Urban Martial Saint

Old Wang Ba knelt in front of the grave, his expression gradually becoming solemn. Fearing that he had seen incorrectly, he observed carefully for a while before he said in a deep voice, ”Fate of Coiling Dragon, Crouching Tiger Feng Shui, combined, they become the Path of Dragon and Tiger, the Supreme. Third Master, you ultimately could not let go.

The unfulfilled ambitions, you wish to continue them through him.”

”One’s fate, two’s fortune, three’s Feng Shui, his Life Grid is unparalleled, protected by Feng Shui, even without fortune, he would still be a person of great wealth and nobility. However, this is ultimately not the outcome you desired, Third Master!” Old Wang Ba suddenly stood up and said, ”However, Third Master you can rest assured.

Even if it costs me my life, I will borrow thirty years of great fortune for him, I want to make him the true Supreme of the world, living up to your expectations, Third Master!”

After Old Wang Ba finished speaking, he knelt down again, respectfully kowtowed three loud times to the solitary grave, then got up and left the grave reluctantly.

The mountain breeze lightly stirred, the vegetation near the solitary grave made slight noises, as if responding to Old Wang Ba’s words.

Walking down the mountain, Old Wang Ba returned to his sleazy swindler demeanor. He found a secluded spot and, from some unknown pocket, took out a mobile phone and dialed a number.

”How are things on your end?” Old Wang Ba asked in a low voice.

”Eighth Master, when are you coming back? It’s almost chaos here. Last night, Ye Qing turned the orphanage upside down, Tiger King’s cousin had his two feet and one hand chopped off, I heard, the orphanage has business dealings with the Beggar King of Tianhui City, and the Beggar King with...”

Old Wang Ba impatiently interrupted him, ”The Beggar King has teamed up with Tian Hong, an underling of the Fire Butterfly from Xikou City, I know all this, get to the point!”

”Yes, yes. Tian Hong... Tian Hong was severely injured by Ye Qing and is now missing; some say she was killed by Ye Qing to silence her!”

”What?” Old Wang Ba almost smashed his phone, ”Damn, Tian Hong went to Shenchuan City?”

”Yes, when Ye Qing went to the orphanage, she just happened to be there!”

”Bloody hell, how is this so coincidental?” Old Wang Ba’s eyes bulged as he said sternly, ”What’s the situation now?”

”The city is buzzing, the Fierce Tiger Gang has already started preparing to deal with Ye Qing!”

”Tiger King counts for what? Talking about him is useless, I’m asking about the Fire Butterfly side!”

”Nothing from that side yet, no one can find Tian Hong, and no one knows what’s going on. However, Tiger King’s brother said that Ye Qing injured Tian Hong severely. I guess the Fire Butterfly side should be getting the news soon!”

Old Wang Ba was stunned, hung up the phone, stood in place in silence for a while, then took out the phone again, and after hesitating a few times, finally mustered up the courage to dial a series of numbers.

The phone rang three times, and a sinister voice answered, ”Hello.”

Old Wang Ba swallowed, and said in a low voice, ”Miss Huangfu, long time no see!”

”Mr. Wang!” The voice brightened a bit, then teased, ”That’s what I should be saying, isn’t it?”

”Heh heh…” Old Wang Ba forced a laugh, ”I need a favor.”

”Of course, if it were not important, you wouldn’t have fallen into the trap. I’ve been searching for you for many years, and you know that very well. What, no more running, ready to face death? My knife is always sharp for you if you want to die, just tell me your location, and I’ll come find you.”

Old Wang Ba looked uncomfortable and said, ”Miss Huangfu, you’re joking again.”

The woman lightly chuckled, ”You can try coming to Dongzhou to see if I’m joking.”

”Miss Huangfu, that’s not what I called to talk about!” Old Wang Ba changed the subject and said, ”You’ve heard about what’s happening in Shenchuan City, right?”

”Which one? The rumor that you’re wanted, or your robbery of those elementary students in Shenchuan City?”

Old Wang Ba’s expression changed slightly, his impression of this woman deepened with terror. He hadn’t expected that she would be aware of his every move in Shenchuan City.

Old Wang Ba said, ”My affairs are not important, I’m talking about that young man who has recently appeared in Shenchuan City, Miss Huangfu, surely you’ve heard his name.”

”Ye Qing, right? I’ve heard of him; lately, his name is quite well-known,” the woman said with a slight smile. ”I heard he’s been close to you; I’m considering whether to go to Shenchuan City, capture him, and torture him a bit to make him reveal your whereabouts. Then, I can personally come and kill you!”

Old Wang Ba said, ”I’m talking about his affair with the Fire Butterfly.”

The woman said, ”Apart from matters that concern you, I don’t care about anything else.”

Old Wang Ba chuckled, ”Miss Huangfu cares about me so much, it truly flatters me. If I were thirty years younger, I would definitely offer myself in marriage!”

”Sure, you can offer yourself in marriage right now if you want. Just don’t forget my nickname!” The woman paused, her voice ominously cold, ”They call me Mantis, and my men, they all get eaten by me, bit by bit!”

Old Wang Ba burst out laughing, ”To die under the peony flower is to be romantic even in death!”

Her voice remained cold as ever, ”Then come find me. I’d truly like to use your bones to grow some peony flowers!”

Old Wang Ba cleared his throat and said, ”Miss Huangfu, you really shouldn’t scare me like this all the time. If you really wanted to kill me, I would have died hundreds of times over by now. Miss Huangfu, I know why you’ve kept me alive.”

The woman replied, ”Since you know, why not just keep to yourself and stay out of other people’s affairs? You called me; it wasn’t to ask for my help in saving him, was it?”

Old Wang Ba solemnly said, ”Miss Huangfu, you should know that I never interfere in other people’s affairs. But this person, I have to save him, and you must save him too!”

The woman demanded, ”Why should I?”

Old Wang Ba took a deep breath and explained, ”Because, he has met the man you’ve been looking for!”

Then there was silence, a terrible silence that lasted nearly half a minute.

”Where is he!” she suddenly demanded, her tone as decisive as a cut-through nail, allowing no hesitation.

”Pingnan Province!” Old Wang Ba paused before adding, ”I’ve already arrived here, but I think he has already left. Seeing him again isn’t that easy; you should know that better than I do. However, he has given that book to Ye Qing. So, you must save Ye Qing!”

Another long silence followed before the woman’s icy voice came through the phone, ”White Wolf, go to Shenchuan City!”

Old Wang Ba took a deep breath and hung up the phone, a bit more at peace finally. He knew that once Mantis from Dongzhou reached Shenchuan City, Ye Qing would be able to overcome this hurdle. However, he was still not entirely sure whether leading Mantis to meet Ye Qing was a good or bad idea.

”Fate unmatched, determined by Feng Shui!” Old Wang Ba stood up, gritted his teeth and muttered, ”Ye Zi, I’m off to find your great fortune of thirty years.”

In Shenchuan City, Ye Qing’s motorcycle just couldn’t keep up. Though he managed to follow for a while, he eventually lost track. He knew how to track, but that was under the condition that there weren’t too many cars on the road; otherwise, mistakes were bound to happen.

Previously, when tracking the car that Boss Lin sent to Giant Rock Beach, Ye Qing was able to keep up mainly because there were hardly any cars along that route. But the road Boss Lin used now was very busy, and after following for a while, Ye Qing gradually lost track. He drove around several roads but still couldn’t catch up.

Ye Qing was about to give up when suddenly, Boss Lin’s car appeared again, driving out from a small path.

Watching Boss Lin’s car drive away, Ye Qing turned into the small path, mainly wanting to see who Boss Lin was actually meeting.

The path wasn’t busy with traffic, and after circling a few times, Ye Qing finally followed the trail left by Boss Lin’s car to a villa.

As the sky was almost dark, Ye Qing hid his motorcycle and crept up to the villa’s boundary wall, listening intently. The villa was silent and seemingly lacked guard dogs or anything similar.

Ye Qing climbed over the wall and entered the villa. There seemed to be no guards around. Light was emanating from a room in front, indicating someone was there.

Seeing no one around, Ye Qing crouched and silently made his way to the outside of the room. Looking up, there were six or seven people inside. One bald man sitting on the sofa was none other than the international thief He Ziqiang!

Ye Qing frowned slightly. The person Boss Lin was meeting was He Ziqiang? How could that be? Could it mean that He Ziqiang was the mastermind behind all this? It didn’t make sense. Ye Qing had no significant conflict with He Ziqiang.

Besides, how could Boss Lin possibly collaborate with He Ziqiang to betray his own people? After all, he was still a member of the Lin family!

Even though Ye Qing saw it with his own eyes, he found it hard to believe. But the trails left by Boss Lin’s car led to this villa, and there were no other houses around. It seemed like Boss Lin really was colluding with He Ziqiang!

”Ungrateful to all kin!” Ye Qing mentally labelled Boss Lin, carefully examined the villa’s layout and observed the people inside. After confirming there were no others hiding in the villa, Ye Qing quietly pushed open the room door.

Inside, He Ziqiang and his men were sitting in the living room. These few men were obviously recruits He Ziqiang had just brought on board, and he was currently brainwashing them.

”I’ve pulled off many jobs and never been caught, all thanks to being smart. Survival out here depends on brains. What police nets and brilliant detectives, those are all fluff. It’s all about the brain,” He Ziqiang said, pointing to his bald head, ”With this, I took several billion from Xiangjiang, and Xiangjiang Police couldn’t touch me.

Thanks to this, the brothers who’ve been with me all got wealthy, emigrated abroad, and are enjoying their lives. With this, I can make you as wealthy as them in two years—turn you into multi-millionaires or billionaires, allowing you to emigrate and never worry about money again!”

The crowd listened, wildly excited. One man eagerly asked, ”Big Brother, when do we start working?”
