Super Rich by Doing as You Please

Xu Yun said he would buy him a new outfit.

They went to a store with an English name he didn’t recognize, where he let Jiang Ping’an pick out a nice pair of sneakers.

Jiang Peiyao took a peek at the price tag: over 5,000 yuan.

Then, Xu Yun had a salesperson put together a matching shirt and pants for him, which came to over 20,000 yuan.

After changing into his new clothes, Jiang Ping’an looked much more energetic and stylish. The only thing was, due to his illness, his skin was still pale and wan.

His hair, in particular, had completely fallen out.

But he wore a hat, so it wasn’t too obvious.

After buying the clothes, Xu Yun took Jiang Ping’an to a toy store and bought him two toys. They weren’t large, but they were very expensive, costing over 7,000 yuan.

Jiang Peiyao tried to reason with him from the side. ”You shouldn’t spoil him so much. It’s a waste to buy him such expensive things.”

”Alright then. It wouldn’t be a waste if I bought something for you, would it?”

Xu Yun smiled. ”Come on. We won’t buy much today. Just a bracelet and a bag. After that, we’ll get lunch.”

Jiang Peiyao shook her head. ”I don’t want anything. Everything here is too expensive.”

”Fine, you can say no.”

Xu Yun said with a meaningful look, ”If you’ve got the guts, you can say no tonight, too.”

The oblivious Jiang Ping’an, standing to the side, asked in confusion, ”Sis, why are you blushing?”

Jiang Peiyao was speechless.

’Women love to say one thing and mean another. Day or night, their lips say no, but in their hearts, they want it more than anyone.’

Inside the Cartier boutique, her eyes were glued to the exquisite bracelets in the display case. She couldn’t look away.

The salesperson could tell at a glance that Jiang Peiyao couldn’t afford to shop there, but the man beside her, Xu Yun, was a different story.

The watch he casually revealed on his wrist meant she didn’t dare underestimate him.

It was a Patek Philippe Celestial, worth several million yuan.

So, when she addressed Jiang Peiyao, she was still full of enthusiasm, eagerly presenting their products.

Everything was so beautiful that Jiang Peiyao couldn’t decide which one to choose. In the end, she had Jiang Ping’an pick one for her: a classic, wide-band Cartier LOVE bracelet in yellow gold, set with four diamonds.

It was made of 18K gold, set with four brilliant diamonds, and priced at 72,000 yuan.

When Jiang Peiyao put it on, it made her skin look fairer and gave her an elegant air.

Seeing that she liked it, Xu Yun nodded and bought it for her. She didn’t even take it off, leaving it right there on her wrist.

With the bracelet taken care of, the only thing left was a handbag.

’My savings have almost hit a small fortune, so there’s no need to be stingy.’ He took them straight to Hermes to buy a small blue handbag, just big enough for her phone and a few small items.

It wasn’t cheap, costing over 80,000 yuan.

However, the salesperson told him he’d have to buy other merchandise worth 1.5 times the bag’s price just to be eligible to purchase it.

’Screw that. I’m not playing your game.’

Xu Yun immediately led them out of the store. They went to the Louis Vuitton boutique instead, where he bought a bag for over 90,000 yuan.

Thanks to his previous purchases, his membership card at this store truly made him a VIP.

He received a level of service far beyond that of ordinary customers.

In truth, Xu Yun hadn’t spent that much money at the mall today, all things considered. He was completely unfazed, as if it were just another ordinary day.

He was so calm that even the system didn’t give him any rewards.

Jiang Peiyao noted that from the moment they entered the mall to the moment they left, both she and her brother had gotten new things, while he hadn’t bought a single item for himself.

’But that made sense,’ she thought. ’For someone at his level, these luxury goods probably don’t interest him anymore.’

’Unlike her. Just having a Cartier bracelet and a Louis Vuitton bag was enough to make her heart race for a long time. It felt as unreal as a dream.’

Checking the time, the three of them went to a Black Pearl Restaurant for lunch. After a wonderful meal, they headed straight for the amusement park.

Xu Yun rode the roller coaster and the pendulum swing with Jiang Peiyao, and he rode the carousel with Jiang Ping’an.

Finally, the three of them rode the Ferris wheel together.

「The sun began to set.」

When their car reached the very top of the Ferris wheel, Jiang Peiyao looked at Xu Yun. Forgetting that her brother, Jiang Ping’an, was right there with them, she couldn’t stop herself from leaning in and kissing him.

”Xu Yun, thank you for today!”

Seeing this, Jiang Ping’an tilted his head, a curious look on his face. ”Sis, what are you doing?”

”You’re just a little kid. Don’t ask about grown-up stuff.”

Xu Yun gently turned the boy’s head away and smiled. ”Quick, close your eyes. Count to 100 before you open them, and I’ll give you some candy.”
