Despite Baraggan Louisenbairn’s cowardly nature, his officers were fiercely loyal, seemingly willing to sacrifice themselves for him.

This is a unique aspect of Hueco Mundo, contrasting sharply with human or Shinigami behavior.

Hollows are formed from negative emotions, inherently flawed, yet many exhibit loyalty surpassing that of humans or Shinigami.

Hueco Mundo is a survival-of-the-fittest environment; Hollows evolve by devouring each other. To avoid becoming prey, most Hollows form groups.

Strong Hollows lead; weaker ones serve.

Subordinates show absolute loyalty; betrayal is rare. This is evident in the Arrancar officers’ behavior in the original story.

This Hollow characteristic strengthened Yusuke Uchiha’s resolve to use Hueco Mundo to build his power base.

A unified Hueco Mundo would be a reliable, controllable force under his command.

Observing the dejected Charlotte Chuhlhourne, Yusuke Uchiha inquired, ”You met Harribel?”

Charlotte Chuhlhourne nodded. ”Yes, I attempted to persuade her to join Las Noches under Baraggan Louisenbairn’s orders, but she refused.”

Harribel, a Vasto Lorde, was a crucial acquisition for Yusuke Uchiha.

Her unwavering adherence to the knightly ideal of self-sacrifice made her, in his estimation, the perfect subordinate.

Having obtained Harribel’s location from Charlotte Chuhlhourne, Yusuke Uchiha planned to subdue her personally after establishing order within Las Noches.

Turning to Baraggan Louisenbairn, Yusuke Uchiha began outlining his subsequent directives.

The most pressing tasks were to secure a suitable laboratory for Mayuri Kurotsuchi and to establish a new set of governing principles for Las Noches.

Following Baraggan Louisenbairn’s respectful acknowledgment of these directives, a jet-black crow materialized from Yusuke Uchiha’s body, leaving its mark upon Baraggan Louisenbairn’s bony arm.

”This is my ’crow mark’,” Yusuke Uchiha explained, ”a symbol bestowed only upon the highest-ranking officers of Las Noches. Naturally, those who bear this mark are effectively branded, rendering any attempt at escape utterly futile.”

After dismissing Baraggan Louisenbairn and his entourage from the throne room, Yusuke Uchiha turned his attention to Mayuri Kurotsuchi, assigning him his next task.

”Mayuri Kurotsuchi, effective immediately, you are appointed director of Las Noches’ Research and Development Institute!”

Upon hearing this announcement, Mayuri Kurotsuchi’s expression was one of curious bewilderment. ”Does such an institution even exist within Las Noches?” he questioned.

Yusuke Uchiha responded with a subtle smile. ”Indeed, its establishment shall fall under your purview as its inaugural director! Recall that the Research and Development Institute within the Seireitei was founded by Kisuke Urahara. Do you not aspire to surpass his accomplishments?”

At Yusuke Uchiha’s words, an unprecedented gleam ignited within Mayuri Kurotsuchi’s eyes.

Kisuke Urahara had always served as the ultimate benchmark for Mayuri Kurotsuchi’s ambitions.

As a self-proclaimed scientist operating within the clandestine circles of Soul Society, Mayuri Kurotsuchi had consistently heard tales of Kisuke Urahara’s exceptional prowess, and he had witnessed firsthand the remarkable inventions that had emerged from Kisuke Urahara’s ingenuity. These encounters had only intensified his burning desire to ultimately surpass his rival.

Observing the transformation in Mayuri Kurotsuchi’s demeanor, Yusuke Uchiha recognized that his subtle provocation had proven successful.

”You may request any resources you require from Baraggan Louisenbairn,” Yusuke Uchiha continued. ”Should he prove incapable of fulfilling your demands, you may approach me directly.”

Mayuri Kurotsuchi nodded in agreement, before a sudden frown creased his brow. ”While the acquisition of materials can be readily accomplished within Hueco Mundo,” he remarked, ”the establishment of a fully functional Research and Development Institute is not a task that can be undertaken by a single individual.

I shall require the support of capable subordinates. Although a considerable number of Hollows have attained a level of intelligence comparable to that of humans, they are demonstrably ill-suited for the intricacies of scientific research.”

Yusuke Uchiha responded with a confident smile. ”Rest assured, I have already formulated a comprehensive plan to address this matter. Consider the countless orphaned souls residing within the desolate confines of Rukongai, forsaken and neglected. Las Noches shall embrace the principles of humanism and extend its compassionate care to these unfortunate individuals.”

Yusuke Uchiha’s initial intention to establish a contingent of Shinigami within Hueco Mundo had motivated his audacious theft of the asauchi (unawakened Zanpakutō) from the Central 46 within the Seireitei.

As for the researchers required for his envisioned Research and Development Institute, he intended to recruit Shinigami for this crucial role.

It is important to note that the designation of ”Shinigami” does not necessitate the possession of a Zanpakutō; rather, it refers to any soul capable of harnessing and manipulating spiritual pressure (Reiatsu) in combat.

Given the limited number of Zanpakutō at his disposal, Yusuke Uchiha intended to bestow these sacred artifacts only upon those Shinigami within Las Noches whose Reiatsu met his exacting standards.

Similarly, the Shinigami recruited to serve as researchers within the Research and Development Institute would not typically be granted a Zanpakutō unless their Reiatsu proved exceptionally potent.

Upon comprehending Yusuke Uchiha’s comprehensive strategy, Mayuri Kurotsuchi expressed his complete satisfaction.

Having witnessed firsthand Yusuke Uchiha’s formidable power and the unparalleled capabilities of his Kamui technique, Mayuri Kurotsuchi harbored no doubt that the abduction of souls from Rukongai would be an effortless undertaking for Yusuke Uchiha, and that the Seireitei would be utterly powerless to prevent or impede such actions.

After concluding their discussion regarding the formation of the Research and Development Institute, Yusuke Uchiha addressed Mayuri Kurotsuchi with a new request.

”Furthermore,” he instructed, ”I require you to fabricate a pair of spectacles for me with the utmost expediency. The durability of these spectacles must be exceptional.

Their primary function shall be to effectively conceal the unique characteristics of my eyes, while simultaneously ensuring that they do not impede the release of Reiatsu from my pupils.”

Upon hearing Yusuke Uchiha’s specifications, Mayuri Kurotsuchi readily agreed, confident in his ability to fulfill this relatively straightforward task.

”The spectacles shall be completed within three days,” Mayuri Kurotsuchi assured him, ”and I shall endeavor to create a design that will undoubtedly meet with your approval.”

At these words, a sense of apprehension washed over Yusuke Uchiha, prompting him to swiftly transmit the precise design he envisioned for the spectacles to Mayuri Kurotsuchi by means of his genjutsu.

Yusuke Uchiha harbored reservations regarding Mayuri Kurotsuchi’s idiosyncratic aesthetic sensibilities.

Following Mayuri Kurotsuchi’s insightful observation, Yusuke Uchiha turned his attention to the matter of establishing a standardized uniform for the personnel of Las Noches.

The attire of the Arrancar within Las Noches, as depicted in the original storyline, had been quite striking, and Yusuke Uchiha intended to adopt a similar aesthetic for his own organization.

To facilitate the differentiation between high-ranking officers and subordinate personnel, Yusuke Uchiha planned to incorporate distinctive markings into the design of the uniforms, enhancing their visual distinctiveness.

Shortly after Yusuke Uchiha assumed control of Las Noches, Baraggan Louisenbairn assumed the role of a seasoned steward, continuing to oversee the day-to-day operations of Las Noches.

At this juncture, all personnel within Las Noches had adopted the newly standardized uniforms, including Yusuke Uchiha, Mayuri Kurotsuchi, and Baraggan Louisenbairn.

However, the uniforms worn by these three high-ranking individuals were distinguished by a prominent black crow emblem emblazoned upon their chests, signifying their elevated status within the hierarchy of Las Noches.

Yusuke Uchiha, as the supreme ruler of Las Noches, further distinguished himself by donning a haori, a type of over-robe, characterized by its white base and black trim.

Within the confines of the throne room, Yusuke Uchiha, seated upon his throne, surveyed Baraggan Louisenbairn and Mayuri Kurotsuchi, who had shed their previous attire—the purple robe and the white radish-like armor, respectively—and nodded in quiet satisfaction.

Their current appearance was far more aesthetically pleasing, he reflected.

Under Yusuke Uchiha’s explicit instructions, access to the throne room was restricted to those individuals bearing the ”crow mark,” thereby limiting entry to the highest-ranking officers within Las Noches.

Although at present, only Mayuri Kurotsuchi and Baraggan Louisenbairn held such elevated positions, Yusuke Uchiha expressed unwavering confidence that, in the not-too-distant future, this chamber would be filled with a force so formidable as to instill fear and trepidation throughout the entirety of Soul Society.
