School Beauty's Personal Crazy Young Master

Chapter 151: Chapter 173: Going Home with Lan Yuqin

Early in the morning, Chen Nan watched the departing Porsche 911, sighed, and then started his car to head home. Just then, Lan Yuqin called.

”You little rascal, where are you?”

Chen Nan found Lan Yuqin’s nickname for him rather helpless and laughed, ”Lan Missy, looking for grandpa for something?”

Lan Yuqin paused, then responded unpleasantly, ”Do you not want to mix anymore? Daring to talk to me like that.”

”If you, as a teacher, can call me a rascal, why can’t I call you missy?” Chen Nan cheerfully said, then sighed, ”Is this a case of ’officials may set fires but the common folk can’t light lamps’?”

”Such a disrespectful fellow.” Lan Yuqin laughed and scolded, ”Where are you? I’ll come pick you up. My grandpa is still waiting at home!”

Upon hearing this, Chen Nan suddenly remembered he had promised Lan Yuqin to visit her house over the weekend to check on her grandfather’s injury, ”Oh dear, it’s really unlucky, I’m actually picking up girls!” Chen Nan said.

”Picking up your head! Where exactly are you?”

Lan Yuqin felt utterly frustrated. After all, she was a teacher and also a class head, but Chen Nan didn’t fear her at all, making her feel quite embarrassed.

Chen Nan lit a cigarette, one hand resting on the steering wheel, ”I really am picking up girls, super busy. Can you not disturb me right now?”

A ”creak” noise came from the phone, clearly Lan Yuqin gritting her teeth, and then she shouted, ”Act serious, rascal, or do you want me to make you recite texts as punishment?”

”No no no, teacher, we’re all civilized people here talking reason; this authoritarianism isn’t right.”

”Enough with the nonsense, where are you exactly?”

Chen Nan glanced outside his car, ”At Lan Garden Road.”

”Wait there, I’m coming to pick you up,” Lan Yuqin said irritably, and then hung up.

”Battling with little miss Lan is ever so delightful!”

Chen Nan tossed his phone aside, one foot up on the car window, and began listening to music. Although his old car was a bit rundown, it had a subwoofer, and the sound quality was quite impressive.

About ten minutes later, Chen Nan’s phone rang again. Without a doubt, Lan Yuqin had arrived.

”You liar, where exactly are you?”

As soon and Chen Nan answered the call, he heard Lan Yuqin roaring from the other end.

”I’m right here on Lan Garden Road!”

”Bullshit, I’ve been up and down this road several times and haven’t seen a trace of you!” Lan Yuqin said, somewhat angrily.

Chen Nan felt somewhat helpless as he lay in his car enjoying the music; it was indeed hard for her to find him.

”A black old Jetta, license plate number XXXXX. I’m in the car,” Chen Nan said, and then hung up the phone before continuing to enjoy his music with a content expression.

Chen Nan leaned back in his seat, squinting his eyes as he smoked.

At that moment, Lan Yuqin had already come to the car’s exterior, staring at Chen Nan as he shook his head and savored the music. She mercilessly grabbed Chen Nan’s ear and gave it a fierce yank.

”Ouch...”

Chen Nan shuddered in pain, hurriedly looking out to see Lan Yuqin glaring at him, her face full of fury.

Chen Nan mournfully said, ”Damn it, are you crazy? Pulling my ear doesn’t cost you anything, does it?”

Lan Yuqin kicked the car door irritably, ”Don’t you know to get out and wait for me? You made me search so long!”

”My fault?” Chen Nan shrugged, unconcerned.

”You!”

Lan Yuqin was left speechless by his remark.

Staring fiercely at Chen Nan, Lan Yuqin clenched her fists, clearly irritated. She had been teaching for years, but she had never encountered such a brazen student.

”Teacher, I know I look handsome, but you don’t have to stare at me like that. You’re making my face turn red,” Chen Nan laughed.

Lan Yuqin felt an urge to beat him up, glaring daggers and saying viciously, ”You have your own car, why did you still need me to come for you?”

”I didn’t ask you to come, you said you were coming on your own,” Chen Nan shrugged, acting as if he hadn’t asked her to come.

”You!”

Lan Yuqin was speechless, indeed she had offered to come after asking where Chen Nan was. After glaring at him one more time, she said, ”Follow behind me later, and don’t get lost.” After that, Lan Yuqin turned and got into a Volkswagen Bora and started leading the way in front.

Lan Yuqin drove quite politely, and Chen Nan followed behind her. The neither fast nor slow pace annoyed him, with a passing thought of bumping into her car. However, he knew that if he did that, Lan Yuqin would surely lose it, so he had to hold back.

Soon, the two arrived at a residential area.

After parking the car, Lan Yuqin glared again, saying, ”Hurry up, follow me.”

”I’m telling you, Lan Missy, I’m a guest at your house, can you speak nicely?”

”You rascal, what did you call me?”

Chen Nan tilted his head, ignoring her completely.

Lan Yuqin was grinding her teeth, grabbed his arm fiercely, her eyes nearly shooting flames, and shouted, ”I’m talking to you, how dare you ignore me!”

”You just called ’rascal’, and I’m not a rascal, so why should I respond?”

”You are a rascal!”

Lan Yuqin huffed, turned, and walked away.

Chen Nan couldn’t be bothered to argue with her, following at a leisurely pace. In his view, Lan Yuqin wasn’t really a teacher but more like...a female thug.

Upon reaching the doorstep, Lan Yuqin stopped, ”My grandfather is a rather serious person. When we go in, don’t speak recklessly, otherwise I won’t let it go.”

”Don’t worry, I won’t talk nonsense.” Chen Nan grinned, saying, ”At most I’ll complain that you don’t teach well in school and only know how to bully students.”

”You dare! If you dare, I’ll slaughter you!”

Lan Yuqin made a throat-slitting gesture, then entered the door saying, ”Grandpa, I’m back.”

Chen Nan closely followed her inside, but as soon as he stepped into the hall, his expression changed. At that moment, there sat an eighty-year-old man in the hall. He had a kind and benevolent face, but the contours of his face were strikingly similar to the middle-aged man depicted in Huo Xinya’s painting!

Looking at the old man’s face, Chen Nan gradually furrowed his brow.
