The Ace Bigshot Becomes A Farmgirl

Song Le hadn’t finished speaking, but Shu Yu had already guessed what was happening.

It was estimated that someone wanted to see Little Mianmian’s ’masterpiece’.

Sure enough, Song Le said, ”The tea house was quite quiet at the time, just the low voices of people commenting on poetry and paintings. So when that person shouted, all the scholars in the tea house looked over.”

Little Mianmian was never afraid of people. As everyone looked at her, she immediately straightened her chest and raised her head high.

Most people were quite friendly to such a little kid, especially since Mianmian was very open. Whatever people asked, she answered slowly but seriously.

Everyone’s attention was focused on her, each asking what she had drawn. Some even joked and asked her to directly comment on the paintings on the table.

However, where there are those who like children, there are also those who do not.

In the crowd, there was a scholar who was very disdainful of this and was quite dissatisfied with Little Mianmian. But after all, he was educated, so he didn’t openly trouble Little Mianmian in front of so many people.

He made joking remarks that adults might ignore but children might take seriously and jump up.

He asked Little Mianmian what she had drawn and then took the brush, ink, paper, and inkstone from the table to ask if she recognized them.

Unexpectedly, Little Mianmian had a father who was the Mountain Master of an academy, and uncles who were teachers, and she was often taken to play by two highly respected teachers.

Even though she hadn’t been deliberately taught, she was familiar with these things from hearing and seeing them often.

When the scholar realized he couldn’t stump her, and instead more people were praising and clapping for her, he became angry and asked sharper questions.

Mianmian was just a child, how could she be his match.

After asking two or three more questions, she became anxious. Ying Xi, who was holding her, instantly looked displeased, and Xia Yan beside them was ready to take action.

However, before they could speak, the other scholars who liked Mianmian stepped in and rebutted him.

But that scholar seemed to have some status, and some people who were with him naturally supported him.

Now both sides started arguing on the spot.

Mianmian was dumbfounded, and Ying Xi quickly took her out of the crowd.

Not until the host of the poetry gathering came out to mediate, did everyone calm down.

The scholars on Little Mianmian’s side were afraid she would be scared by the scene and directly said to her, ”Little Mianmian, just ignore them. Picking on a little child doesn’t show their capability. Let’s go, let’s leave.”

They surrounded Mianmian and left, dispersing only after walking quite a long way.

Later, when Ying Xi and the others were returning to the guesthouse, Mianmian grew more annoyed as she thought about it. She felt she hadn’t performed well, which made them think she was easy to bully.

So she wanted to take out her proud work, return to the tea house, and let them take a good look.

After Song Le finished recounting the process, Mianmian also found her artwork.

She put the scroll in her little bunny backpack, put it on her back, and prepared to go out.

”Mom, I’m leaving, no need to worry. This time Mianmian will definitely make them concede!”

Huohuo, standing by, nodded vigorously and halfway through realized it was wrong, ”Sister, it should be heart and mouth convinced.”

”Oh, it’s all the same.” Mianmian waved her little hand, ”No need to mind the details.”
