong, Shen Baichuan was someone capable of Internal Energy Release, so the difference in strength between them was clear. Black Bear’s hands couldn’t withstand Shen Baichuan’s twist and were almost dislocated, forcing him to release his grip.

Shen Baichuan, holding onto Black Bear’s arms, did not let go but instead raised his foot, hitting right on Black Bear’s elbow. With a couple of crack sounds, Black Bear’s arms were dislocated by the kick, and he finally sat down on the ground. No matter how strong and tough he was, at that moment, he could no longer hold on!

The gang of underlings behind, seeing the situation, also hurried over to help but were intercepted by other members of the Shen family that Shen Baichuan had brought. These Shen family members’ strength was more than enough to deal with these thugs. In no time, about thirty underlings were down on the ground, utterly incapable of stopping the Shen family’s members.

Shen Baichuan, looking at the people sprawled on the ground, sneered and said, ”Hmph, these are the people under Ye Qing? Nothing but a rabble. Ye himself doesn’t dare to show up, instead sending you to die for him, really laughable. I want to see how long he can really hide!”

Shen Baichuan spoke, and he was about to barge into Tian Sheng, when suddenly his phone rang.

Glancing at the caller ID, Shen Baichuan was momentarily stunned, it was his brother, Shen Qianyue. Wasn’t Shen Qianyue dealing with the Slain Gate along with the people of the Shen Family at a teahouse? Why would he call at this time?

After hesitating for a moment, Shen Baichuan still answered the phone. Shen Qianyue’s anxious voice came through immediately, ”Baichuan, where are you now?”

”I’m... out shopping...” Shen Baichuan lied, not daring to let Shen Qianyue know that he had brought people to deal with Ye Qing.

”You have the mind to go shopping now?” Shen Qianyue gritted his teeth and said, ”Listen, go back right now, gather all of our Shen family’s people, get in the car immediately, and leave Shenchuan City to wait for us at Wangxiang Pavilion in the Northwestern Suburb. We will arrive in half an hour, and you must not have any delay, understand?”

”What?” Shen Baichuan exclaimed in surprise, ”Big brother, what happened, why are you in such a hurry? We’re on the street now, it might not even be enough to get back in half an hour!”

”No more nonsense, I’m only giving you half an hour, you have to get there!” Shen Qianyue paused for a moment then said in a stern voice, ”We’ve lost, the people of Slain Gate might go after the Lin family at any moment. If you’re slow, none of you will live to leave Shenchuan City!”

Shen Baichuan’s expression changed, and he exclaimed into the phone, ”What? We lost? How is that possible? How were we defeated? Big brother, aren’t you...”

Shen Qianyue didn’t wait for him to finish speaking and hung up the phone, leaving Shen Baichuan with a face full of shock. After a long silence, he finally turned to look at the people behind him and suddenly gritted his teeth, ”Let’s go!”

”Baichuan, what did you just say about us losing?” Shen Feilin asked softly beside him.

”I don’t know either...” Shen Baichuan shrugged, ”The big brother was very unclear, but he said that the people of Slain Gate will be after us soon. I think... I think we must have been defeated by Slain Gate...”

”What? How could that be?”

”Uncle Jiu and Aunt Anyun personally went there, and they even brought our family’s Liuguang Sword, how could they possibly lose?”

”Those Slain Gate folks are just a mob, how could our many elites of the Shen Family not be able to beat them?”

The group expressed their doubts one after another, but no matter how reluctant they were to believe it, the truth was indeed as such. They squabbled for a bit, but in the end, resigned to their fate, they followed Shen Baichuan into the car. At this point, they no longer cared about finding trouble with Ye Qing, they hurriedly drove off, heading straight for the Northwestern Suburb.

Not long after the people of the Shen Family left, Ye Qing, who had received the news, rushed to the teahouse. Black Bear Da Fei and the others had already been carried into Tian Sheng, and each was seriously injured. Especially Black Bear, both his arms were dislocated, and he suffered severe internal injuries, coughing up blood as he spoke. And Da Fei, with several broken ribs, had no strength even to talk.

After listening to the people nearby recounting what had just happened, Ye Qing was extremely irate. He had promised Huangfu Ziyu that he wouldn’t interfere with the Slain Gate’s matters with the Shen Family, so he hadn’t planned to look for trouble with Shen Baichuan anymore. Unexpectedly, without seeking out Shen Baichuan, Shen Baichuan had actually come looking for him and even injured his brothers.

”Shen Baichuan!” Ye Qing clenched his teeth and punched the table beside him. Turning around in anger, he said, ”Immediately call Li, tell him to gather all our brothers and check where exactly Shen Baichuan has gone!”

Mad Dog immediately made the call to Li Lianshan. Li Lianshan was essentially the underground king of Shenchuan City now, with almost all the underground forces of the city under his control. His minions were spread across the whole city, sometimes asking for his help in finding someone was even more convenient than seeking Zhao Chengshuang’s assistance.

The minions at Tian Sheng jotted down the license plate numbers of the cars driven by Shen Baichuan and his crew, and after making the call to Li Lianshan, it took less than five minutes to get the information.

Receiving the news, Ye Qing didn’t hesitate at all and immediately took the Seven-Star Ancient Sword, driving after them. He didn’t bring any subordinates because he well knew that facing the Shen Family members, bringing subordinates was utterly useless.

If it were in the past, even dealing with one Shen Baichuan would be difficult for Ye Qing, let alone several people from the Shen Family. But now that he had the Seven-Star Ancient Sword in hand, the situation was different.

Just as Cui Yulong said, with such a famed instrument, if it recognizes you, it can double your strength. Undoubtedly, the Seven-Star Ancient Sword recognized Ye Qing!
