Urban Martial Saint

Ye Qing showed no mercy towards Huang Jianyuan, after all, he had openly admitted that they were the ones who had murdered Tie Yongwen. Ye Qing had long sworn to slaughter all those involved in the killing of Tie Yongwen!

With a single stroke, he beheaded Huang Jianyuan and casually picked up the Cold Moon Blade that lay on the ground nearby, casting a cold gaze towards Huang Jianyuan’s men. They had watched Huang Jianyuan get killed by Ye Qing yet not one dared to move forward, instead they all kept their distance. With the Seven-Star Ancient Sword in hand, Ye Qing was simply not someone they could contend with!

”Go back and tell the rest of them that I, Ye Qing, killed this man,” Ye Qing said coldly. ”If they wish to seek revenge for him, they are free to come looking for me at any time. If they don’t dare to come for me, I will eventually seek them out myself!”

Ye Qing didn’t chase after these men or press them for details. Since they had fled far away, and he was certain he could not catch up, he could only let them go. However, he knew very well that after killing Huang Jianyuan, even if he didn’t go looking for these men, others would certainly come for him. Then, he would have his chance to avenge Tie Yongwen!

Huang Jianyuan’s followers exchanged glances and, not daring to linger, hurriedly turned and ran away. The battlefield was a mess, as most of Shen Family’s people were dead, along with three of Huang Jianyuan’s men, including the leader himself.

On the ground, only Shen Ba still showed some signs of life; he had lost too much blood and was not far from death.

”Ye... Ye brothers...” Shen Ba slowly raised his hand and said, ”Could you do me a favor...”

Ye Qing frowned slightly—after all, these were members of the Shen Family. Truth be told, he didn’t have much affection for them. However, seeing that Shen Ba was close to death, he approached.

”Could you... deliver a message to the Xihang Shen Family for me...” With trembling hands, Shen Ba took out a small medicine bottle and said, ”This... inside here is a Ziyu Chenxiang Pill. If you can carry this message for me, this... this Ziyu Chenxiang Pill is for you, as... as my thanks to you...”

Ye Qing glanced at the medicine bottle and asked, ”Why don’t you eat it yourself, save your life, and then go back with the message?”

Shen Ba chuckled bitterly and shook his head, saying, ”I... I am a member of the Shen Family, they... they certainly won’t let me live to make it back to Xihang. Even if I took this Ziyu Chenxiang Pill, I’d still have no chance of escaping. Besides, I... I’ve lost both of my legs, I’m nothing but a cripple now, living... living holds no meaning for me anymore, and... it would also be a waste of the pill...”

Shen Ba handed the medicine bottle to Ye Qing, grabbed the fabric of Ye Qing’s clothes with one hand, and pleaded in a trembling voice, ”Help me... help me...”

Ye Qing bit his teeth and finally nodded, saying, ”Speak!”

”Tell the Shen Family, don’t... don’t... don’t fight against Sha Men with brute force, this... this is a... a trap... a trap...”

After uttering the last two words, Shen Ba’s head drooped and he slowly collapsed to the ground. The Shen Family’s Ten Outstanding Members, Shen Eight and Shen Nine, both died here. It was only at the brink of death that he finally realized it was all someone else’s conspiracy. Unfortunately, understanding this too late meant nothing now!

Seeing Shen Ba’s dead yet unpeaceful demeanor, Ye Qing couldn’t help but sigh. He had heard about the grudge between Sha Men and the Shen Family from Old Wang Ba. To be honest, he felt no pity whether people from the Shen Family died or those from Sha Men, for both groups had committed grave sins. People from Sha Men had killed countless, and those from the Shen Family who butchered Sha Men were no saints!

For Ye Qing, what mattered most was the murder of Tie Yongwen. Although he was reluctant to get involved, now that the incident was linked to Tie Yongwen’s death, he had no choice but to pursue the matter!

Ye Qing took the medicine bottle, gently closed Shen Ba’s eyes with a sigh of regret. Picking up the scabbard of the Cold Moon Blade from the ground, he sheathed the blade and then left with both weapons in his car. He had initially intended to find Shen Baichuan and the others to avenge Black Bear and his companions, but unexpectedly, he hadn’t found Shen Baichuan. Instead, he had encountered an enemy from the Tie Yongwen incident, which ultimately made the trip not in vain!

No sooner had Ye Qing driven off than a head slowly peeked out from behind a small hillock behind Wangxiang Pavilion; it was Shen Qianyue. Standing beside him was another person, it was Shen Baichuan. During the chaotic battle, Shen Qianyue had quickly realized that something was wrong and immediately took Shen Baichuan to hide behind the hillock. Fortunately, they went unnoticed, saving their lives.

If not for Shen Qianyue’s quick thinking in escaping with Shen Baichuan at the right moment, they too would likely be dead now.

Surveying the scene, Shen Baichuan’s complexion paled, shaking so much he couldn’t speak. He had always thought the Shen Family was Invincible Under the Heavens, that no one would dare provoke them. He had never imagined that his family elders, despite taking personal action, would suffer a disastrous defeat and be slaughtered in such a way. He finally realized the Shen Family wasn’t as powerful as he had imagined.

Shen Qianyue, however, wasn’t focused on the people at the scene. Instead, he frowned at the direction where Ye Qing had left, with an ugly expression on his face. He couldn’t fathom how Ye Qing’s strength had suddenly increased so drastically that he was even able to kill Huang Jianyuan. Although there was an element of surprise in the attack, the fact that Ye Qing managed to be recognized by the Seven-Star Ancient Sword and wield its power was impressive in itself!

Shen Qianyue brooded with furrowed brows, while the frantic Shen Baichuan beside him stuttered, ”Big brother, what... what do we do now? I think... there may still be people coming to hunt us down, should we... should we take a different route, so we don’t get caught?”

”Don’t rush!” Shen Qianyue waved his hand and walked slowly into the battlefield, observing each of the fallen individuals.

Shen Baichuan had no idea what Shen Qianyue was planning to do; he was almost scared out of his wits, following closely behind Shen Qianyue, not daring to fall half a step behind.

After strolling through the battlefield for a while, a person lying nearby suddenly shook and slowly raised a hand, tremblingly said, ”Qian... Qianyue, save... save me...”

This was one of Shen Qianyue’s elders, who was extremely severely injured. It was already a miracle that he had managed to survive. Under these circumstances, he didn’t have the strength to stand up and could only plead with Shen Qianyue for help.

”Uncle, you... how are you?” Shen Baichuan immediately ran over and said, ”Don’t worry, I’m calling an ambulance right now, it’s okay, it’s okay!”

As Shen Baichuan spoke, he reached for his mobile phone, but Shen Qianyue stopped him with a hand. Bending over slowly, he looked at the man on the ground, saw he was seriously injured, and directly grabbed his neck, pulling out a dagger from his waistband and stabbing it straight into the man’s heart. The man was already gravely wounded, so with this strike, he hardly struggled at all and immediately stopped breathing,

Shen Baichuan at his side had not expected Shen Qianyue to do such a thing, was startled, and exclaimed, ”Big brother, what are you doing?”

”Don’t talk!” Shen Qianyue waved his hand at Shen Baichuan, bending down to carefully inspect each corpse next to him, seemingly unwilling to leave any survivors. In the end, he didn’t even care whether these men were dead or alive and directly stabbed each one in the heart, ensuring they were thoroughly dead.

Shen Baichuan stood on the side, dumbfounded, as he watched Shen Qianyue finish off everyone, he said urgently, ”Big brother, what on earth are you doing? Have you... have you gone mad? These are all our own Shen Family people, what are you trying to do?”

Shen Qianyue slowly cleaned the blood off the dagger and, without explaining, turned around and led Shen Baichuan straight away from the scene. It wasn’t until they had walked about five miles that Shen Qianyue finally slowed his pace.

”Big brother, what happened, exactly? Say something!” Shen Baichuan pressed, beside himself with urgency, as Shen Qianyue’s actions today were completely beyond his expectations.

Shen Qianyue gave Shen Baichuan a glance and said in a deep voice, ”Baichuan, I’m doing this for your own good. Think about it, with so many from the Shen Family fighting together, and the two of us ran away when the fight started. If the news of this gets back, will the two of us still be alive?”

Shen Baichuan was stunned for a moment and asked, ”So... you killed them to silence them?”

”Killing them is not just to save us two...” Shen Qianyue said seriously, ”but also for that Ye Qing!”

”Ye Qing? What about him?” Shen Baichuan asked, surprised, his interest piqued at the mention of Ye Qing.

”Ye Qing’s power has increased too fast, he’s no longer someone we can contend with. But the elders in our family simply refuse to deal with him, and it’s not easy for us to act against him!” Shen Qianyue looked at Shen Baichuan, his voice grave, ”I know you have some grudges with Ye Qing. That person is too arrogant and full of himself, I can’t stand him either. You’re my own brother after all, of course, I will help you. That’s why I did all this!”

”This... this is helping me?” Shen Baichuan was still confused.

”Hmph!” Shen Qianyue snorted coldly and said, ”Now that all those people and our Shen Family members died there, and Ye Qing took our Cold Moon Blade and Ziyu Chenxiang Pills, what do you think the clan elders will think about this incident after they find out?”

Shen Baichuan scratched his head and suddenly said excitedly, ”You mean, the clan elders will think Ye Qing killed our people and stole our stuff?”

Shen Qianyue slowly nodded and responded, ”As long as there are no survivors, our family will blame all the guilt on Ye Qing, especially since he took our Cold Moon Blade and Ziyu Chenxiang Pills. Moreover, even the group from earlier will certainly not let Ye Qing off. This way, Ye Qing will become the target marked for death by two major forces; no matter how strong he is, how long can he jump around?”

Realization dawned on Shen Baichuan, and he couldn’t help but feel thrilled, saying, ”Big brother, your plan is fantastic. It seems that this time Ye Qing is doomed!”

Shen Qianyue smiled coldly, his heart filled with frustration. In fact, when he had left Shen Baichuan behind in Shenchuan City, it was to use him against Ye Qing. Unexpectedly, not only did Shen Baichuan fail to deal with Ye Qing, but Ye Qing’s power had grown even stronger, forcing him to take matters into his own hands this time!
