Urban Martial Saint

”That’s not the case,” the woman said with a delicate laugh, strolling over to Ye Qing, twisting her waist like a water snake, ”How could my mistress care about such a petty deal? This is merely a small business I conducted with the Beggar King to earn some pocket money. Mr. Ye, if you don’t like it, I can wash my hands off this gold plate business right away. As long as Mr.

Ye you are pleased, and however you want it, I can do anything!”

After the woman finished speaking, she looked at Ye Qing with eyes brimming with seduction; her hinting could not have been more obvious.

Director Chen cursed inwardly, this woman could use her beauty to survive, but what could the three men do to protect their lives? At this point, begging for mercy was probably useless!

Ye Qing seemed as if he didn’t see the woman’s hints and nodded, ”Since Fire Butterfly is not involved in this, then there’s no need for me to look for her. As for you, let’s settle our accounts!”

The woman’s expression changed. She had first brought up Fire Butterfly’s name, then laid a beauty trap, thinking she had Ye Qing under her control. Yet, to her surprise, Ye Qing remained unmoved.

She was furious, but her face took on a pitiful look as she pleaded, ”Ye, I am just a weak woman, and I didn’t personally partake in these affairs. You… You couldn’t possibly hit me, could you?”

”I won’t hit you!” Ye Qing lifted the sulfuric acid in his right hand, ”You liked using sulfuric acid on these kids, right? Now, you take a try!”

The woman’s color drained from her face, and she turned to flee, but Ye Qing grabbed her in an instant. The woman reacted quickly, sending a kick flying towards Ye Qing’s groin—a kick that, if landed, would likely cripple him for life.

Ye Qing was quicker, taking a step with his right leg to block her kick. At the same time, his left hand forcefully gripped the acupoints on the woman’s wrist, leaving her feeling numb, with the strength draining from half of her body.

”If you… if you dare touch me, my mistress will definitely kill you!” the woman shouted shrilly.

Ye Qing: ”If she wants to cover for you, then I don’t mind dealing with her as well!”

The woman was stunned—all this time, no one dared to speak of Fire Butterfly this way. Was Ye Qing bravely skilled or just a naive calf who was not afraid of tigers?

As Ye Qing lifted the bucket of sulfuric acid, the woman’s face turned to one of mournful pleading, her voice trembling, ”Ye, I know I was wrong, you…just don’t splash me with it. I am a woman, disfiguring me would be worse than killing me…”

”You are a woman, but isn’t that little girl a girl too?” Ye Qing calmly watched her, then suddenly turned his head to the kids and said, ”You guys go out first!”

These kids had been watching from the background, and upon hearing Ye Qing, they immediately ran out of the room. Ye Qing went to close the door; he didn’t want these children to witness what was to come. He didn’t want to inflict nightmares upon their young minds.

The woman seized the moment Ye Qing turned his head to struggle fiercely, but she couldn’t break free from his grasp. Knowing that Ye Qing wasn’t going to let her go, she turned her gaze to Director Chen, urgently saying, ”Director Chen, what are you waiting for? Help! Do you think he’ll spare you guys?”

Director Chen, who had already been scared stiff, hesitated upon hearing this; he grabbed a hammer from the table and charged at Ye Qing.

”I’ll bash your head in!” Director Chen, brandishing the hammer, swung it down hard at Ye Qing.

Ye Qing stepped back to avoid the hammer. But the woman was not so lucky; she got hit in the face by the hammer swung by Director Chen, her nose crushed and blood spurting.

”What the hell are you doing!” the woman bellowed, ”Director Chen, I’ll never let this go!”

Director Chen, seeing the woman’s blood-covered face, was nothing but trembling, but then, seeing Ye Qing, he clenched his teeth and turned to his two subordinates in anger: ”What are you waiting for? Attack! If this bastard doesn’t die tonight, none of us will get out of this alive.”

Director Chen was well aware that Ye Qing was using them to kill each other. But after that hammer had already been swung, a feud had been established between him and the woman.

The two men snapped back to reality, grabbing weapons from the table and charging at Ye Qing, joining Director Chen in a collective assault on Ye Qing.

Ye Qing was quite at ease, effortlessly stepping back to evade, not striking back at all, merely using the woman as a shield to block the trio’s attacks. While the three men were somewhat cautious, they still occasionally made mistakes.

After a short while, they hadn’t touched a hair on Ye Qing, but the woman was battered, bleeding from her head with several gashes on her body, her appearance frightful with disheveled hair.

”Director Chen, you did that on purpose, didn’t you!” the woman roared, ”You just wait, if I don’t die, I swear I’ll kill you with my own hands!”

Director Chen gritted his teeth and swung the hammer down hard. This time, Ye Qing didn’t bother to dodge, because it was clear that Director Chen aimed the hammer straight for the woman’s forehead.

As the woman saw Director Chen charging furiously towards her, she let out a piercing scream. Just then, Ye Qing suddenly let go, and the woman instantly regained her strength, leaping to her feet.

Director Chen had assumed the woman was powerless under Ye Qing’s control and was completely unable to retreat in time when she suddenly jumped up. The woman, enraged, dodged Director Chen’s hammer and kicked squarely at his groin.

Struck so forcefully in his vital region, Director Chen convulsed all over in pain, clutching his groin and screaming loudly. But the woman didn’t stop; rushing forward, she grabbed Director Chen’s shoulders, and her right knee landed another blow in his groin.

Director Chen’s screams came to an abrupt halt as he slowly collapsed to the ground, his face red with swelling.

”Damn it, you want to kill me? Let’s see who dies first!” the woman grabbed a hammer from the ground and swung it hard at Director Chen’s head.

Director Chen nearly passed out from fear, but luckily, at the last moment, a hammer flew in and struck the woman’s hand, knocking the hammer from her grasp.

The woman, surprised, turned to look and saw that the other two men had been taken down by Ye Qing, lying on the ground groaning. It was Ye Qing who had thrown the hammer.

”You wanted him dead, didn’t you? Why stop me!” the woman raged, now nearing a breakdown. Her face had been struck several times—it was a wreck even without sulfuric acid. She had nothing left to lose and only wanted to kill Director Chen to avenge herself.

Ye Qing: ”Death would be too easy for him!”

Director Chen, clutching his crotch and lying on the ground, shivered with fear upon hearing Ye Qing’s words. Death was considered easy; what on earth did Ye Qing intend to do?

Looking at Ye Qing, the woman suddenly widened her eyes and asked, ”You want to cripple him?”

Ye Qing: ”Since he likes to sell children off as beggars to make money, I’ll let him have a taste of that feeling!”

As Ye Qing picked up a machete from the ground and approached, the woman immediately stepped in front of him and said sternly, ”I’ll do it myself!”

Ye Qing handed her the machete, and the woman walked over to Director Chen. She stepped on his arm and cursed, ”Bastard, after all the good I did for you, you still try to kill me. Fine, I’ll repay your malice with kindness; I won’t kill you today, but I’ll take both your hands and feet as compensation!”

As she spoke, the woman swung the blade and chopped off one of Director Chen’s hands.

”Ah!” Director Chen screamed in agony as he writhed on the ground, his wrist gushing blood.

The woman’s eyes still fierce, she stepped on the other arm of Director Chen, ready to chop it off as well.

”Please… no… spare me… spare me, please…” Director Chen begged weakly.

Ye Qing promptly said, ”Leave him one hand to eat with!”

The woman glanced at Ye Qing, let go of Director Chen’s other hand, and chopped off both of his feet. Afterward, she was covered in blood, both on her body and face, looking utterly terrifying.

Director Chen lay in a pool of his own blood, no longer having the strength to roll around.

The woman didn’t even glance at him as she walked over to Ye Qing, brandishing the machete, and said harshly, ”Mr. Ye, we’re not done with this either. As long as I’m breathing, I’ll fight you to the end. If you have the guts, kill me now; otherwise, I’ll never let you go!”

Ye Qing shook his head and said, ”I won’t kill you, but you’ll have to leave something behind!”

After staring at Ye Qing for a moment, the woman suddenly gritted her teeth, raised her left arm, and with a fierce chop, she severed her own hand.

”Is… is this enough…” the woman clenched her teeth, severe pain causing her whole body to tremble. Her eyes grew colder, filled with endless murderous intent and icy sharpness.

Ye Qing glanced at her and said, ”Originally, I wanted to take your feet as well, but you’re braver than those men. I respect you for that, so I’ll give you a chance. Leave.”

The woman bit back a furious retort, ”Mr. Ye, don’t think that by sparing me once, I’ll be grateful. I will claim this debt!”

”The same goes for me,” Ye Qing said. ”If I see you do anything this cruel again, I’ll still chop off your feet. Whatever you’ve done to these kids, I’ll do the same to you!”

Without a word, the woman pressed her wound with her remaining hand and staggered off.

Watching the woman leave, Ye Qing then crippled the other two men before he stood up and took all the children out with him.

Ye Qing made a call to Zhao Chengshuang, and soon a squad of police arrived. Zhao Chengshuang himself led the team and virtually turned the orphanage upside down. They not only found over thirty children imprisoned in the basement but also discovered the bodies of two children. This discovery incensed all the officers at the scene, especially those with children of their own.

After rescuing the children the last time, those with families had been sent home. Those without were temporarily placed in this orphanage. The police believed the orphanage would provide a better life for the children. Unexpectedly, the orphanage turned out to be another den of evil, where the children’s plight was even worse than under Old Lin.

At least, Old Lin needed the children for drug production and would not harm their limbs. But the Beggar King wanted the children to beg and would intentionally maim them to elicit sympathy from people!
