The Empress Wants a Divorce Every Day

Rong Ling did not refuse and spoke calmly and steadily, “The Royal Hunting Ground encompasses a dozen mountain peaks, with designated personnel guarding it regularly. The mountains are home to a variety of wild animals, specifically for the Imperial Family’s hunting. The outer perimeter contains smaller animals, while larger beasts only appear in the inner area. When hunting tomorrow, be sure not to enter the inner perimeter; it’s very dangerous.”

After a brief pause, Rong Ling continued, “However, I will assign a guard to accompany you, so don’t worry.”

As soon as Rong Ling finished speaking, Feng Qing’s expression changed immediately. She was planning to leave, but if someone were to follow her, how could she leave?

On one side, Rong Ling noticed her discomfort and raised an eyebrow as he softly asked, “What’s wrong?”

Feng Qing startled slightly, then quickly looked at Rong Ling with concern, “Prince, you should be careful too. I’m worried that there might be someone in the hunting ground with ill intentions towards you.”

Feng Qing was indeed a bit worried about Rong Ling. After all, they had spent some time together.

Undoubtedly, there would be a massacre targeting Rong Ling in the Royal Hunting Ground tomorrow.

The Emperor was determined to get rid of Rong Ling.

Feng Qing sighed heavily. She had better look out for herself. Rong Ling now knew that the Little Emperor wanted to kill him, and with his abilities, it was unlikely he would fall into the trap. So, she should think about how to talk to Commander Han and how to avoid the guards assigned to her by the Prince.

Si Qi and Si Hua, the two maidservants, were easy to deal with, but the guard following her was not easy to handle.

Feng Qing became troubled, while Rong Ling did not notice her distress. He felt slightly warmed by her previous caring words and was in an exceptionally good mood.

“Don’t worry about me. I have made arrangements, and you will be fine too, so don’t worry.”

Feng Qing responded softly and said no more, as the carriage proceeded grandly towards the Royal Hunting Ground.

The hunting ground wasn’t far from the Capital City, only about two hundred miles away. By nearly noon, the carriages reached the outer perimeter of the hunting ground.

Many tents had already been set up around the outer perimeter of the hunting ground. The Emperor and the Imperial family were settled in the finest tents, while the other officials were grouped in the tents outside.

As Prince Yong and Princess Yong of Dayan, Rong Ling and Feng Qing’s tent was naturally luxurious.

However, as the Prince and Princess Consort, the two of them had to share a tent for these three days.

After learning about this, Feng Qing felt uneasy.

Earlier in Yijing Courtyard, she shared a bed with Rong Ling, pushing him to the edge of the bed, and almost got beaten with thirty lashes. Now, she had to share a tent with Rong Ling again. Would she push him to the edge of the tent?

Feng Qing was very worried, and remained silent with a tense expression for quite some time.

Inside the tent, Si Qi and Si Hua were putting things back in order. Once everything was neatly arranged, they turned to see their Princess Consort with a tense and unhappy expression.

“Princess Consort, what’s wrong?”

Feng Qing exhaled deeply, “Nothing, the Prince has been summoned by the Emperor. I will rest for a while.”

Si Qi and Si Hua immediately assisted Feng Qing with washing up and helped her lie down to rest. Once Feng Qing was resting, they headed out.

“We’ll go check on the lunch preparations. If it’s ready, we’ll bring some back.”

“Alright,”

The two maidservants walked out. With guards stationed outside the tent, Si Qi and Si Hua chatted and laughed as they went to fetch the meal.

Inside the tent, Feng Qing closed her eyes, deep in thought, pondering how she could avoid the guards of the Prince’s Mansion and meet with Commander Han of the Five-finger Military Commander.
