Super Rich by Doing as You Please

”Hold on, let me go close the curtains first.”

Xu Yun watched as Su Mu went to close the curtains. The light and shadow playing across her sensual figure was beautiful and cinematic, creating a uniquely captivating scene.

Then, he also got up and joined her by the window, savoring the blissful moment of basking in the light together...

「Two hours later.」

Ning Qian and Yu Xuan tidied up for a while, but seeing it was getting late, they decided to eat first and finish up in the afternoon.

They went to the room next door and saw Su Mu busy in the kitchen while Xu Yun was in the living room watching TV, not helping at all.

So, the two of them went to help, only to find that Su Mu had just started cooking some noodles.

When Su Mu saw them, she smiled and explained, ”I was on the phone just now. After we talked for a bit, I realized I was running out of time, so I could only make some noodles for now. We can all have a nice dinner together tonight.”

’After Xu Yun held me up for so long, there’s no time to cook a proper meal. I’ll just have to make some noodles to tide the other two over for now.’

”It’s no problem, we both love noodles.”

Ning Qian smiled and said, ”Let’s help you. It’ll be quicker that way, and we can’t have our dear President Xu going hungry.”

”Alright. You two can wash some greens, and I’ll fry a few eggs.”

Although Ning Qian and Yu Xuan were ostensibly helping, they were both suspicious of Su Mu’s explanation.

’After all, they didn’t believe for a second that Xu Yun would behave himself!’

So while they helped, they covertly observed Su Mu, looking for anything unusual or any cracks in her story.

But they found nothing.

Soon, the simple noodles with egg were ready, and Xu Yun took his seat at the table to enjoy the ready-made meal.

They were eating peacefully when Su Mu suddenly felt a certain someone’s foot start to get frisky under the table.

Not daring to make any obvious movements, she secretly shot Xu Yun a look, telling him to back off.

Xu Yun ignored her, pretending he hadn’t seen it.

Finally unable to stand his pestering any longer, Su Mu stood up and said, ”It’s a little hot in here. I’m going to eat in the living room.”

Then she quickly fled from the table.

”That’s strange. I don’t feel hot at all.”

A little puzzled, Ning Qian turned to Yu Xuan beside her. ”Are you hot?”

”Not at all.”

”Weird. I don’t feel hot either.”

The culprit, Xu Yun, chuckled as he ate. ”I guess Su Mu can’t handle the heat. She’s not like you two.”

After lunch, Ning Qian and Yu Xuan went to do the dishes.

Xu Yun and Su Mu sat on the living room sofa, looking at each other until Su Mu shot him an indignant glare.

”Can’t you behave yourself when people are around?”

Xu Yun nodded in agreement. ”Absolutely. Next time, I’ll definitely control myself and won’t mess around.”

Su Mu was speechless.

’Like hell I believe you!’

When Ning Qian and Yu Xuan came out after cleaning up, Su Mu said, ”I have things to do at the office this afternoon, so I’m heading out. You two can stay here and help Ning Qian finish unpacking.”

”Oh, you don’t have to. There’s not much left to do anyway.”

Ning Qian added diplomatically, ”Secretary Yu, you should get to work too. Don’t worry about me. I can finish up on my own this afternoon.”

Yu Xuan looked to Xu Yun.

Xu Yun said, ”Alright, you go to the office and help Su Mu. I’ll stay and help Ning Qian finish up here.”

”Okay,” Yu Xuan agreed.

Su Mu was speechless.

’Could you two act any faker? It’s so obvious you want to be alone together.’

The moment the two of them were out the door, Xu Yun received a private message from Su Mu.

”Anywhere else in the apartment is fine, but you are not allowed on my bed!”

Xu Yun was speechless.

’Fine, fine. It’s your private domain. I won’t go, I won’t go.’

’I’ll just go mess around in her room then. That should be fine, right?’

With no outsiders around, Xu Yun said to Ning Qian, ”Come on, let’s go. I’ll help you organize all that lingerie you have piled everywhere.”

”Oh.”

Catching his meaning, Ning Qian smiled. ”Then you’d better help me organize it *thoroughly*.”

Back in her room, Ning Qian couldn’t wait to put on a sexy lingerie show for Xu Yun.

As a result, after a few hours of her ”performance,” the room was even messier than it had been before.

All kinds of clothes were scattered across the floor.

Xu Yun gently tapped her on the nose. ”You three go out for dinner tonight. I have something to do, so I won’t be joining you. Remember to let the others know.”

”Mmm.”

Sprawled on the sofa with a rosy flush on her cheeks, Ning Qian gave a listless reply.

After Xu Yun left, she went to the bathroom, took a shower, and came out in a bathrobe. She looked at the clothes all over the floor and thought, ’I’ll just clean this up later.’

Right now, she was so tired she just wanted to sleep.

Xu Yun left the apartment and, instead of driving, went straight to the fitness center.

’I’ve been neglecting Li Jinshu a bit lately.’

’But it seems she’s been so busy with the renovations that she’s completely forgotten about me. Not a single phone call or WeChat message.’

When he reached the fourth floor, he didn’t see Li Jinshu. Instead, he saw his former trainer, Zhang Jiaxin.

’She’s Manager Zhang now.’

’I haven’t seen her in a week, and her figure has gotten even better.’

As soon as Zhang Jiaxin saw Xu Yun, she walked over warmly and greeted him respectfully, ”President Xu, what brings you here? Didn’t President Li say you were on a business trip?”

”I just got back today, so I thought I’d stop by and check in.”

Xu Yun asked with a smile, ”So, is your President Li not in today?”

”She went to the factory with a distributor this afternoon to inspect some merchandise.”

Zhang Jiaxin replied, ”I think they also invited her to dinner tonight to negotiate the price.”

Xu Yun frowned. ”Where?”

”I believe it’s at Dongli·Fanghu Shang.”

”Alright, I understand.”

Xu Yun nodded and said with a smile, ”I saw on your Moments that you’ve been sticking with your workouts even after you get home.”

”Yes. As a manager and trainer at the fitness center, if I don’t maintain a good physique and professional image myself, how can I expect our clients to trust us?”
