School Beauty's Personal Crazy Young Master

Chapter 150: Chapter 172 Li Xiao’s Situation

After hearing what Chen Nan had said, Zhang Wenlong understood that it was all because of Li Xiao.

He regretted it deeply, wishing he had never even thought of targeting Li Xiao if he had known it would turn out like this.

He had thought he could win the beauty over, but now, not only had he failed to get the girl, but he had also been blackmailed. It truly was a case of losing both money and love, and even worse, he would be under someone’s control in the future.

Seeing Zhang Wenlong’s dejected face, Chen Nan threw the handgun onto the ground, a slight smile appearing on his originally cold face, ”Old Zhang, you can rest assured, as long as you don’t go too far, I won’t report you. After all, we’re good brothers, and I still want to have tea and chat with you in the future!”

Have tea and chat!

Upon hearing these words, Zhang Wenlong shuddered.

He knew exactly what Chen Nan meant; the next ”tea and chat” would probably be when he was blackmailed again!

”Alright, brother, since you say that, I’m relieved. Let’s have tea together whenever there’s a chance,” Zhang Wenlong said with a forced smile, wishing inside that Chen Nan would just disappear and never bother him again.

”Brother Zhang, you are indeed honorable!”

Chen Nan laughed heartily and then turned to walk outside.

Zhang Wenlong got up and stared fixedly at Chen Nan’s back, his eyes filled with endless fury. He gritted his teeth in hatred but felt helpless, as the other man held the evidence of his crimes.

After leaving Zhang Wenlong’s villa, Chen Nan immediately called Li Xiao and briefed her on the situation.

When Li Xiao heard that Chen Nan had handled the nuisance Zhang Wenlong was, her mood immediately improved. She asked Chen Nan to wait nearby as she would come soon.

After hanging up, Chen Nan drove out of the villa complex and waited by the road.

About ten minutes later, a Porsche 911 roared in, and Chen Nan quickly waved from his window. Li Xiao parked her car behind his and swiftly got out, jumping into his rickety car.

”Getting out of your fancy car and diving into my bucket of bolts, aren’t you afraid of losing face?” Chen Nan joked.

Li Xiao, limp as though boneless, flung herself into his arms. ”What’s there to be ashamed of? Your car still has four wheels. Even if you rode a $200 bike, I’d dare to sit on it.”

Chen Nan stroked her hair. ”Girl, you didn’t really fall for me, did you?”

”A little bit,” Li Xiao looked up and said grumpily, ”What’s wrong? You despise me now?”

Chen Nan touched her cheek and chuckled, ”Jumping into my arms the moment you get in the car, and you say it’s just a little? I feel like you’re hopelessly in love with me!”

”Narcissist!”

Li Xiao punched him gently on the chest, then stared seriously at Chen Nan, ”Be honest with me, did you miss me these past days?”

”Well...” Chen Nan chuckled, ”Do you want the truth?”

Li Xiao pouted and glared at Chen Nan, ”You bad guy, you definitely didn’t miss me, right?”

”I did miss you, missed your body,” Chen Nan said with a mischievous grin.

Your body?

Li Xiao was startled for a moment, then her fists fell on him like raindrops, all the while looking every bit the coy woman, ”You are absolutely terrible.”

Chen Nan spread his arms and smiled as he pulled her into his embrace.

From the previously seductive fox spirit to the now coquettish little woman, Chen Nan knew she must have truly fallen for him. This realization, however, made him feel conflicted; he didn’t know how to face his junior sister in the future.

”What are you thinking about?” Li Xiao suddenly asked when Chen Nan remained silent.

Chen Nan shook his head and smiled, ”Nothing much, where are we hanging out tonight?”

”Nowhere, let’s just stay here, I’ll borrow your embrace to sleep tonight.” Li Xiao lay in his arms, her head against his chest, listening to his strong heartbeat, a happy smile on her face.

Chen Nan smiled ruefully and shook his head, gently stroking Li Xiao’s hair.

After a brief silence, Li Xiao suddenly looked up at him and asked, ”Tell me the truth, do you like me?”

”I do.”

”Do you love me?” Li Xiao asked further.

”I...”

Chen Nan opened his mouth, then hesitated. He himself didn’t know if he truly liked Li Xiao or just her body.

Seeing Chen Nan struggle to continue, Li Xiao looked somewhat disappointed, shook her head, and said, ”I already know the answer, you don’t need to say it. I’ll repeat what I said before, you were my first, and I was yours. We owe each other nothing, and I won’t force you to take responsibility.”

”But...”

”No buts, I don’t like forcing people.” Li Xiao buried her head in his chest, ”You’re right, I’ve hopelessly fallen for you. But if you don’t feel the same, my forcing you would be pointless.”

Chen Nan held her tightly, filled with remorse.

He had planned on being responsible for Li Xiao after they first had sex, but after being scolded by Huo Xinya, he became much clearer-headed. If he got together with Li Xiao now, what about his junior sister?

Maybe, he was just one of those irresponsible men.

Chen Nan thought to himself and kissed Li Xiao on the forehead, ”Xiao Xiao, I’m sorry.”

”Why are you sulking?” Li Xiao smiled and said, ”I don’t regret falling for you. If I could choose again, I would do the same. I heard from Yun Fei that you have a junior sister; she is the one you truly love, isn’t she?”

Chen Nan was silent for a while, then nodded.

Li Xiao watched him intently, and after a while, she said, ”Promise me one thing, will you? Until you find your junior sister, be my man. Once your junior sister comes back, I absolutely won’t cling to you anymore.”

”This...”

Chen Nan hesitated, ”But I’m afraid it will hurt you even more later.”

”It won’t.”

Li Xiao smiled and shook her head, thinking to herself, being hurt by you is something I’m willing to accept.

Chen Nan held her tightly. Although he knew it was unfair to his junior sister and would hurt Li Xiao more deeply, he couldn’t bear to reject her.

That night, Chen Nan did nothing but hold Li Xiao, and the two of them slept embraced in the car.
