Urban Martial Saint

Although the insults were harsh, Shen Qianyue always had a smile on his face, speaking softly, ”I’m really sorry, it was too dark, and we didn’t see the situation behind us clearly. Please forgive us if we have offended you!”

The man said arrogantly, ”Forgive your mother’s forgiveness, you’ve been blocking our way for three or four miles, even a blind man should have seen it by now. You’re just looking for trouble on purpose, and now you know you’ve offended me!”

If it were someone else, they would have surely lost their temper by now. But Shen Qianyue still wore that smile and said, ”I’m really sorry, it was our fault!”

”Sorry, sorry, you know it’s wrong and you still block the way, what a piece of shit!” Seeing Shen Qianyue’s low attitude, the man’s anger subsided slightly. He glared at the few cars behind him and pointed at the one in the front, ”All of you pay attention, I’ve memorized your license plate numbers. I’m in a good mood today, so I’ll let you off. Damn it, just don’t let me see you again, or I’ll beat you up each time I do!”

Shen Qianyue continued to smile, but the woman in the car furrowed her brows. She pushed the door open and stepped out, looking coldly at the men, speaking sternly, ”Qianyue, I asked you to send them away, did I ask you to apologize to them?”

”Second aunt...” Shen Qianyue hung his head and said, ”We’re about to enter Shenchuan City, I was thinking, it’s better not to make a big deal out of it, so...”

”Are we, the Shen Family, afraid of trouble?” The woman interrupted Shen Qianyue proudly, and Shen Qianyue immediately shut his mouth, standing aside.

The man got furious and glared, saying, ”You bitch, who the hell did you just say you wanted to send away?”

The woman’s face turned cold, but before she could speak, Shen Qianyue beat her to it, raising his hand and slapping the man twice with a crisp sound, not giving the people around any chance to react.

Shen Qianyue’s expression turned icy as he angrily looked at the man and said sternly, ”It’s fine for you to insult me, but you absolutely cannot insult my elder!”

The woman was initially very dissatisfied with Shen Qianyue’s apology to these people, but seeing how Shen Qianyue protected her, she suddenly felt much better, and she began to view Shen Qianyue in a more favorable light.

”You... you dare to hit me...” The man was stunned by the slap, covering his face, and it took him a while to point at Shen Qianyue and yell in rage, ”I’ll kill you!”

As he spoke, the man opened his arms and lunged at Shen Qianyue. However, how could his strength match Shen Qianyue’s? Before he could reach Shen Qianyue, he was kicked away, with no surprise at all!

”Dare to fight, let’s all go together!” The men behind the first shouted and rushed forward, ready to fight Shen Qianyue desperately.

Shen Qianyue, unapologetically, charged into the crowd, fists and kicks flying. In less than a minute, all five men were on the ground, and the six or seven people behind them hadn’t even had a chance to make a move.

Shen Qianyue’s assertive action had frightened those six or seven people, while his second aunt looked on approvingly at Shen Qianyue, nodding slightly, very satisfied with what Shen Qianyue had done.

Meanwhile, inside the stretch business vehicle in front, a few people were also watching the situation outside. Among them was an elderly man, probably in his sixties, tall, with sharp eyes and calloused hands, and unusually broad shoulders, clearly no ordinary person. Sitting opposite him was a middle-aged man in a loose outfit, arms crossed in front of his chest, looking disdainfully at the scene outside.

The elder’s brow furrowed slightly upon seeing Shen Qianyue’s moves, a bit shocked because he could tell Shen Qianyue was no simple practitioner.

”Master, this man is a martial artist!” a man sitting beside the elder said in a low voice, ”Should I go and test him?”

”No need,” the elder glanced at the middle-aged man across from him and smiled, ”Mr. Jin, these guys must be apprentices from your Taekwondo Gym, aren’t they?”

The middle-aged man couldn’t understand the elder’s words, and someone from the entourage immediately translated it into the Bonguk language, revealing that Mr. Jin was from the Stick Country.

After hearing the translation, Mr. Jin’s brows furrowed deeply. He wasn’t a fool and understood the implication behind the elder’s words, which was a slight on the strength of the apprentices from the Taekwondo Gym.

Mr. Jin was unrelenting, spouting a string of words translated directly, ”Old man, these are apprentices from a Taekwondo Gym, but not my apprentices. Make that clear. This is my first visit to Shenchuan City. I’ve never seen these people before, they weren’t taught by me, they have nothing to do with me!”

Upon hearing this translation, the man beside the elder was about to snap angrily, but the elder held him back.

”Heh heh…” the elder chuckled softly, speaking leisurely, ”I thought as much; how could these people be Mr. Jin’s apprentices? If they truly were taught by Mr. Jin, then I’d really have to express my admiration. The so-called Taekwondo really doesn’t cut it. It simply can’t compare to our profound and extensive Huaxia Martial Arts!”

The translator relayed the elder’s words without any bias, and Mr. Jin erupted in fury, roaring back through the translator, ”Old man, save your breath. Taekwondo is the strongest martial art in the world! Your so-called Huaxia Martial Arts evolved from our Taekwondo; how can it compare? Hmph, if you don’t agree, we can have a match to see whether your martial arts are stronger or our Taekwondo is!”

The elder laughed heartily and said, ”Mr. Jin, there’s no need to compare. It seems your apprentices are quite injured. If you really have the ability, why don’t you go down and have a match with the person who beat up your pupils?”

The elder said all this just to provoke Mr. Jin into action. Triggered by these words, Mr. Jin didn’t waste any time, immediately opening the car door and rushing out, babbling a rant at Shen Qianyue.

Fortunately, the translator followed and quickly said, ”Listen up, kid, I am Jin Zairi, a top-level Taekwondo master from Stick Country. Those you beat up just now are not our Taekwondo Gym’s apprentices. Now, I will show you what real Taekwondo is like!”

Shen Qianyue hesitated for a moment before Jin Zairi charged at him without hesitation, letting out a roar and lifting his foot to kick at Shen Qianyue.

The Taekwondo leg techniques were fierce, and Jin Zairi was among the top masters of this form. His legs moved like whirlwinds, launching several kicks in quick succession at Shen Qianyue.

Although Shen Qianyue was a bit hesitant, it didn’t mean his strength was lacking. As Jin Zairi rushed at him, he immediately raised his hands to block, deflecting several of Jin’s kicks. However, after taking the blows, he involuntarily stepped back. Jin truly had some genuine skill.

Inside the car, the elder’s brows furrowed as he watched Jin Zairi spar with Shen Qianyue. The previous apprentices’ fight with Qianyue did not reveal his true strength. Now, with Jin Zairi provoked to confront Qianyue, not only was Shen Qianyue’s power revealed, but Jin’s as well.

Today, Jin Zairi attacked fiercely, his feet launching an onslaught that pushed Shen Qianyue back three steps before he finally steadied himself. Frowning, he coldly watched Jin Zairi across from him, continually blocking the kicks coming his way. Fortunately, Shen Qianyue’s reflexes were swift; Jin Zairi couldn’t gain the upper hand, and Shen Qianyue gradually stabilized the situation.

After nearly two minutes, Qianyue found an opportunity and suddenly caught Jin Zairi’s ankle. Jin tried to withdraw his leg forcefully, but it was too late; Shen Qianyue charged forward, closing the gap. He threw a heavy punch straight towards Jin Zairi’s chest. But just an inch from Jin, his fist suddenly stopped. At the moment everyone looked on in astonishment, Qianyue stamped his right foot down and twisted his right side powerfully, extending his punch an inch to hit Jin Zairi right in the chest.

Wing Chun Inch Punch!

Shen Qianyue had learned his martial arts from the Xihang Shen Family too, mastering the Wing Chun Inch Punch. Like Huangfu Ziyu’s punch, with just one hit, he sent Jin Zairi flying, crashing to the ground, vomiting blood continuously.

Several onlookers hurried to help Jin Zairi up; the look in Shen Qianyue’s eyes was no longer one of anger but one of panic and fear. Jin Zairi, who they had especially invited as a master, couldn’t last even five minutes under Shen Qianyue’s hands; naturally, everyone was shocked.

Jin Zairi cursed loudly in his own language, with the translator dutifully translating his words verbatim, ”You’re cheating, you’re using sorcery, you’re not human...”

Inside the car, the elder’s frown deepened; he recognized Shen Qianyue’s Wing Chun Inch Punch. However, he had no idea that this technique originated from the Xihang Shen Family.

”Master, what do we do?” asked the man beside him in a low voice, ”Shall we not get involved in this matter?”

The elder shook his head slowly, speaking with a deep voice, ”We came to Shenchuan City this time to make a name for our sect in the Southern Six Provinces. This is a good opportunity; this young man is definitely no ordinary figure here. If we can defeat him, we won’t need to challenge anyone else; our reputation will spread!”

The man looked outside at Shen Qianyue, voicing his concern, ”But this person seems quite strong. And he has so many people around him...”

”Hmph, however strong, he’s just a young man in the end!” The elder said proudly and coldly, ”I bet out of all those people, only he can really fight. Beat him, and there will be no issue!”

Having said this, the elder pushed the car door open and stepped out.

As Shen Qianyue was about to head back to the car, the elder called out loudly from behind, ”My friend, wait a moment!”

The Shen family turned their heads to look, and Shen Qianyue glanced at the elder, furrowing his brows slightly, ”Old sir, I have said what I needed to say. Surely you’re not looking to cause trouble for us too?”

”Far from causing trouble, I am just impressed by your skills and felt the itch to spar with you a bit!” the elder said with a light smile, ”Of course, if it helps resolve this matter, that would be best!”
