School Beauty's Personal Crazy Young Master

Chapter 193: Chapter 217 Su Qingqing Gets Jealous

”You don’t have a fever, do you? What nonsense are you talking about?” Chen Nan said, reaching out to touch Su Qingqing’s forehead.

Su Qingqing pulled his hand away and said angrily, ”Zhu Bajie told me himself, he said you went to a hotel room with Jiang Xiaomi, and now I have another cousin-in-law, it’s infuriating.”

”Why are you angry? Even if cousin really got together with Jiang Xiaomi, what’s it to you?” Liu Tiantian ran over and bumped Su Qingqing aside. She asked, ”Cousin, why on earth would you go to a hotel room with Jiang Xiaomi in broad daylight?”

Su Qingqing stuck out her butt and bumped Liu Tiantian away, ”Get lost, you lovesick fool. Not even knowing what people do in hotel rooms, you might as well run into a wall.”

”You’re the one who doesn’t know!” Liu Tiantian retorted, not convinced: ”What else could you do in a hotel room but sleep?”

Sleeping...

Su Qingqing rolled her eyes, ”I think you’re not just lovesick, you’re also an idiot, too dumb.”

”I’ve been dumb for more than a day or two, there’s nothing strange about that.” Liu Tiantian gave her the finger.

Su Qingqing was almost at a loss for words, ”You’re dumb and yet you say it so confidently?”

”I am dumb, what’s there to be embarrassed about, hmph!” Liu Tiantian stood tall, with a look of disdain for her.

Su Qingqing was nearly choked by her words, ”You... you idiot!”

”So what if I am an idiot? You disagree? If you disagree, you could be an idiot too!”

”...”

Watching the two of them arguing nonstop, Su Yixuan and Eastern Yun Fei were already used to it, but Chen Nan was shocked. This natural-born simpleton was really something, actually competing with Su Qingqing over who could be more foolish...

”Alright, alright, you two are both idiots, no need to keep comparing.” Chen Nan said with a laugh.

Su Qingqing grabbed a banana from the coffee table, peeled it, and bit into it fiercely, ”Don’t be so smug, you dumbass, I haven’t settled the score with you yet! I don’t care about your affair with Jiang Xiaomi, but you not answering my phone call, I won’t let that go.”

Having said that, she glared at Chen Nan with a furious face.

Chen Nan knew that he had indeed gone too far in this matter.

Not answering her calls was one thing, but turning off his phone really might have hurt her feelings. But at that time, threatened by Jiang Xiaomi, he himself had no choice, right?

”This... I really had something going on at the time and it wasn’t convenient to answer. It will never happen again,” Chen Nan said, with a hint of apology in his voice.

Su Qingqing threw the banana peel into the trash can, ”In the future? Hmph, I won’t be calling you again. Go on your dates with Jiang Xiaomi every day!”

After that, she stormed off toward her room.

Watching her figure grow smaller in the distance, Chen Nan was momentarily taken aback. Was that bratty girl really angry?

He wanted to chase after her and say sorry, but then he thought about Su Yixuan and Eastern Yun Fei watching, and he couldn’t quite swallow his pride. He hesitated for a while before saying, ”Yixuan, could you, maybe, go comfort her for me?”

”You’re the one who didn’t answer her call, and you’re asking me to go?” Su Yixuan shook her head, ”You better hurry up and cook. Remember to make something delicious, go flatter her later, and she’ll probably be fine.”

”Alright...”

Chen Nan went into the kitchen, resigned.

”Cousin, I’ll help you wash the vegetables.” Liu Tiantian quickly followed.

While washing and cooking the vegetables, although Liu Tiantian was giggling and chatting nonstop, Chen Nan wasn’t really in the mood to listen and just replied perfunctorily.

Seeing Su Qingqing angry because of him also left a bad taste in his mouth; he kept thinking about how to cheer her up later.

Half an hour later, the meal was ready.

The restaurant was fragrant, and the air was filled with appetizing aromas.

Under Su Yixuan’s suggestive gaze, Chen Nan drank a cup of tea to moisten his throat before heading to Su Qingqing’s room.

”Knock, knock, knock...”

Chen Nan knocked on the door a few times. ”Qingqing, dinner is ready.”

”I’m not eating.”

Su Qingqing said angrily, her tone thick with jealousy.

Chen Nan was somewhat frustrated. Was she really this upset just because he hadn’t answered the phone?

”Well, I specifically made your favorite braised spare ribs. Regardless of whether you’re hungry or not, come out and try some. If you don’t like it, I’ll make something else for you.”

After a moment of silence, Su Qingqing spoke resentfully, ”Who cares about your damn ribs? I don’t want any.”

If anyone else had said something like this, Chen Nan might have ignored it by now, but coming from Su Qingqing, he didn’t feel irritated at all; instead, he found this stubborn girl quite adorable.

”How can you not eat? What if you starve?”

Su Qingqing huffed, ”I’m actually planning to lose weight!”

”How will you have the energy to lose weight if you don’t eat?” Chen Nan laughed. ”Besides, you’re in perfect shape right now. If you lose any more weight, that would ruin the perfection. What if a gust of wind blows you away? Where would I find you then?”

”Pfft...”

Su Qingqing couldn’t help but laugh out loud from within the room. Wiping the dampness from her eyes, she said, ”Don’t think I’ll let you off just because you sweet-talk me. You still have to answer for not taking my call!”

”Alright, alright, alright, this humble servant admits his mistake, and will accept whatever punishment Princess Qingqing deems fit.”

With her hand covering her mouth, Su Qingqing struggled to keep from laughing aloud. ”Then apologize to me. I want a loud and sincere self-criticism.”

”I’m sorry, I was wrong.”

”What’s that? I can’t hear you,” Su Qingqing asked.

Chen Nan cleared his throat and bellowed, ”I’m sorry, I was damn wrong!”

The three beauties in the hall were startled by the roar.

Especially Yun Fei, who was most frustrated. When Su Qingqing was angry, Chen Nan would coax her, but when she herself was upset, Chen Nan had never coaxed her—instead, he often bullied her, provoking her to anger.

Beast! Animal!

Yun Fei secretly ground her teeth, cursing Chen Nan as a bastard.

At that moment, within her room, Su Qingqing laughed triumphantly. She wiped her eyes, ran to the door to open it, and glared at Chen Nan. ”Now be honest with me. Are you really having an affair with Jiang Xiaomi?”

Seeing her somewhat swollen eyes, Chen Nan’s heart ached. Had she been brought to tears just because he hadn’t taken her call?

When had this stubborn girl become so fragile?

Looking at her with a pained expression, Chen Nan shook his head. ”No, I swear, absolutely not.”

Seeing the sincerity on Chen Nan’s face, Su Qingqing’s mood greatly improved.

The reason she was upset wasn’t because Chen Nan hadn’t answered the phone, but because she thought Chen Nan had gotten together with Jiang Xiaomi, which had turned her heart sour and painful. Now that the misunderstanding was cleared up, naturally, she wasn’t angry anymore.
