School Beauty's Personal Crazy Young Master

Chapter 160: Chapter 182: Lan Yuqin is Kidnapped

In the parking lot, Chen Nan got into Su Yixuan’s car, feeling a bit anxious.

In his memory, he hadn’t had an affair with Su Yixuan that night, and even if Su Yixuan was really pregnant, the child definitely wasn’t his.

Damn, I can’t wear this green hat!

Chen Nan thought and hurriedly said, ”Yixuan, I know a bit about medical science too. Let me take your pulse and see if you’re really pregnant.”

Su Yixuan gave him a look, ”I don’t need you to check, even if I am pregnant, you would lie to me and say I’m not, I don’t trust you.”

Chen Nan was extremely frustrated and said, ”Am I really that untrustworthy?”

”You don’t even want to recognize what happened that night, what integrity do you have to speak of?” Su Yixuan gave him a disdainful look, then started the car.

Chen Nan, helpless, had no choice but to follow her to the hospital.

Just after their car left the villa area, Su Qingqing and Eastern Yun Fei also drove out and followed behind them.

Ten minutes later, Chen Nan and Su Yixuan arrived at Ningjiang City Center Hospital.

After entering the hospital, they registered and waited for a doctor.

During the wait, Chen Nan noticed that Su Yixuan, a strong woman in the business world, was also nervous. Her delicate body was trembling slightly, and her eyes showed some fear.

”Yixuan, don’t be nervous, just because your period is late doesn’t necessarily mean you are pregnant,” Chen Nan tried to comfort her, but what Su Yixuan said next left him speechless—

”So you still don’t want to take responsibility?”

The way Su Yixuan looked at him was full of silent accusation, her aggrieved expression seeming as though Chen Nan was another Chen Shimei.

Chen Nan almost died of depression. It wasn’t a question of taking responsibility, but he really hadn’t touched her. If there was really a child now, wouldn’t he be unfairly blamed, stuck wearing the green hat?

”Why are you so convinced that you are pregnant?” Chen Nan said somewhat helplessly, ”I remember that night in the forest was when you got your period. Not to say that I didn’t touch you, but even if I did, it wasn’t your ovulation period, how could you possibly be pregnant?”

”Who knows if you violated me or not?” Su Yixuan said worriedly, ”It wasn’t my ovulation period, but what if it happened to be?”

Chen Nan was speechless.

How could there possibly be such a ’just in case’?

”Forget it, I know none of you men have a good heart,” Su Yixuan turned her face away, firmly believing Chen Nan was the father of the child.

Chen Nan could only helplessly shake his head.

After about ten minutes of waiting, someone finally came out to call the number.

”Su Yixuan!”

A beautiful nurse clad in a pink gown, wearing a pink cap, her long slim eyebrows above a pair of big round eyes, emanated an aura of pure beauty.

She’s pretty hot!

Chen Nan couldn’t help but swallow his saliva, his expression obviously stunned for a moment, but before he could shift his gaze, he got a fierce pinch from Su Yixuan beside him, ”I’m almost dying of anxiety here, and you still have the mood to check out a pretty girl? Did a dog eat your conscience?”

”Yixuan, let go... it hurts!”

Chen Nan grimaced, feeling frustrated, I’m not your boyfriend, why can’t I look at pretty girls?

”Su Yixuan!”

The beautiful nurse raised her voice a bit, but still sounded quite gentle.

”Right here!”

Chen Nan quickly raised his hand, his expression as if he saw a savior.

Su Yixuan let go, glared at him, and then straightened up and followed the beautiful nurse inside.

Since a B-ultrasound examination was needed, Chen Nan had no choice but to wait outside.

Although the wait wasn’t long, Chen Nan felt like each day was a year. If Su Yixuan really was pregnant, how could he explain himself?

About a few minutes later, Su Yixuan came out looking distressed. Chen Nan thought to himself, this is bad—she came out so quickly? Could it be true? Then, would that mean he had to bear the disgrace and the cuckoldry...

Chen Nan dared not think further and hurriedly asked, ”Yixuan, what’s the matter?”

”The doctor said I need to be really in need to pee before I can go in for the scan.”

Su Yixuan’s eyebrows were closely knit, and she still appeared very anxious.

Chen Nan secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

”Then you sit here and wait, I’ll go get you a cup of water,” he said, making a disposable cup and pouring her some water.

After Su Yixuan received the water, she gulped it down.

Since the scan would be clearer if she urgently needed to pee, Su Yixuan was desperately drinking water. But as she was too nervous, she drank more than a dozen cups of water without feeling the urge to urinate at all, yet her stomach was already uncomfortably bloated.

”I can’t, I can’t drink anymore,” Su Yixuan said, shaking her head.

”How can that be? The doctor said it must be clear when you’re really in need to pee. I’ll go get another cup; just wait here patiently.”

Chen Nan straightened up and walked towards the water dispenser.

He only hoped Su Yixuan could finish the ultrasound quickly, so he didn’t have to keep feeling jittery, worried about being cuckolded and blamed unjustly.

Arriving at the water dispenser, just as Chen Nan was about to get the water, he heard a commotion around the corner, including some cries for help.

”Help... Help me!”

Help?

Chen Nan paused for a moment, instinctively looking in that direction, only to see a haggard-looking man wielding a kitchen knife, exceptionally agitated, wildly chasing and hacking at people, occasionally shouting loudly, ”Give me back my daughter, give me back my daughter!”

People in the hallway fled towards them like a swarm of bees. At this moment, Su Yixuan, curious, came over, but her face turned pale with fright upon seeing the situation.

If not now, when?

Su Yixuan was about to run, but saw Chen Nan still frozen in place. She urgently said, ”What are you waiting for, run! That man must be mad.”

Su Yixuan was desperately tugging at his clothing, but Chen Nan wouldn’t budge.

”What’s the rush? Since you can’t have the ultrasound now anyway, let’s see what’s going on,” Chen Nan said calmly, not backing down but moving towards the assailant.

Su Yixuan turned pale with fright, but soon remembered that Chen Nan knew martial arts, which somewhat relaxed her.

”Damn it, what a crappy hospital, give me back my daughter!”

The madman wildly swung the kitchen knife, hacking at anyone he saw in the hallway, clearly gone mad. He had already injured several people, when suddenly a door to a nearby patient’s room quietly opened, and a woman in her twenties walked out—it was Chen Nan’s homeroom teacher, Lan Yuqin.

Upon seeing this, the crazy man rushed up, grabbed Lan Yuqin by the neck, and placed the knife against her throat, his eyes bloodshot as he roared, ”A bunch of quacks, all quacks! If you don’t give back my daughter, I’ll kill this woman!”

Seeing Lan Yuqin suddenly appear, and now in the madman’s clutches, Chen Nan also startled. Why was she in the hospital?

”Don’t do anything rash!”

The hospital security rushed forward, but facing the madman, no one dared to act rashly.

”Sir, please... let me go.”

Lan Yuqin was pale with fear, her delicate body slightly trembling, as she stared at the stark white blade resting on her neck, sweat breaking out all over her.

She had just been visiting a friend in the room and hearing the noise outside, not knowing what had happened, she let curiosity get the best of her and opened the door to look.

But she never imagined that the moment she opened the door, she would be taken hostage.

”Stop your damn crying, if this bloody hospital doesn’t save my daughter, I will kill you!”

The assailant, his mind in disarray, pressed the kitchen knife against Lan Yuqin’s neck and a shallow cut appeared on her soft, fair skin, blood continuously flowing down the sharp blade.
