School Beauty's Personal Crazy Young Master

Chapter 153: Chapter 175 Death Girl Cooking

His son!

Chen Nan felt a shock in his heart, no wonder the old man looked so similar to the person in the painting; it turned out they were father and son.

”Grandfather, then do you know where he is now?” Chen Nan asked.

”I was about to ask you! Your friend who painted this picture, does he know him?” Lan Qingfeng looked at Chen Nan full of expectation.

”My friend only saw him once, so I wouldn’t say he knows him.” Chen Nan, somewhat disappointed, looked at the old man and asked, ”He is your son, how could you also not know where he is?”

Upon hearing Chen Nan’s words, the old man sat back down in his chair, somewhat dejected.

”I also don’t know where he is,” staring at the portrait in his hands, the old man took a long while before he said, ”This child, he had a passion for martial arts since he was young, and he went around visiting famous masters, learning a body full of skills. But in his twentieth year, due to a hot temper, he got into a brawl and accidentally killed someone. After coming home, I scolded him, and in a fit of rage, he ran away from home. Combined with the police pursuit, it has been a full twenty-five years since he’s been back home. If it weren’t for your friend who had seen him, I would have thought he was dead!”

Chen Nan nodded, standing aside without speaking, feeling saddened for the old man in his heart.

Despite being alive, he hasn’t returned home for twenty-five years, this Lan Feihu really lacks conscience.

Looking at Chen Nan, the old man curiously said, ”By the way, why did your friend paint his portrait?”

”Well, Uncle Feihu saved my friend before, so my friend wants to find him to express his gratitude, but unfortunately, he hasn’t been able to find him.”

Chen Nan didn’t tell the whole truth. It wasn’t that he intended to deceive the old man, but with Lan Feihu not returning home for twenty-five years, the old man was already very upset; letting him know about Lan Feihu’s involvement in injuring people and stealing paintings would undoubtedly be a blow to him.

As expected, hearing that Lan Feihu did a good deed and saved someone, the old man’s face showed a smile, ”It seems that this beast hasn’t completely lost his conscience.”

Chen Nan smiled and comforted the old man with a few words and promised that if he found Lan Feihu in the future, he would definitely bring him back to see him.

...

Half an hour later, Chen Nan got up to say goodbye.

After Lan Yuqin saw him off, she said with a serious face, ”Chen Nan, thank you for this time.”

”For real?” Chen Nan smiled.

Lan Yuqin glared at him, ”Nonsense, do I look like I’m joking?”

Chen Nan shrugged, ”Whether you’re joking or not, how would I know? You’ve never been serious anyway.”

”Forget it, I’m not thanking you anymore!” Lan Yuqin said, annoyed.

”Don’t thank me then, I don’t care. You show no sincerity anyway.”

Lan Yuqin directly grabbed him, ”You clarify your words, who lacks sincerity? I clearly said it so earnestly, it’s just you, you jerk, who doesn’t appreciate it!”

Chen Nan shook himself free and without another word, strode toward his car.

Feeling ignored, Lan Yuqin stamped her foot, ready to chase after him, but Chen Nan waved his hand and said, ”Ma’am, please stop. ’After accompanying a friend for a thousand miles, there must be a parting.’ We are not some passionate lovers, so you needn’t see me off so earnestly, right?”

Passionate lovers?

Lan Yuqin was stunned, ”You jerk, taking advantage of me again!”

Shouting, Lan Yuqin quickly followed him, but Chen Nan had already gotten into his car. He pressed down on the accelerator, and instantly the sound of thunder erupted from the muffler, black smoke billowing as if a thatched hut had caught fire, suffocating Lan Yuqin until she covered her mouth and coughed.

”You still drive this piece of junk, do you even know about pollution, how could you be so unrefined!” Lan Yuqin covered her mouth and hurriedly ran out of the vast smoke.

Chen Nan had just driven out of the residential area when Su Qingqing called him.

”What were you doing last night, stupid fool? You still haven’t come back!”

Listening to Su Qingqing’s bellowing voice, Chen Nan subconsciously moved the phone further away, ”Had some stuff outside, what’s up? You calling for something?”

”Hurry back home, I’m dying of boredom here all by myself.”

Chen Nan was stunned for a moment, ”You’re at home alone? Where did Tiantian go?”

”She went back to see her parents,” Su Qingqing said in a sullen voice. ”Can you drop the questions and just get back here? I’ve made plans with Jiang Xiaomi to go racing later, and you’re coming with me.”

Jiang Xiaomi?

Chen Nan asked, ”The lunatic Jiang Xiaomi?”

”Who else but her? Hurry back, I’ve cooked and am waiting for you, you’ll get to taste my cooking skills.” Su Qingqing boasted proudly and hung up the phone.

Chen Nan was still a bit slow to react, genuinely puzzled, could that girl Su Qingqing really cook?

”Goddammit, don’t make something inedible!”

Chen Nan muttered to himself and then floored the gas, driving quickly towards home.

About ten minutes later, Chen Nan arrived home, but the moment he stepped into the hall, he was dumbstruck.

Inside the hall, dark smoke swirled around like a fairyland shrouded in mist, it’s just a pity that within this fairyland there was a strong smell of cooking fumes.

Looking over at the kitchen, there was a constant ”clatter and sizzle”; coughing from Su Qingqing was also intermittently heard, with thick smoke billowing out – anyone would think a battle was unfolding in there.

To create such a fuss over frying a dish, it had to be none other than Su Qingqing...

”She’s coughing so badly; this damn girl better not choke to death!”

Chen Nan rushed toward the kitchen. But the moment he entered, he was stunned yet again.

Amidst the endless smoke, Su Qingqing, face as black as a tortoise and drenched in fragrant sweat, was holding a spatula and ”banging” non-stop into the pan with a crackling sound as if she were a blacksmith forging iron.

Chen Nan hurried over, quickly turned off the gas, then switched on the exhaust hood and pulled Su Qingqing out of the kitchen, ”My dear lady, what on earth are you doing?”

Su Qingqing’s face was covered in soot; she wiped her hand across it and looked at Chen Nan with a grievance, ”Stupid fool, why are you dragging me? I was in the middle of cooking!”

”Why didn’t you turn on the exhaust fan when cooking?”

Seeing her face blacker than Bao Gong’s, Chen Nan couldn’t help laughing, ”It’s not like you’re cooking on an open fire; how did you get your face to look like a patched tabby cat?”

”You’re the patched tabby cat!” Su Qingqing muttered discontentedly, wiping her face a few times and then, scared, patted her chest, ”I was so scared just now, I was just frying and the oil in the pan actually caught fire.”

”So that’s how your face got all smoked up.” Chen Nan handed her a mirror, teasing, ”You wouldn’t believe me when I said you’re like a little patched cat; take a good look for yourself, you could play the role of Bao Gong without even needing makeup.”

”Is it really that black...” Su Qingqing muttered, took the mirror, and immediately let out a ”yikes” scream, jumping up in a panic, and hurried to the bathroom, ”It’s over, it’s over, how did I end up like this, can it even be washed off!”
