The Valued Lady is Truly Dominant

Chapter 1047: Chapter 1047: Claiming Him and Showing Off Their Love

The group sat kneeling on the cushions, each holding a cup of kuding tea on their wrists, and Princess Zhou glanced intentionally at Wen Zishan’s posture, feeling as though the sweetness in her tea had vanished.

It’s often said that Madam Wen comes from the Wang family, renowned for their impeccable manners and etiquette. Observing Wen Zishan’s behavior, it’s evident she’s been trained by a professional tutor or a seasoned nanny, no wonder the Empress praised her.

What a pity, merely a facade.

No matter how perfect the etiquette, there remains the ignorance of decorum, an unashamed woman.

”I didn’t expect Princess to also come to Songshan Temple to pray; what a coincidence.” Madam Song broke the silence first.

With a soft smile, Princess Zhou replied, ”I believe Madam is aware that I’ve given birth only a few months ago, precisely around the same time as your little son.”

”Indeed, I know of it, and I haven’t congratulated the Princess yet, such happiness for having a noble son.” Madam Song graciously offered her congratulations with a smile.

Mentioning her beloved child, Princess Zhou’s slightly rounded face gained a few hints of maternal glow, as she gently smiled, ”Thank you, thank you. I came here for my dear boy, to light a longevity lamp for him and the Prince, and to seek a few peace charms to bring home. Unexpectedly, I’ve encountered you and Madam.”

”With such maternal love from the Princess, surely Heaven will bless, and the little prince shall be healthy and safe.”

Princess Zhou continued, ”That is my hope, and to be honest, it was quite a struggle during his birth, and after finally bringing him into the world, the Prince and I have been filled with constant worry. The Prince even more so, for whenever the boy sneezes, he immediately sends for the Imperial Physician, and whenever he’s at home, he must first hold his son, pushing everyone else aside.”

Madam Song’s gaze fluttered slightly, and she laughed softly, ”That’s how it is for new parents, You and the Prince are first-time parents, after all, so the nervousness is natural. When more children come along, things will be different.”

”Perhaps that’s true, the Prince insisted I sit through two confinement periods for proper recovery before having more children.” Princess Zhou chuckled, feigning shyness.

”The Prince and the Princess are truly affectionate.” Madam Song sipped her tea with a faint smile, thinking to herself that Princess Zhou was still young, reckless with her words, not realizing some conversations require discretion based on the occasion.

Like now, she deliberately flaunts her affection in front of Madam Wen and her daughter, forgetting Wen Zishan has yet to be married. Speaking of having more children in front of a young girl is somewhat improper.

Of course, there might be subtle guidance from herself, and the other party is indeed purposeful.

Madam Wen truly struggled to hold back, thinking that this Princess Zhou, claimed to be the legitimate daughter of the Minister of Rites, surely knows what propriety is? Talking of bedroom matters in front of unmarried girls, isn’t it too oppressive!

Initially shy, Wen Zishan grew slightly irritated, realizing the other party was declaring her sovereignty, boasting of her deep affection with Prince Zhou?

Aside from the irritation, there was a trace of bitterness, acknowledging that the declaration came from someone who had the right.

Princess Zhou suddenly seemed to notice her blunder, letting out a small gasp: ”Look at me, I’ve forgotten there’s a young girl present, got carried away talking about children, Madam Wen, I hope you can forgive me for this time.”

Madam Wen forced a smile: ”The Princess is too kind, it’s nothing significant.”

Princess Zhou grinned, ”Indeed, Miss Wen has reached the age for marriage, she will experience all these in the future, harmonizing with her husband.”

Following Madam Wen’s cue, it was yet another perfect moment for Wen Zishan to shyly excuse herself, but then?
