I AM the Football Star

Chapter 92: Chapter 37: Champion’s Pack, On to Brazil! (Part 3)

In response, Lu Yang said, whether you’re jealous of me doesn’t matter, just don’t be jealous of Sofia.

Morici hung up the phone right away, jealous of your grandpa!

...

The follow-up news of Lu Yang and Sofia living together made countless European men crumble.

Media found Lu Yang training at a personal football field beside a beach villa.

Reporter: ”May I ask you and Sofia...”

Lu Yang: ”Sofia isn’t here. She’s off filming.”

Reporter: ”Then why are you in her villa? When do you plan to make it public?”

Lu Yang: ”We’re just ordinary friends. Sofia asked me to house-sit, and coincidentally there’s a training field here, so I accepted the job.”

Reporter: ”Uh... what are your thoughts on a relationship with an older woman?”

Lu Yang: ”Love is free, and at the moment, both Sofia and I are at crucial stages in our careers, so we’ll focus on work first...”

Sofia saw this interview of Lu Yang on TV, and she felt a little disappointed.

Indeed, focusing on work at this stage is also better for her, but she still hopes to have something special develop with Lu Yang. Of course, she’s not in a hurry. She knows how to give Lu Yang more time and space.

This is the advantage of a mature woman.

They know when to show up, like at Lu Yang’s championship contention match, Sofia attended dressed to the nines.

They also know when to step back, like this holiday, Lu Yang made it clear he wanted to train well to face the new challenges of the next season.

They wouldn’t cling like immature girls, leaving no breathing space for their boyfriend.

Sometimes, love is like sand in your hand; the tighter you grasp it, the faster it slips away.

So...

”Lu, are you resting... I just finished filming today’s scenes and got back to the room... How are you feeling today, does the wound still hurt... I saw your news on TV. If you don’t want to talk, you don’t have to pay attention to them... Am I talking too much, interrupting your rest? Are you a little annoyed by this... Glad if not, I encountered something funny today...”

Even after a long day, Sofia still smiled as she lay in bed talking nonstop. Although Lu Yang soon started snoring on the other side, Sofia found happiness in this.

She understands many principles but can’t help wanting to call Lu Yang every day.

Perhaps this is love.

It turns all reason into air, with no logic at all.

...

As the Italian D Division season ended, the official began to announce various data awards.

Italian D League Golden Boot: Vedian.

Italian D League Assist King: Morici.

Italian D League Breakout King: Lu Yang.

Italian D League Interception King: Lu Yang.

Italian D League Aerial Duel King: Madudi.

Italian D League Clearance King: Borges.

Italian D League Best Rookie: Morici.

Italian D League Best Goal: Lu Yang, for the 33-meter stunning bicycle kick against Bisceglie.

Italian D League Best Coach: Sotu.

Italian D League Best Player: Lu Yang.

Italian D League Best XI: Lu Yang, Morici, Vedian, Talista...

San Remo can be said to be the biggest winner of the Italian D League honors this year.

If it weren’t for Rondo missing too many matches this season, he most likely would have made it into the Best XI as well.

These honors aren’t for nothing; the league officials will award medals, bonuses, and other prizes to these honorees, and the team will also issue extra bonuses.

It can be said that the announcement of these awards allowed players like Lu Yang and Morici to experience a significant economic recovery.

After all, the Italian D Division is a low-level event, and the salary the players receive is really not high.

The salary of an ordinary Italian D Division player is about the same as doing construction work, without being as labor-intensive, and playing football is still a respectable job.

Of course, star players like Lu Yang and Morici earn significantly more, even if Lu Yang is still on a youth training player subsidy, it’s just a different name.

Arthas’s professionalism in this regard is reassuring.

About ten days passed, and in the Italian Football scene, the situation changed dramatically.

A major piece of news exploded the Italian Third Division!
