Upon hearing Yusuke Uchiha accept his challenge, Kenpachi Zaraki’s already wide grin widened further. He unleashed a ferocious swing with his heavily damaged, saw-toothed Zanpakutō, aiming it directly at Yusuke Uchiha.

Kenpachi Zaraki held nothing back, pouring all his Reiatsu into the attack. He fully expected that the man before him, radiating an aura of immense power, would not be easily defeated.

Yachiru Kusajishi leaped back, putting herself safely out of the immediate range of the clash. Whenever Kenpachi Zaraki engaged in combat, Yachiru Kusajishi would faithfully observe from a safe distance, offering words of encouragement and support should he find himself at a disadvantage.

”Clang!”

A sharp, metallic clang echoed through the chamber, causing both Kenpachi Zaraki and the observing Yachiru Kusajishi to register expressions of utter disbelief.

With astonishing ease, Yusuke Uchiha had deflected Kenpachi Zaraki’s full-powered strike using only two fingers.

The sharp sound had originated from the impact of Kenpachi Zaraki’s Zanpakutō against Yusuke Uchiha’s solidified spiritual pressure.

After a brief moment of stunned silence, Kenpachi Zaraki, far from experiencing any sense of fear or discouragement, displayed an even more pronounced expression of exhilaration.

”Unbelievable! Absolutely incredible!” Kenpachi Zaraki roared, his voice echoing through the chamber, ”I have only ever witnessed such an overwhelming display of spiritual pressure emanating from the Captain-Commander of the Gotei 13!”

With a thunderous cry, Kenpachi Zaraki’s spiritual pressure surged, increasing by nearly double the intensity of his previous, self-proclaimed full-power attack.

He launched another attack with his Zanpakutō, yet the outcome remained unchanged. His blade was effortlessly deflected by Yusuke Uchiha’s hand.

At this juncture, Yusuke Uchiha could discern that Kenpachi Zaraki was currently operating at the nadir of his capabilities.

Having long been deprived of formidable adversaries capable of pushing him to his limits, Kenpachi Zaraki’s combat prowess had gradually diminished, his body and spirit acclimating to environments that provided only a modicum of the exhilarating thrill of true combat.

His current strength was noticeably inferior to what it had been during their previous encounter.

With a speed that Kenpachi Zaraki was incapable of perceiving, Yusuke Uchiha drew his Zanpakutō, executing a swift and precise strike before returning the blade to its scabbard with equal swiftness.

A spray of crimson blood erupted into the air as Kenpachi Zaraki, his eyes wide with shock and disbelief, collapsed to the ground, a gaping wound marring his chest.

”The contest is concluded, Kenpachi Zaraki,” Yusuke Uchiha declared, his voice devoid of any emotion. ”In your current state, you are not yet deemed worthy of assuming a high-ranking position within Las Noches. For the time being, you shall serve as Yachiru Kusajishi’s subordinate.”

Although Yusuke Uchiha expressed some disappointment with the level of power Kenpachi Zaraki had demonstrated, he harbored no intention of abandoning him. Instead, he planned to allow Kenpachi Zaraki to gradually restore his combat prowess through a series of rigorous engagements.

Yachiru Kusajishi, accustomed to witnessing Kenpachi Zaraki’s frequent injuries, remained unfazed by the sight of his grievous wound. Moreover, she readily perceived that Yusuke Uchiha had no intention of causing Kenpachi Zaraki any lasting harm. With a calm and steady hand, she proceeded to tend to his wounds.

Kenpachi Zaraki, however, remained in a state of stunned disbelief, his eyes wide as he stared out through the transparent ceiling of Las Noches at the boundless expanse of the night sky.

Kenpachi Zaraki struggled to comprehend the reasons behind his utter defeat, convinced that this was not a true reflection of his capabilities. He was certain that, even if he had been unable to prevail against the formidable Yusuke Uchiha, he should have at least been able to experience the exhilarating thrill of a truly challenging and rewarding battle, rather than this crushing sense of utter defeat.

Having completed the task of tending to Kenpachi Zaraki’s wounds, Yachiru Kusajishi turned her attention to Yusuke Uchiha, her voice laced with curiosity. ”Does this mean that I am now Ken-chan’s superior?” she inquired.

Yusuke Uchiha responded with a gentle smile, stroking Yachiru Kusajishi’s head affectionately. Simultaneously, a black crow descended from the heavens, its shadow imprinted upon Yachiru Kusajishi’s arm in the form of a distinctive crow mark.

After meticulously explaining the significance and function of the crow mark to Yachiru Kusajishi, Yusuke Uchiha formally announced her appointment to the position of Chairwoman of Las Noches’ Women’s Association.

Given Yachiru Kusajishi’s previous role as the head of the Women’s Shinigami Association within the Seireitei, Yusuke Uchiha was confident that she possessed the requisite skills and experience to excel in this new capacity.

Upon hearing Yusuke Uchiha’s proclamation, Yachiru Kusajishi’s eyes lit up with excitement. With a playful yet determined gesture, she delivered a resounding pat to Kenpachi Zaraki’s chest. ”Ken-chan,” she announced, her voice brimming with enthusiasm, ”from this day forward, you shall serve as the Vice-Chairman of Las Noches’ Women’s Association!”

Yachiru Kusajishi’s announcement jolted Kenpachi Zaraki from his state of stunned silence, only to plunge him into an even deeper state of bewilderment.

”A seasoned warrior such as myself, reduced to the position of Vice-Chairman of the Women’s Association?” he mused incredulously.

On the second day following the integration of Kenpachi Zaraki and Yachiru Kusajishi into the ranks of Las Noches, Yusuke Uchiha convened a gathering of all high-ranking members of the organization to formulate a comprehensive strategy for the next phase of their expansion.

Within the vast confines of the opulent throne room, Yusuke Uchiha occupied the elevated throne, his presence commanding the attention of all present.

To his left, seated in order of seniority, were Baraggan Louisenbairn, serving as the Grand Administrator, and Harribel, appointed as the Head of the Guard.

To his right, occupying positions of considerable influence, were Mayuri Kurotsuchi, the Director of the Research and Development Institute, and Yachiru Kusajishi, the newly appointed Chairwoman of the Women’s Association.

Kenpachi Zaraki, in his capacity as Yachiru Kusajishi’s subordinate, was granted special permission to enter the throne room, where he stood attentively behind his superior.

”Esteemed colleagues,” Yusuke Uchiha declared, his voice resonating with authority, ”from this day forward, we shall resolutely pursue the ambitious goal of unifying the entirety of Hueco Mundo. The initial phase of this undertaking shall entail the formation of an elite team of exceptionally powerful Hollows, to be known as the ’Espada’.”

”Each member of the Espada,” Yusuke Uchiha continued, his voice measured and deliberate, ”shall bear a responsibility analogous to that of a captain within the esteemed ranks of the Gotei 13. They will be charged with leading their respective subordinates and maintaining the unwavering rule of Las Noches, thereby ensuring that the entirety of Hueco Mundo is brought under the complete and absolute control of Las Noches.”

Although the individuals present remained uncertain as to the rationale behind the selection of the appellation ”Espada” for this newly formed elite unit, none dared to voice their queries.

”At present, Baraggan Louisenbairn and Harribel have already demonstrated the requisite qualifications to be inducted into the esteemed ranks of the Espada,” Yusuke Uchiha announced, his voice firm and resolute.

”As for the remaining eight positions, I shall personally undertake the recruitment of two Vasto Lorde-class Hollows. The task of identifying and securing the remaining six candidates will fall to Harribel and Kenpachi Zaraki.”

Yusuke Uchiha’s strategic allocation of responsibilities was predicated upon the dual objectives of providing Kenpachi Zaraki with ample opportunities to hone his combat skills and simultaneously ensuring that Harribel served as a stabilizing influence upon Kenpachi Zaraki’s potentially unrestrained aggression.

The myriad of exceedingly powerful Adjuchas inhabiting Hueco Mundo would provide Kenpachi Zaraki with an ideal environment to gradually restore his combat prowess.

Harribel’s presence, meanwhile, would serve the dual purpose of mitigating any potential mishaps on Kenpachi Zaraki’s part and preventing the premature demise of exceptionally powerful Hollows at the hands of Kenpachi Zaraki’s unrestrained and potentially lethal attacks.

Having concluded his exposition of the strategic plan, Yusuke Uchiha turned his attention towards Baraggan Louisenbairn, who occupied the position of seniority on his left. ”The news of Las Noches’ recruitment efforts has been disseminated, has it not?” he inquired. ”Have you identified any individuals who possess the potential to become valuable assets to our organization?”

Baraggan Louisenbairn responded with utmost deference. ”Yusuke-sama,” he replied, his voice respectful, ”in accordance with the criteria you have established for spiritual pressure, no Hollows have yet emerged who meet the stringent requirements for Espada status. The most formidable Hollows we have encountered thus far have only attained the rank of officer.”

Yusuke Uchiha nodded in acknowledgment. ”I am aware of this,” he responded.

This development was entirely anticipated by Yusuke Uchiha.

Hollows possessing the requisite spiritual pressure to qualify for Espada status were, without exception, dominant figures within their respective territories and would have little incentive to relinquish their autonomy and pledge allegiance to Las Noches.

However, for Yusuke Uchiha, whose ambition is to establish absolute control over Hueco Mundo, the reign of these independent Hollows is drawing to a close. They will be presented with an ultimatum: either submit to the authority of Las Noches or face annihilation.

Upon the conclusion of the meeting, Kenpachi Zaraki and Harribel sought out Baraggan Louisenbairn, obtaining intelligence regarding the locations of numerous formidable Hollows, and prepared to embark upon their mission to recruit these powerful beings into their ranks.

Meanwhile, Yusuke Uchiha made his way to the Research and Development Institute, where he engaged in a discussion with Mayuri Kurotsuchi concerning future research initiatives.

For Yusuke Uchiha, the Research and Development Institute represented the most crucial component of his overall strategy.
