School Beauty's Personal Crazy Young Master

Chapter 163: Chapter 185: Heartless Man, I Will Beat You to Death!!

I’m pregnant!

These three words struck Chen Nan like a bolt from the blue, causing his whole body to shiver, and he plopped down onto a chair. He racked his brains about that night in the woods; he didn’t seem to have done ’that’ with her, so how could she be pregnant? And the timing matched up too!

”Yixuan... Sister Yixuan, please don’t joke about this. I swear to heaven, I really didn’t do ’that.’”

Chen Nan’s face was the picture of innocence. Was he really going to take the fall for someone else? After hesitating for a moment, he said, ”Could you think it over again, see if you’ve done ’that’ with any other men during this time?”

”What kind of person do you think I am!” Su Yixuan glared at him, somewhat annoyed.

”But that night I really didn’t...”

Chen Nan felt that not even jumping into the Yellow River—and not to mention the Pacific Ocean—could cleanse him now.

That night he just couldn’t help but steal a few kisses, and his hands were a bit naughty, but he definitely didn’t take advantage of her! But now Su Yixuan was pregnant and insisting it was his doing. Chen Nan truly wanted to cry but had no tears, as if his tongue was tied, utterly unable to clear his name.

Seeing Chen Nan’s worried and wronged expression, a sly glint flashed in Su Yixuan’s eyes. She then shook her head and said, ”Forget it, since you won’t admit it, I won’t ask you to take responsibility.”

After saying that, she turned and walked toward the stairwell.

”I...”

Chen Nan opened his mouth but didn’t know how to explain, quickly following after her.

At that moment, around the corner of the stairwell, Su Qingqing and Yun Fei were staring at each other with faces full of shock.

”That beast Chen Nan, he actually impregnated Big Sister and is refusing to own up, an utter scumbag. I’m going to confront him!” Yun Fei said angrily, but before she could take a step, she was pulled back by Su Qingqing.

”Let’s talk about it at home. It’s not something to be proud of, and making a scene in the hospital is just embarrassing,” Su Qingqing said dejectedly.

She felt a stabbing pain in her heart as if slashed by a knife. It wasn’t necessarily a bad thing that her sister was pregnant. She could just get married since she wasn’t getting any younger. But the man who impregnated her sister had to be Chen Nan, this man who had entered her heart.

Stupid fool, rotten fool, I hate you to death!

Su Qingqing puffed out her cheeks, her heart sour, cursing silently. Just then, Yun Fei tugged at her and said, ”What are you spacing out for? Let’s go, they’re coming.”

”So what if they’re coming? We heard everything anyway.”

”Are you dumb? It’s going to be super awkward if we bump into them now. Let’s head back first and prepare. The moment that heartbreaker Chen Nan comes back, we’ll give him a good beating and curse him out until he admits it,” Yun Fei said as she grabbed Su Qingqing and ran downstairs.

...

After leaving the hospital, Chen Nan kept a sullen face and didn’t say a word, pondering how to prove his innocence.

Su Yixuan glanced at him and couldn’t help but snicker, saying, ”I already said I don’t need you to take responsibility, so why are you still frowning?”

”It’s not about whether or not I take responsibility, it’s just... I really didn’t do it.”

Seeing Chen Nan’s restrained frustration and his cluelessness on how to explain himself, and even a hint of silliness, Su Yixuan couldn’t hold back any longer and, covering her mouth, she giggled, ”Okay, I’ll stop teasing you. Actually, I’m not pregnant.”

Chen Nan paused for a second. ”Damn, you’re playing me?”

”What? Do you wish I was pregnant?” Su Yixuan shook with laughter.

Chen Nan shook his head with a wry smile, secretly breathing a sigh of relief. ”I always thought you were serious. I didn’t expect you to be just like your sister, playing with people’s lives without paying the price.”

After the check-up, Su Yixuan had relaxed a lot, which is why she was in the mood for jokes.

However, Chen Nan’s reaction really annoyed her. After all, she was beautiful and her family was wealthy; any other man would probably be desperate for her to hold him responsible. But this guy, on the contrary, looked like he had suffered a great injustice.

”If I really was pregnant, what would you have done?” Su Yixuan asked with a laugh.

”Of course I would find a way to prove my innocence!” Chen Nan chuckled and said, ”Do you really expect me to carry this stigma and wear this green hat?”

”Green my ass!”

Su Yixuan glared at him and said irritably.

Seeing her somewhat angry look, with her delicate cheeks blushing slightly, Chen Nan touched his nose and said, ”Give me your hand.”

”What for?”

Su Yixuan looked at him puzzled but still extended her hand.

”You said Aunt Flo hasn’t visited this month, so you must have some menstrual irregularities. Let me check for you.” Chen Nan gently grabbed her wrist, felt her pulse, and then a smile appeared on his face.

Su Yixuan frowned, ”Why are you smiling? What’s the verdict?”

Chen Nan gazed at her and his eyes wandered over her body. With a mischievous smile, he said, ”Not sure yet, I have to check to find out.”

To check?

Su Yixuan was taken aback and, following Chen Nan’s gaze, she looked down at her lower abdomen and immediately shuddered all over in fright.

”In your dreams!”

Su Yixuan quickly pulled her hand back, staring at Chen Nan as if guarding against a pervert.

Chen Nan’s face displayed a naughty grin, and he said, ”What are you thinking about? Just stick out your tongue for me to check. Why so nervous?”

Su Yixuan felt she had been played and thought: If it’s just the tongue, then why was he staring at my belly earlier?

No wonder Yun Fei said he was a beast, she was right!

Su Yixuan gave him an eye roll, ”I’ll let you have a good look!” Then she stuck out her tongue.

Chen Nan nodded in satisfaction, recalling how soft it felt when he kissed her last time. Even now, just by looking, he could nearly feel its warmth and softness.

Seeing Chen Nan eyeballing her tongue, looking up and down with a sleazy grin and nodding non-stop as though he was an expert examining a treasure, Su Yixuan’s brow tightly furrowed. After enduring for what felt like an eternity, she could not bear it any longer and pulled her tongue back in, ”Have you had enough?”

”Yeah, you seemed reluctant to put it away, so I took a few extra glances.”

”You!”

Su Yixuan felt like she ran out of words to scold him. He used to be quite proper in front of her, but now he was getting more and more slick. It looked like Yun Fei had her reasons calling him a beast.

Chen Nan opened the car door and got in, smiling and saying, ”Stop glaring at me, let’s go. I’ll write you a prescription. Get some medicine from the drugstore, and I guarantee Aunt Flo will visit and leave on time each month, without any mishaps.”

Su Yixuan got into the car, her face somewhat flushed. Even though she was no longer a little girl, discussing such private matters with a man still made her uneasy, ”You’re getting more and more shameless.”

Chen Nan scratched his head and grinned, ”Actually, I’m naturally pure. It’s mostly because I’ve been around Sister Yun a lot, she’s been a bad influence on me. Sigh, ’one takes on the attributes of one’s associates’ as they say!”

”...”

Su Yixuan was rendered speechless.

This guy really had some nerve, blaming his own bad behavior on Yun Fei.

When the two finished picking up the medicine and got back home, it was already five in the afternoon.

As soon as they entered the hall, Chen Nan and Su Yixuan were stunned, completely shocked by the scene before them.

Eastern Yun Fei and Su Qingqing, one armed with a broom and the other with a mop, ambushed one on each side of the door. The moment they saw Chen Nan walk in, they both swung their weapons and charged at him, cursing simultaneously, ”You beastly traitor, you did the deed and won’t admit it, I’ll beat you to death!”
