”Kūkaku Shiba’s power is clearly beyond what a typical Shinigami can handle; even Captain-level fighters can only manage to escape. It’s hard to fathom the immense power Aizen possessed to have been able to defeat Kūkaku Shiba,” Yusuke Uchiha reflected.

By this point, Yusuke Uchiha had arrived in the Dangai, and having mastered all the techniques and combat strategies acquired during his infiltration of the Seireitei, he formally commenced his rigorous training regimen within this unique realm.

His training methodology was remarkably straightforward: to engage in continuous combat with Kūkaku Shiba, thereby expending and subsequently replenishing his spiritual energy (Reishi), and refining his spiritual pressure (Reiatsu) through repeated confrontations.

Given the exceptionally abundant supply of Reishi within the Dangai, Yusuke Uchiha was able to unleash his most potent techniques without interruption, with the spiritual energy expended in each assault being almost instantaneously replenished within a matter of seconds.

However, engaging in combat with Kūkaku Shiba within the Dangai presented two significant challenges that demanded unwavering vigilance.

Firstly, it was imperative to avoid being swallowed by Kūkaku Shiba. The interior of Kūkaku Shiba’s being is characterized by a chaotic maelstrom of spacetime currents. Should one be engulfed within this turbulent vortex, the outcome would be utterly unpredictable.

One might be torn asunder by the relentless spacetime currents, or one might simply cease to exist within the boundless expanse of time. Alternatively, one might even find oneself transported to a different point in time, either the past or the future, or even to an entirely separate spacetime.

Secondly, it was equally crucial to avoid becoming entangled by Kōryū, a unique substance imbued with the very laws governing the Dangai, which flows along the walls of this intermediary realm. In appearance, Kōryū resembles flowing cement.

Any living entity that becomes ensnared by Kōryū will be irrevocably detained within the Dangai, becoming an integral component of its very structure and forever remaining within its confines.

However, due to the remarkable spatial manipulation abilities granted by his Kamui technique, these two potentially lethal hazards posed little threat to Yusuke Uchiha, provided that he exercised due diligence and ensured a timely escape from any perilous situations.

In a recent encounter, Yusuke Uchiha, having just arrived in the Dangai, had engaged in several rounds of combat with Kūkaku Shiba. However, the confrontation did not extend for an extended duration, as Yusuke Uchiha soon found himself overwhelmed and resorted to activating his Kamui technique to assume a Hollowfied state.

Given that Kūkaku Shiba lacks both eyes and a significant level of intelligence, relying entirely upon Reiatsu to identify its adversaries, once Yusuke Uchiha had assumed his Hollowfied form, Kūkaku Shiba concluded that the foreign entity within the Dangai had been successfully eliminated and promptly sought to depart.

Following a brief period of recuperation, Yusuke Uchiha prepared to resume his training. Deactivating his Kamui-induced Hollowfication, he once again released his Reiatsu, thereby attracting the attention of Kūkaku Shiba.

”Ryūjin Jakka, Dragon Flame Susanoo!”

A colossal figure, resembling a samurai warrior, materialized before him, its form enveloped in a maelstrom of raging flames. Wielding a formidable long sword, this majestic being stood poised to confront Kūkaku Shiba.

In comparison to previous manifestations, this iteration of the Dragon Flame Susanoo was noticeably smaller in stature. However, its Reiatsu, physical strength, defensive capabilities, and the intensity of the flames that emanated from its form were all significantly enhanced.

Kūkaku Shiba emitted a sound akin to the piercing whistle of a locomotive, charging towards the Dragon Flame Susanoo with unrestrained fury.

With a single, devastating impact, a significant portion of the Dragon Flame Susanoo’s external armor was shattered, and its colossal form was propelled through the air with considerable force.

Had the Dragon Flame Susanoo not been present to serve as a bulwark against Kūkaku Shiba’s onslaught, Yusuke Uchiha’s current power would have been wholly inadequate to engage in combat with this formidable adversary, and he would have lacked the opportunity to hone his Reiatsu through the execution of his diverse techniques.

Seizing the fleeting opportunity presented by the Dragon Flame Susanoo’s displacement and Kūkaku Shiba’s approach to deliver a follow-up attack, Yusuke Uchiha swiftly commenced the incantation of a Kidō spell. ℯ

”Bakudō #63, Sajō Sabaku!”

Upon the completion of the incantation, several colossal chains, meticulously woven from Reiatsu, extended from the void, rapidly encircling Kūkaku Shiba’s massive form in an attempt to restrain its movement.

However, Kūkaku Shiba merely shuddered its immense form, causing the chains to disintegrate, effectively impeding its progress for a mere two breaths.

For Yusuke Uchiha, the paramount objective was to prolong the engagement, thereby affording himself the opportunity to execute as many techniques as possible.

Utilizing the brief respite afforded by the temporary restraint of Kūkaku Shiba, Yusuke Uchiha simultaneously maneuvered the Susanoo to a position of greater safety while concurrently initiating the incantation of another Kidō spell.

”Hadō #88: Hiryū Gekizoku Shinten Raihō!”

With a swift and decisive movement, Yusuke Uchiha extended his right hand, unleashing a colossal beam of white light, its trajectory punctuated by streaks of vibrant blue lightning, hurtling towards Kūkaku Shiba.

At that precise moment, the golden energy core situated at the apex of Kūkaku Shiba’s head emitted a blinding flash of light, releasing a beam of yellow energy of staggering Reiatsu in Yusuke Uchiha’s direction.

Upon witnessing Kūkaku Shiba unleash its most potent attack, Yusuke Uchiha, without hesitation, activated his Kamui technique, rendering his physical form intangible.

The yellow beam of energy, emanating from Kūkaku Shiba, effortlessly pierced through the Hiryū Gekizoku Shinten Raihō, simultaneously reducing the Dragon Flame Susanoo, which had remained in its tangible form, to ashes.

Upon detecting the dissipation of the enemy’s Reiatsu, Kūkaku Shiba once again prepared to depart. However, Yusuke Uchiha, having fully recovered within the confines of his Kamui dimension, seized the opportune moment to launch another assault upon Kūkaku Shiba.

This cycle of combat and recuperation continued relentlessly, resulting in a gradual but steady enhancement of Yusuke Uchiha’s Reiatsu within the Dangai. The duration of his engagements with Kūkaku Shiba progressively increased as his abilities sharpened.

After a period of approximately twenty years dedicated to this rigorous training regimen, Yusuke Uchiha finally reached a plateau in his cultivation of Reiatsu.

While Yusuke Uchiha remained unable to decisively defeat or vanquish Kūkaku Shiba, he had attained a level of proficiency that enabled him to engage in combat with this formidable adversary with remarkable ease and composure, maintaining an unblemished record of undefeated encounters. Furthermore, he had achieved a complete mastery of all Kidō spells and various other combat techniques.

However, at this juncture, a particular aspect of the Bleach universe held the greatest fascination for Yusuke Uchiha: the awe-inspiring potential of Ichigo Kurosaki.

Yusuke Uchiha had initially anticipated that his training within the Dangai would not extend beyond a period of one or two years.

This estimation was predicated upon the duration of Ichigo Kurosaki’s training within the Dangai, which, as documented in the original storyline, spanned a mere three months.

Given that Kūkaku Shiba’s reappearance within the Dangai occurs at seven-day intervals, and considering that Kūkaku Shiba had been swiftly vanquished by Aizen, who had absorbed the Hogyoku, at the precise moment that Ichigo Kurosaki had entered the Dangai, it can be reasonably inferred that Ichigo Kurosaki, after only seven days of training, had already attained sufficient power to contend with Kūkaku Shiba.

Subsequently, Ichigo Kurosaki continued to hone his abilities within the Dangai, culminating in the mastery of the ”Final Getsuga Tenshō.” After three months of intensive training, he possessed the power to confront Aizen, who had previously demonstrated the capacity to swiftly vanquish Kūkaku Shiba.

In comparison to Ichigo Kurosaki, Yusuke Uchiha’s rate of progress and ultimate attainment of power fell significantly short, serving as a stark testament to the extraordinary potential possessed by Ichigo Kurosaki.

”Aizen single-handedly shaped Ichigo Kurosaki’s power, seeking to leverage Ichigo Kurosaki’s strength as a testament to his own dominance, yet he was unwittingly playing a dangerous game, setting himself up for a catastrophic downfall,” Yusuke Uchiha reflected. ”However, I remain uncertain as to whether my current power surpasses that of Aizen before he had absorbed the Hogyoku.”

In Yusuke Uchiha’s assessment of combat prowess, Aizen, prior to his absorption of the Hogyoku, was considered to be on par with Captain-Commander Yamamoto Genryūsai Shigekuni.

The Reiatsu of both individuals far surpassed that of any other captain, granting them the ability to vanquish opponents wielding Bankai with mere standard attacks.

Nevertheless, in a direct confrontation, Yamamoto Genryūsai Shigekuni would undoubtedly emerge victorious.

Despite operating at a comparable level of power, Yamamoto Genryūsai Shigekuni possessed a distinct advantage: Ryūjin Jakka, the most potent fire-type Zanpakutō, which provided him with an unparalleled edge in combat, an advantage that the illusion-type Zanpakutō, Kyōka Suigetsu, wielded by Aizen, could not hope to match.

Consequently, unless Aizen were to transcend his limitations, he would remain perpetually incapable of defeating Yamamoto Genryūsai Shigekuni through his own strength alone.

Yusuke Uchiha was utterly confident in his attainment of a level of power comparable to that of Aizen and Yamamoto Genryūsai Shigekuni. However, the outcome of a direct confrontation between these formidable warriors could only be definitively ascertained through actual combat.

”The time has come to conquer Hueco Mundo,” Yusuke Uchiha declared resolutely.

Casting a final glance at Kūkaku Shiba, his steadfast companion throughout his twenty years of training, Yusuke Uchiha activated his Kamui technique, teleporting himself back to the desolate expanse of Hueco Mundo.
