Within the Kamui dimension, Yusuke Uchiha, eyes closed, sat upon a levitating stone throne, quietly reflecting upon the knowledge he had accumulated over the past fifteen years.

Thanks to the data obtained from the Shinigami Academy, he had successfully mastered all commonly employed Shinigami techniques and Kidō spells. Furthermore, he had unearthed the method for utilizing Shunpo within a highly classified document.

Shunpo is a technique that seamlessly integrates Kidō and Hakuda, enabling Shinigami to employ Kidō with enhanced flexibility and effectiveness in combat.

One can conceptualize Kidō users as analogous to mages, while Hakuda practitioners can be likened to swordsmen or warriors.

Shinigami who have mastered Shunpo, therefore, resemble magic swordsmen or magic warriors, capable of imbuing their attacks with the potent force of Kidō.

During the execution of Shunpo, the user’s back and shoulders become enveloped in a highly compressed concentration of Kidō, which subsequently detonates, resulting in a seamless integration of Kidō and the user’s physical limbs, facilitating a heightened level of combat proficiency.

The inventor of Shunpo is Yoruichi Shihōin, a notable figure among the select few Shinigami who eschew the use of Zanpakutō in combat.

Prior to the emergence of Ōetsu Nimaiya, the revered ”God of Blades,” Zanpakutō were nonexistent within Soul Society. During this era, Shinigami relied upon Kidō, Hakuda, and a variety of other techniques to engage in combat.

Even after Ōetsu Nimaiya commenced the creation of Zanpakutō for the Shinigami, a number of Shinigami opted to retain their traditional combat methods, particularly those hailing from ancient Shinigami lineages. Yoruichi Shihōin stands as a prominent example of this tradition.

The majority of these Shinigami adhere to the principle of ”Reiatsu Supremacy,” asserting that the attainment of sufficient Reiatsu renders existing combat strategies entirely adequate for subduing their adversaries.

In addition to the diverse combat techniques detailed in the materials obtained from the Shinigami Academy, Yusuke Uchiha also acquired a wealth of invaluable data from the Research and Development Institute. Among his discoveries, the most astonishing was the method for creating a Hogyoku, a revelation that left him profoundly surprised.

The Hogyoku is a gem imbued with extraordinary power and possesses a degree of self-awareness.

It possesses the unique ability to absorb the essence of the ”heart” of objects within its immediate vicinity, subsequently manifesting them into tangible forms.

Furthermore, it confers upon its wielder the remarkable ability to safeguard their physical form from death, ensuring their immortality.

When the wielder’s abilities approach their zenith or their life is threatened, the Hogyoku facilitates an endless progression to the next dimensional level.

While both Kisuke Urahara and Aizen had each independently created a Hogyoku—Kisuke Urahara utilizing the souls of Hollows, and Aizen employing the souls of Shinigami—it is highly improbable that either of them was the true inventor of this remarkable artifact.

Were either of them the original inventor, it would be inconceivable that they would have divulged the intricate methods of its creation to their rival.

In the original storyline, Aizen achieved the creation of a complete Hogyoku only after merging his own creation with that of Kisuke Urahara.

”If my hypothesis is correct,” Yusuke Uchiha mused to himself, ”then the original inventor, or perhaps more accurately, the initial conceptualizer of the Hogyoku, never actually completed the creation of a fully functional Hogyoku.

It was merely an immature concept, which explains why this particular body of data did not attract the attention of the Seireitei’s high command and remained sealed away, ultimately allowing both Kisuke Urahara and Aizen to gain access to it.”

Based on the considerable amount of time that both Kisuke Urahara and Aizen expended in their respective efforts to create a Hogyoku, Yusuke Uchiha surmised that the method detailed in the document he possessed was likely still in its nascent stages of development, requiring significant refinement and modification before it could be successfully employed to produce a fully functional Hogyoku.

Abruptly, a flash of brilliance illuminated Yusuke Uchiha’s eyes, and a daring concept crystallized within his mind.

”The extraordinary power wielded by Ichigo Kurosaki stems from the fusion of Hollow, Shinigami, and Quincy energies within his being,” Yusuke Uchiha mused aloud.

”If I were to acquire both Kisuke Urahara’s and Aizen’s Hogyoku, and subsequently fabricate a third Hogyoku utilizing the souls of Quincy, the fusion of these three potent artifacts would undoubtedly result in the attainment of unparalleled power.”

The contemplation of this audacious plan ignited a fervent desire within Yusuke Uchiha’s heart.

Yusuke Uchiha acknowledged that the realization of this ambitious objective would necessitate a significant enhancement of his current capabilities.

Moreover, he recognized that Quincy souls are not as readily available as those of Shinigami or Hollows, rendering the acquisition of a sufficient quantity of Quincy souls for the creation of a Hogyoku an insurmountable task.

The only viable strategy, therefore, would be to substitute quality for quantity, employing the soul of Yhwach, the formidable king of the Quincy, as the foundational element of his creation.

Among the data he had acquired, Yusuke Uchiha had inadvertently stumbled upon a piece of information that piqued his intense interest.

To verify the validity of this information, however, he required the assistance of his Zanpakutō, Ryūjin Jakka.

Entering the confines of his inner world, Yusuke Uchiha summoned Ryūjin Jakka into his presence.

Gazing upon Ryūjin Jakka, whose appearance was an exact replica of his own, Yusuke Uchiha posed a question with measured deliberation.

”You must possess another form, a form that mirrors that of the current Captain-Commander of the Gotei 13, Yamamoto Genryūsai Shigekuni,” he suggested.

Upon hearing Yusuke Uchiha’s inquiry, Ryūjin Jakka responded with a wry smile, revealing a set of sharp teeth.

”It appears that you have indeed made a keen observation,” Ryūjin Jakka confirmed. ”However, rest assured, as a Zanpakutō, I remain steadfastly impartial. I shall not divulge any information pertaining to him, and he, in turn, shall receive no information concerning you from me.”

Within one of the documents he had acquired, Yusuke Uchiha made a startling discovery: the possibility of a single Zanpakutō being wielded by multiple individuals.

The reasons for this practice being strictly prohibited by the Seireitei’s high command remained unclear.

Should two Shinigami be found to wield the same Zanpakutō, they would be compelled to engage in a duel to the death, with the victor inheriting the Zanpakutō and the vanquished being summarily executed.

”I hardly need you to tell me that,” Yusuke Uchiha remarked, his voice laced with a hint of apprehension. ”He’s likely already aware of my existence.”

Ryūjin Jakka responded with a chuckle. ”That is only natural, for you both share the power that I embody.”

”In your previous state, your Reiatsu was negligible, and the fraction of my power that you drew upon was inconsequential.

Consequently, he remained oblivious to your existence. Even if he had harbored any suspicion, he might have attributed any perceived decline in his own power to the effects of aging,” Ryūjin Jakka explained.

”However, since your arrival in this world, the phenomenon of ’Reiatsu Compensation’ has resulted in a significant augmentation of your spiritual pressure. While it still pales in comparison to his, it is no longer possible to conceal your presence from him.

Furthermore, as you continue to cultivate your abilities, the proportion of my power that you command will inevitably increase, and he will undoubtedly become intolerant of your existence.”

A chilling glint flickered within Yusuke Uchiha’s eyes. ”And I, likewise, shall not tolerate his existence,” he declared resolutely.

Ryūjin Jakka’s form gradually dissolved into a swirling vortex of flames, vanishing completely. Before its dissipation, however, a single sentence resonated within Yusuke Uchiha’s mind.

”Therefore, hasten your progress towards attaining unparalleled strength,” the voice of Ryūjin Jakka echoed. ”Only the strongest among all beings is worthy of wielding the most formidable Zanpakutō!”

Simultaneously, within the Seireitei, Captain-Commander Yamamoto Genryūsai Shigekuni was quietly contemplating a painting that adorned the walls of his chamber.

The painting depicted a scene of raging flames, their intensity and ferocity captivating the eye. Above the inferno, a figure stood prominently, his features clearly visible.

Those familiar with the appearance of Yamamoto Genryūsai Shigekuni during his youth would instantly recognize the figure depicted in the painting as the Captain-Commander himself, before the onset of his characteristic baldness.

While the painting itself refrained from depicting any scenes of bloodshed or gratuitous violence, it nevertheless exuded an aura of intense killing intent, capable of instilling fear and apprehension in the hearts of those lacking in fortitude or courage.

The painting that adorned Yamamoto Genryūsai Shigekuni’s chamber served as a constant reminder of his former self, the ruthless warrior who had once reveled in the act of killing.

By keeping this painting prominently displayed, Yamamoto Genryūsai Shigekuni sought to perpetually remind himself of the necessity of avoiding a relapse into his former, more violent ways.

”Now, another Shinigami has awakened the power of Ryūjin Jakka,” Yamamoto Genryūsai Shigekuni murmured to himself, his gaze fixed upon the painting. ”While I remain unaware of his identity, I am compelled to eliminate him.”

As he contemplated these words, his thoughts drifted back to a comrade from his past, a comrade whom he had been forced to slay with his own hands.

Yamamoto Genryūsai Shigekuni’s eyes, which had been narrowed in contemplation, suddenly snapped open, revealing a fleeting glimpse of demonic killing intent.

The target of this malevolent intent was, of course, the other wielder of Ryūjin Jakka—the yet-to-be-identified Yusuke Uchiha.
