Urban Martial Saint

A man pointed at Ye Qing and shouted angrily, ”Who are you!”

”Damn, that’s Ye Qing!” another man whispered.

Upon hearing this, the other two men’s expressions changed. The name Ye Qing was very well-known in Shenchuan City, especially to the people from Boss Lin’s side. Hearing Ye Qing’s name was like seeing their nemesis, and they couldn’t help but start to fear.

”Ye..., Ye Qing...” The three men trembled in fear. They were no longer arrogant and could only watch as Ye Qing walked up to them.

Ye Qing ignored them and bent down to untie the sack.

The three men looked at each other, and one of them gritted his teeth and suddenly tossed a stone at Ye Qing.

However, before he could throw the large stone, Ye Qing had already punched him in the abdomen. The pain made the man lose control and he opened his hands to cover his stomach. Since he was still holding the stone, when he loosened his grip, it fell directly to the ground, landing on his own foot and causing him so much pain that he cried and screamed terribly.

Seeing this, the other two men dared not have any thoughts of resistance and just watched as Ye Qing untied the sack, too scared even to run.

A woman covered in blood rolled out of the sack, the very woman Ye Qing had let go the night before. She staggered to her feet, looked around in a daze, but when she saw Ye Qing, her expression changed abruptly and she yelled angrily, ”Ye, you despicable little man. You promised to let me go, but had people capture me halfway.

If you’re scared of my miss, just kill me to silence me, so why pretend to be righteous in front of Chen Qiang and the others!”

Ye Qing shrugged his shoulders and said, ”It wasn’t me who captured you!”

”Then who was it?” The woman paused and turned her head to look at the other two men, her eyes flashing with a hint of coldness, and angrily said, ”Was it you who captured me?”

The two men immediately shook their heads, and the woman, furious, said, ”Damn it, stop pretending. You were the ones filling my sack with stones, trying to throw me into the sea to drown, right!”

The two men didn’t bother responding to her; they just carefully watched Ye Qing, their fear evident only toward him.

Ye Qing looked at them and said, ”Hey, she’s asking you guys something. Can you show a little politeness and respond?”

The two men were startled, and one of them whispered, ”Mr. Ye, this isn’t our business, you know...”

”I know it’s not your business. You’re just Boss Lin’s lackeys, without the guts to pull off such a big stunt!” Ye Qing paused, then said, ”Spill everything you know!”

The men exchanged glances and whispered, ”Mr. Ye, we don’t know much. This woman was brought by someone else, not captured by us. Someone asked our eldest brother to find a way to kill this woman and then dispose of the body. Our eldest brother was scared of getting into more trouble, so he didn’t even meet her. He just ordered us to put her in a sack and throw her in the sea...”

Ye Qing frowned slightly; he had originally thought that Boss Lin had orchestrated this. Now, it seemed his guess was off. The mastermind behind this wasn’t Boss Lin, but someone else. However, who that person was, Ye Qing wasn’t sure at the moment. It must be someone with a deep grudge against him, perhaps the family of those dandies who died last time at Qianwan Bar.

However, Ye Qing had also learned an important piece of information. Since someone had given this woman to Boss Lin, it showed that he wanted Boss Lin to be implicated in this matter, to drag him down with him. And since Boss Lin hadn’t refused, it was clear that he had been colluding with this person for a while, definitely engaging in some unsavory dealings.

Now, it seemed that his enemy wasn’t just Boss Lin; Boss Lin was probably just a representative put out in the open by the real mastermind behind the scenes, and the real threat was still that mastermind!

”Boss Lin, he dares mess with me!” The woman was furious, gritting her teeth and roaring, ”Lin, don’t think that having the Lin family’s backing means you can act arrogantly. I’m going back to West Gate now, and I’ll tell my miss everything. I want to see just how many lives Boss Lin has, daring to go against my miss!”

The two men bowed their heads, not daring to speak. In fact, they really wanted to ask this woman who her so-called miss was. With Boss Lin’s deep connections in Shenchuan City, who would dare come to Shenchuan City to deal with him!

Ye Qing asked, ”Do you know the people who brought her here?”

”No,” the two men shook their heads simultaneously.

”Who has Boss Lin been close to recently?”

The men exchanged looks, shook their heads again, and said, ”Mr. Ye, we’re just minions. What our eldest brother does, whom he meets, he keeps it all very confidential. How would we know!”

Ye Qing furrowed his brow; it seemed it would be difficult to extract the mastermind from these two.

After a moment of silence, Ye Qing waved his hand and said, ”You guys can go.”

The two men, as if granted amnesty, immediately turned and ran to their car.

”Why let them go!” the woman shouted in panic, ”Don’t let them go!”

”Forget it; they’re just small fry,” Ye Qing glanced at her and said, ”You’d better leave Shenchuan City as fast as you can. Staying here one more second is dangerous.”

Having said that, Ye Qing waved his hand towards the two men, saying, ”Leave the car behind!”

The two men had initially planned to escape in the car. Hearing this, they obediently got out and even left the car keys behind.

The woman furrowed her brows and asked in a deep voice, ”Who exactly wants to kill me? Why would they want to kill me?”

”You still don’t understand?” Ye Qing said, ”Killing you would make it easier to frame me, thus luring Fire Butterfly to Shenchuan City to target me!”

The woman suddenly realized and angrily clenched her teeth, ”Damn it, that bastard, daring to use such a method of killing by proxy. Once I get back to West Gate and tell our miss, she will definitely find out who is behind this. No matter who it is, our miss will not let them go!”

”That’s if you can make it back to West Gate,” Ye Qing looked at her and asked, ”Can you drive?”

The woman’s broken wrist had been bandaged and although there were bloodstains on her body, they had mostly clotted. She gritted her teeth and nodded, then went straight to the car. Just before getting in, she turned her head and said sternly, ”Ye, you’ve saved me once, so our grievances are settled. If there are any grievances next time, don’t expect me to show mercy!”

Ye Qing smiled faintly. Although the woman was fierce and ruthless in her methods, she was also clear about debts of gratitude and grievance. If she hadn’t done so many heinous things, Ye Qing would actually quite admire her; it really wasn’t easy for a girl to achieve so much.

The woman drove off directly, not daring to linger in Shenchuan City anymore, and went straight along the coastal road out of Shenchuan City.

Ye Qing watched the car until it was out of sight, then went back to get on his own motorcycle and headed for Boss Lin’s villa.

Earlier at Scar Lee’s place, he had realized that someone was using others to target him, intending to use Tiger King and Fire Butterfly against him. The first person Ye Qing thought of was Boss Lin.

At the same time, he suddenly realized that if these people really wanted to frame him, they would most likely target that woman, killing her to infuriate Fire Butterfly, drawing him to Shenchuan City for revenge.

Although this was just Ye Qing’s speculation, he didn’t dare to take it lightly, so he hurried to Boss Lin’s villa. He was just trying his luck, but he actually encountered the woman and managed to save her in time. Yet, from this, Ye Qing also gained a more important piece of information — there was someone behind Boss Lin!

Now Ye Qing was heading to Boss Lin’s place to figure out who this mastermind really was.

Meanwhile, the woman drove along the coastal road for about twenty kilometers when a large SUV suddenly rushed up from behind, apparently trying to overtake her.

”Fuck you, in a hurry to reincarnate?” the woman cursed inside the car, but she had to swerve to the side. With only one hand and seriously injured, she was really not in a condition to race against someone.

The SUV caught up and came alongside her. The driver in the vehicle suddenly turned his head and gave her a sinister smile.

The woman’s face changed drastically, sensing something was wrong, and she immediately hit the accelerator, trying to break free. However, by then it was too late. The SUV suddenly swerved, hitting her car directly.

To the side was a cliff several meters high, with the turbulent sea below. The woman couldn’t move farther to the right, otherwise, she would fall into the sea. Not far ahead, there was a giant stele blocking the road; if she didn’t slow down, she would crash into the stele.

The woman made a split-second decision, slamming on the brakes, and stopping the car. The SUV quickly stopped as well, and two men got out, laughing coldly as they headed straight for her.

The woman didn’t get out of the car. Instead, she opened the door on the other side, rushed out, and without a moment’s hesitation, jumped into the sea.

The two men were too late to stop her. They walked to the edge of the sea and looked down; all they saw was the churning waves, with no sign of the woman.

”Motherfucker!” one of the men swore, turning to look at the driver in the car and shrugged helplessly.

The driver got out of the car, took off the hat on his head, revealing his bald head. This driver was none other than the international thief He Ziqiang!

He walked to the edge of the sea, peering down, seeing no sign of the woman, he said in a low voice, ”You two, one of you stay here, the other follow along the coast to look for her. We need to see this woman, dead or alive!”

”Yes!” The two men nodded simultaneously, following He Ziqiang’s order to search for the woman.

He Ziqiang first hid the woman’s car in the roadside bushes, then drove his own vehicle away from the scene. After about three minutes on the road, his phone suddenly rang.

He Ziqiang glanced at the number on his phone, furrowed his brow, but still answered.

”How’s it going?” A cold voice from Yang Shitao came through the phone.

”Boss Lin really couldn’t handle her, she almost got away!” He Ziqiang paused briefly, then laughed, ”But don’t worry, I’ve taken care of her for you!”
