Super Rich by Doing as You Please

After Jian Shiwai left, Xu Yun sat alone with a pot of tea, drinking for a long time.

At one point, he tried brewing a pot himself, mimicking Jian Shiwai’s steps. Though his technique was clumsy and unpracticed, the tea he made seemed decent enough.

If any well-known figures from the tea world had seen this, they probably would have had a fit, cursing him for such a monstrous waste—using Mother Tree Da Hong Pao just to practice!

He had originally planned to look up RVs, but as he browsed, he lost interest and tuned into Song Xiaowei’s late-night radio show instead.

’With this much time on my hands, I might as well go to the dealership tomorrow, see the actual vehicles, and listen to a salesperson’s pitch.’

It wasn’t until he’d finished the second pot of tea and Song Xiaowei’s show had ended that Xu Yun started to feel sleepy and went upstairs to bed.

「The next morning.」

He slept until he woke up naturally. Getting out of bed, he stretched comfortably, feeling perfectly content as he gazed at the scenery outside his window.

’I feel like it’s been a long time since I’ve slept alone. It’s actually quite nice to do it once in a while.’

’I suppose I should go meet up with the ladies today.’

After washing up and finishing breakfast, Xu Yun drove his Bentley directly to a large Mercedes-Benz dealership nearby.

As soon as he drove through the main gate, a salesperson came forward to guide him into a parking spot and even proactively opened his car door for him.

Xu Yun got out of the car and teased, ”You offer this kind of service too?”

”Not for most people.”

The saleswoman glanced at his Bentley and smiled. ”But you can have it, handsome.”

Of course. How could she not be enthusiastic with a customer who drives a multi-million-dollar Bentley?

After all, as long as she provided good service, this was a premium customer who was practically guaranteed to buy a car.

”I like your attitude. You might become a top salesperson someday.”

”You’re not just handsome, you’re a smooth talker too, sir.”

The saleswoman smiled happily. ”I was wondering what brings you to our dealership today, sir? Are you looking for a particular type of vehicle?

A sedan, or perhaps an SUV? I can show you either and give you a detailed breakdown of its features.”

”Neither.”

Xu Yun shook his head. ”Do you have any RVs at this dealership? I want to buy an RV for traveling.”

”An RV?”

The saleswoman paused for a moment, then said, ”Sir, what a coincidence! We just got a brand-new model in the showroom today. Let me take you to see it.”

”Alright, lead the way.”

The saleswoman led him to a brand-new RV with a predominantly blue body.

The saleswoman began her introduction. ”This is the Yutong Yonghe Flagship MAX, a powerhouse collaboration between Yutong and Mercedes-Benz.

Its chassis is built on our Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 519 platform. It’s powered by a 2.0T inline four-cylinder diesel engine paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission, delivering a maximum power of 155 kilowatts and a maximum torque of 460 Newton-meters.

The vehicle’s power and balance are both excellent.”

Xu Yun looked at the beast before him and asked doubtfully, ”Does this vehicle take a blue plate or a yellow plate?”

’He had to be sure about this.’

He had a C-class license, and if it required a yellow plate, he would have to get a B-class license first or hire a separate driver.

”The vehicle is 4,999 mm long, 2,530 mm wide, and 3,140 mm high.”

The saleswoman explained, ”It’s a blue plate. You only need a C-class license to drive it.”

”That’s good.”

Xu Yun said, ”Tell me more about the vehicle’s construction and features.”

”Of course, sir.”

The saleswoman began her practiced pitch, starting with the exterior. ”The vehicle’s entire design is inspired by the Kunpeng, a mythical beast from Chinese folklore. It embodies a classical Chinese aesthetic, symbolizing the freedom to soar between heaven and earth.

The deep blue primary color of the body is gorgeous and eye-catching, representing the sea of stars, poetry, and distant lands.

And if you look, the entire exterior is completely free of rubber sealing strips, ensuring a tight seal. The door is also a luxurious, intelligent, soft-closing door.

This is a feature you’d typically only find on a Mercedes S-Level, a BMW 7 Series, or an Audi A8.

Not only that, but it also has facial recognition for keyless entry.

Now, let’s talk about insulation.

This vehicle has a 47.8-millimeter-thick reinforced body with a thermal break layer, a full layer of aerospace-grade aerogel, and an insulated coating on the floor.

So even if you’re in an environment that’s ten degrees below zero Celsius, the interior will stay as warm as spring.”

With that, the saleswoman opened the door, led Xu Yun inside, and continued to describe the interior layout.

The entire interior of the vehicle has a gray color scheme and a design without a central ceiling light, giving it a cozier, more residential feel.

All the surfaces within reach are wrapped in leather, giving it a very premium texture. As for basic functions like a kitchen and a refrigerator, it has all of them.

The over-cab bed and the transverse rear bed are both large enough to sleep two people each. It also has a 60-inch projector and a Bose sound system.

At this point, she took off her shoes and got onto the bed herself to demonstrate.

The sight of the young woman in a hip-hugging skirt and silk stockings lying on the bed was filled with an ambiguous temptation.

Then, in the center of the vehicle, there are two airline-style captain’s chairs, a table, and a small sofa, which can seat four people, making for a very comfortable ride.

Furthermore, the entire vehicle is built with ENF-grade environmentally friendly materials, so even though it’s brand new, there’s no new-car smell.”

The saleswoman’s presentation was very comprehensive, and Xu Yun listened carefully to all the features. After all, if he bought it, he would need to know how to operate everything himself.

He was quite satisfied with this vehicle and didn’t feel the need to look at any others.

They both climbed out of the RV. Eager to close the deal, the saleswoman smiled and said, ”Sir, if you have your driver’s license with you, I can ask my manager for permission to accompany you on a short test drive.

If there’s anything you’re unsure about, I can explain the various functions in detail while we drive.”
