”Very good!” Yang Shitao sounded very satisfied, then continued, ”You go to my villa now, I estimate Boss Lin will probably come to find me soon, and I don’t want to see him right now. Oh, and watch out for Ye Qing—this guy is highly capable when it comes to tracking, so make sure he doesn’t follow you.”

”Don’t worry.” He Ziqiang sneered, ”The last time was just an accident. The same thing won’t happen to me twice. No matter how capable that Ye is, he won’t be able to keep up with me. Besides, I’ve been cautious of him. This time, I went to Giant Rock Beach ahead of time. Unless Ye Qing has the ability to predict the future, there’s no way he could know I was there!”

Yang Shitao laughed heartily, ”That’s good. No matter what, you must be wary of this Ye. He’s too difficult to deal with, so it’s best we do not engage him head-on. Lure Fire Butterfly to Shenchuan City, I want to see if Ye can really outwit the Proud Daughter of Heaven!”

”The Proud Daughter of Heaven?” He Ziqiang scoffed, ”She’s just a woman, aren’t you giving her too much credit? Even if she is skilled, she is still a woman; what can she possibly turn upside down?”

Yang Shitao said coldly, ”You’d better not underestimate this woman, otherwise, you will definitely regret it!”

”Hahaha...” He Ziqiang laughed out loud, ”Rest assured, Boss Yang, having taken your money, I will certainly do the job for you. Once Ye Qing is out of the picture, whatever happens with that Fire Butterfly is my own affair. Even though I’m a great thief, I am also a man of my word. Whether I can outwit her or not, I won’t drag you into it.”

”That’s just a piece of advice for you, take it as you wish!”

”Then, thank you, Boss Yang!” He Ziqiang hung up the phone, a sneer crossing his lips: ”Fire Butterfly? Hmph, I’d really like to meet you in person if I get the chance!”

Inside a luxurious mansion in Shenchuan City, Yang Shitao angrily hung up the phone and gritted his teeth, ”This He Ziqiang is too arrogant, really thinks he’s some kind of international thief who can do whatever he wants domestically. He respects no one and dares to provoke anyone, he really thinks he has a long life to live!”

The man who had always been beside Yang Shitao smiled faintly, ”As long as he doesn’t interfere with your plans, it’s his business how he seeks his death!”

”Hmph, I’m just afraid he’ll drag me into his mess!” Yang Shitao frowned, a trace of coldness flashing in his eyes, and said in a deep voice, ”This man cannot be kept around for long!”

”Don’t worry, I’ve already made arrangements. After dealing with Ye Qing, we’ll send him off as well!” The man looked at Yang Shitao and said, ”He knows too much. Keeping him is always going to be a disaster!”

”You’ve done well!” Yang Shitao nodded, then sat down on the sofa and frowned again, speaking in a low tone, ”Fire Butterfly, will she really come to Shenchuan City in person for that woman?”

The man said, ”Rumors say the Fire Butterfly has a volatile personality, similar to Helian Tiehua. Having her men killed, she will most certainly come for an explanation!”

A trace of weariness flashed across Yang Shitao’s face, ”Once this person arrives in Shenchuan City... sigh, I don’t know if it’s inviting a wolf into the house or using a borrowed knife to kill.”

”As long as the Lin family stands, she won’t meddle with Shenchuan City!” The man said with a light smile, ”Besides, the Mantis from Dongzhou will not just watch her devour Shenchuan City. If the Lin family does not fall, the Xihang Shen Family will keep an eye on them. Compared to the Xihang Shen Family, the Fire Butterfly is far from being the Proud Daughter of Heaven.”

”Xihang Shen Family!” Yang Shitao clenched his teeth, his face filled with spiteful venom, he said in a low voice, ”If it weren’t for the Xihang Shen Family, what could Lin Zhen Nan amount to? I would have taken Lin Corporation a long time ago.”

The man didn’t say anything. Although the Lin family was at odds with the Xihang Shen Family, Lin Zhen Nan was still the Xihang Shen Family’s son-in-law, and Lin Huayu was their granddaughter. The Xihang Shen Family would absolutely not sit idly by if the Lin family was humiliated.

In fact, even if the Xihang Shen Family did not get involved, the Mantis from Dongzhou would definitely not ignore the situation.

A strange idea suddenly occurred to the man: If the Mantis from Dongzhou faced off with the Xikou Fire Butterfly, what kind of outcome would there be? Two of the most legendary women in Eastern Province, one as supple and poisonous as a mantis and the other as fiery as a butterfly tempered in flames.

If these two women were to clash, no matter the outcome, the process would surely be quite a splendid sight.

Yang Shitao had no idea what was going through the man’s mind; he was still plotting how to overcome the Xihang Shen Family and defeat the Lin family. However, no matter how he pondered, it seemed to be a task even more difficult than ascending to heaven!

Ye Qing waited outside Boss Lin’s villa for over two hours until the four men finally came back.

The four had narrowly escaped death and ran back to the villa in panic, immediately rushing to find Boss Lin.

Boss Lin was sitting in his room and was taken aback when he saw the four return in such a state, asking, ”What happened to you?”

One of the men practically collapsed, trembling as he said, ”Big brother, we... we encountered that Ye…”

Upon hearing this, everyone in the room was startled, even Boss Lin’s complexion changed drastically. He hurriedly looked around to make sure no one was following and then somewhat relieved, he said in a stern voice, ”Ye Qing, that bastard, is really everywhere. He dares to come here, he’s really asking for death. Where is he now? Call the brothers, damn it, we must kill him today!”

Boss Lin spoke more for show than out of any real intent to act; in fact, most of his men had already been decimated, and with just a few dozen left, it was uncertain if they could even protect themselves, let alone go up against Ye Qing. So, during this time, he’d gathered all his men here, hunkering down in this villa, hoping Yang Shitao would deal with Ye Qing.

Yesterday their plan was solid, they intended to kidnap Lin Huayu and use the Lin family to deal with Ye Qing. Unexpectedly, they didn’t catch Lin Huayu but only took away Lin Yashi. Moreover, Ye Qing managed to rescue Lin Yashi in such a short amount of time, directly disrupting their plan.

Boss Lin, guilty as a thief, had been hiding in this villa since last night, not daring to go out for fear of running into Ye Qing. Now, having received a message from Ye Qing, he was actually quite scared.

”He’s already gone...” The man gasped for breath and said, ”But he let that woman go!”

”Which woman?” Boss Lin hadn’t caught on yet.

The man said, ”The woman in the sack, the chick that those guys brought over just now.”

”Oh?” Boss Lin frowned, that woman was sent by Yang Shitao for him to find a way to silence her permanently. Boss Lin wasn’t a fool; he had now understood that Yang Shitao had been using him all along. But having reached this point, it was very difficult for him to back out; he could only continue to cooperate with Yang Shitao.

Nonetheless, Boss Lin had his own ideas. Yang Shitao was no good person; wanting that woman killed to silence her was too simple a task, and there was no need to bring her to him, causing all this extra trouble. So, Boss Lin was very clear that there must be some issue with that woman.

However, he couldn’t refuse the task and could only avoid finding out who the woman was, instructing his men to take her out directly. That way, if someone were to investigate later on, he could claim total ignorance.

Now hearing that the woman was let go by Ye Qing, his first thought was that this woman’s problem might not be as simple as it seemed. He was silent for a while before asking in a deep voice, ”Who exactly is that woman?”

”Don’t know her.” All four men shook their heads.

”Don’t know her?” Boss Lin’s frown deepened, and he asked, ”What did Ye Qing say to her?”

The four men repeated the conversation between that woman and Ye Qing in turns.

After listening to this, Boss Lin’s face darkened, and he was silent for a long while; then he suddenly slapped the table and cursed furiously, ”Bastard, you actually dare to trick me!”

The few in the room looked at Boss Lin in shock, not knowing who he was talking about and unable to understand why he was so enraged.

”Eldest Brother, what’s wrong?” a trusted underling asked.

”Damn it!” Boss Lin took a few deep breaths and said in a low voice, ”Don’t you fucking get it? That woman, she said her miss is from West Gate, don’t you understand what that means?”

The underling thought for a moment, then suddenly widened his eyes and said, ”Her miss, could it be... could it be the Xikou Fire Butterfly?”

”What do you think?” Boss Lin said through gritted teeth, ”Damn it, that bastard is low enough to hand the subordinate of the Xikou Fire Butterfly over to me to dispose of her body and erase all traces. The Xikou Fire Butterfly is famously vengeful, that son of a bitch is clearly setting me up. Fuck his ancestors, I knew he was no good, but didn’t expect him to be this treacherous.”

Most people in the room had heard of the Xikou Fire Butterfly, and each one of them wore a look of panic. Just one name was enough to shock everyone!

”Boss, who is... who is trying to screw us?” another underling asked cautiously.

With a glare from Boss Lin, the underling immediately shut up and stood to the side.

Boss Lin was silent in the room for a long while, then suddenly stood up with gritted teeth and said in a deep voice, ”Prepare the car, I’m going out!”

Ye Qing had been waiting outside the courtyard for over an hour when he finally saw a car drive out. And inside the car, Boss Lin was seated.

Ye Qing’s spirits lifted; he knew his wait had finally paid off. Upon learning the identity of that woman, Boss Lin would surely want to confront the person behind the scenes right away.

Starting his motorcycle, Ye Qing followed from a distance behind Boss Lin’s car. He wanted to see exactly who had been continually plotting against him from the shadows.

At the same time, in Beilin County of Pingnan Province, at Ye Qing’s ancestral home, the mountain where Li Changqing was buried...

A man with a sleazy appearance but an extremely devout expression was kneeling in front of a grave. This man was none other than Old Wang Ba, who had recently been wanted because of rumors. This old guy had actually made his way to Ye Qing’s ancestral home; it was no wonder Ye Qing hadn’t seen him for a while.

Old Wang Ba knelt on the ground, his eyes constantly observing the surroundings. After looking for a while, his expression gradually turned to surprise as he exclaimed, ”It’s actually Crouching Tiger Feng Shui, no wonder, no wonder!”
