King of the Wilderness

Chapter 721: Chapter 339: A New Career Journey

”Go ahead!”

Lin Yu’an was silent for a moment, seemingly choosing his words carefully. ”I don’t need you to train them into pet dogs that please people.”

”I need you to retain their nature, the alertness and obedience of the Kunming Dog, the endurance and ferocity of the Kishu Dog.”

”What you need to do is reshape their misused wildness into work discipline that can be precisely controlled.”

He paused, subtly revealing his true intention: ”I need them to ultimately understand and execute complex tracking and alert commands.”

”Simply put, I need you to train them into ’outdoor working dogs.’ Ultimately, they’re going with me to the United States.”

The implication of ’outdoor working dogs’ was instantly understood by the professional on the other end of the phone.

This is not simple behavioral correction; it’s a complete transformation training according to the standards of hunting dogs, even tactical dogs!

The voice of the person in charge became somewhat serious, ”I understand. Rest assured, we know what to do. We’ll establish the highest level training files for them.”

”Very good.” Lin Yu’an was very satisfied with the other’s ability to grasp the concept.

”Furthermore, please have your team start preparing immediately all the paperwork, quarantine certificates, and relevant legal processes required for large working dogs to legally exit China and enter the United States.”

”I need a complete schedule and a list of materials. These will also be included in my expenses.”

”No problem! We have the professional channels and experience! We guarantee we’ll get it done!” The response on the phone was very straightforward.

But immediately after, the tone changed, becoming somewhat hesitant and difficult:

”However, according to what you said about retaining their wildness and training them toward outdoor working dogs, this... the risk is really significant.”

”You know, these dogs have attack records after all, and wildness is hard to tame. In the training process, what if they injure our dog trainers...”

”Or what if future transfer results in any incidents... This responsibility, for a small training base like ours, we’re afraid... we can’t bear it.”

Lin Yu’an frowned slightly, seemingly immediately understanding the other’s concerns.

He said solemnly: ”About the responsibility, you don’t need to worry. I’ve already communicated with the public security side, and I will personally sign an ’Unlimited Liability Guarantee Letter.’

”From the moment these three dogs leave police supervision, all legal liabilities will be indefinitely assumed by me personally. It won’t be legally linked to your base.”

He thought that this ultimate ”disclaimer” would be enough to dispel all the other’s worries.

However, the person in charge on the other end was still hedging: ”Oh, Mr. Lin, you’ve misunderstood us, it’s not that we don’t trust you...”

”Mainly because such high-risk training imposes too much psychological pressure and technical requirements on our dog trainers...”

”We may need to establish a specialized team for this, and the internal coordination for this is quite difficult...”

The other side kept rambling on about various difficulties, and Lin Yu’an’s patience was finally exhausted.

The authority he honed in the wilderness instantly passed through the phone.

”Enough.”

He only said two words, but that hint of impatience made the person in charge on the other end immediately shut up.

Lin Yu’an’s voice became calm but full of pressure: ”I don’t want to hear about your difficulties, I just want to ask you one question, can you handle this or not?” 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚

”Ten thousand US Dollars per month is the base training and placement fee for these three dogs, including all additional medical, paperwork processing, and what you call the specialized team’s expenses.”

”If you can’t handle it, I’ll hang up now and find another training base; Kunming doesn’t have just one base.”

Silence reigned on the other end of the line.

Lin Yu’an could even hear the slightly rapid breathing of the person suddenly.

Just when he thought the other side was going to hang up, a voice completely different from before exploded from the receiver: ”We can take it! We can take it! Teacher Lin! We absolutely can!”

”Rest assured! Not just three, even if you have ten, we can train them perfectly for you! We’ll make sure you’re satisfied!”

”Hmm?” Lin Yu’an was stunned.

He blinked, looking at the phone in his hand, his mind not immediately comprehending.

A few seconds later, he suddenly realized.

He understood that the other party was not genuinely worried about risks and responsibility from the very beginning.

Their narrative was merely a setup to raise the price, waiting for him, the big client, to offer an irresistible figure.

Lin Yu’an shook his head helplessly, having stayed too long in the direct business environment abroad, he found himself somewhat dulled to the implicit, nuanced communicative style domestically.

His pressure-filled ultimatum just now might not have been a threat to the other side, but a signal that the sponsor dad had finally impatiently revealed his hand.

”...That’s good.” Lin Yu’an’s tone also eased, ”Someone will connect with you soon regarding the contract and advance payment.”

”Great, great! Anytime! Teacher Lin, you carry on with your work!”

After hanging up the phone, Lin Yu’an’s heart was largely relieved. Although the process was somewhat ridiculous, the result was good.

He had planned a path for those three hunting dogs to allow their talents to shine again in a wider world in the future!
