The Empress Wants a Divorce Every Day

Chapter 158: Chapter 158: Feng Qing, Get Out

Rong Ling was originally planning to use this opportunity to teach Feng Qing a lesson, but before he could finish speaking, he was cut off, his face turning black with anger. The woman before him seemed completely oblivious, raising her hand to help him undress, saying, ”Prince, bend your body a bit. I can’t reach; it’s hard to help you disrobe.”

Rong Ling, with a grim expression, mocked coldly, ”You’re short, is that my fault?”

This time it was Feng Qing’s turn to look displeased. Ha, even this mere patient dared to spar with her.

She extended her hand unceremoniously, grabbing Rong Ling’s clothes and forcefully helped him take off his outer garment.

As she tugged, Rong Ling’s body swayed, nearly toppling over. His face darkened, and he gritted his teeth, breathing heavily.

”Feng Qing, you think just because I’m sick, I can’t deal with you.”

Feng Qing immediately recalled the thirty strikes hanging over her head, and her face softened with a gentle smile. ”What is the Prince saying? I have been serving you with all my goodwill, why such anger? Also, it’s not good for a sick person to get angry often; it’s not beneficial for recovery.”

Without waiting for Rong Ling to respond, Feng Qing continued with a gentle look, ”Prince, come on, lift your arms and let’s take off your undershirt.”

Rong Ling didn’t move, his expression cold as he glared at her, as if saying, ’I’m not moving, let’s see how you manage.’

Feng Qing twitched a corner of her mouth. This looked just like a small child throwing a tantrum.

But she dared not express this, knowing that the Prince was angry now, and if she provoked him further, he might call for someone to drag her out for thirty strikes.

With this in mind, Feng Qing’s smile became even brighter, with a hint of coaxing.

”Prince, look, the medicinal bath is getting cold. A cold bath won’t have a good effect, and if the Prince catches a chill, it will only weaken you more. Please quickly disrobe and take a soak.”

Though enraged, Rong Ling knew his health was important. Finally, he shot a frosty glance at Feng Qing and raised his hand.

Not daring to provoke him further, Feng Qing tiptoed up and delicately helped Rong Ling remove his undershirt.

Once the shirt was off, Rong Ling’s strong, perfect upper body was revealed. His skin was very white, but not the bloodless kind of white; it was ivory, with a hint of soft pink, making it particularly pleasing to the eye. His chest had well-defined abs, but instead of looking muscular and bulky, it appeared robust and powerful.

In short, his bare upper body was an extremely pleasing sight. Feng Qing couldn’t help but compare him to past patients, concluding that this man was truly exceptional among men.

But while Feng Qing was engrossed in admiring Rong Ling’s bare upper body, she did not notice above her that his expression was growing darker and his eyes blazing with fire.

Rong Ling had expected to see a bashful woman who wouldn’t dare look, but who knew this woman was gazing at him like a ravenous wolf eyeing a piece of meat?

Was she really a woman? Rong Ling’s face finally darkened, and through gritted teeth, he spat coldly, ”Feng Qing, are you even a woman?”

Feng Qing was startled, finally snapping out of it. Looking up at Rong Ling, she saw that his face was as black as a pot’s bottom.

With a dry laugh, Feng Qing responded, ”Prince, you have quite the figure.”

This time, Rong Ling was so furious he nearly spat blood; he no longer wanted to see this woman. He raised his hand, his fingers trembling with anger.

”Get out.”

Seeing Rong Ling at the height of his fury, Feng Qing dared not provoke him further. She obediently replied, ”Okay, Prince, I’ll go call Nan Feng guard in.”

She decisively retreated, but after a few steps, something came to mind, and she turned back to Rong Ling, saying, ”Prince, could it be that you’re shy?”

Rong Ling was so enraged by this sentence that his vision went dark. Unable to contain his anger, he coldly shouted, ”Get out!”

After speaking, with fiery rage, he turned and headed towards the bathtub, but moved too quickly and stumbled straight into it.

Already weak, further enraged by Feng Qing, Rong Ling couldn’t withstand the impact, immediately toppling to the ground.

Feng Qing, walking towards the door, heard the loud thud behind her. Glancing back, she saw Rong Ling collapsed on the ground.

Her face tightened. Could it be that she had infuriated him to death? If he was dead, her guilt would be enormous.

Feng Qing rushed back to Rong Ling’s side to check if he was merely fallen and not genuinely enraged to death, relieved upon discovering he wasn’t.

Never before had Rong Ling felt such humiliation, so he stayed silent, his presence emitting a sharp chill like a poised treasure sword, his dark eyes coldly fixated on Feng Qing.

Feng Qing immediately knew he was truly mad at her, so she took extra care.

”Prince, be careful, let me help you in,” she said, her voice cautious.

Rong Ling bared his teeth, flashing a sinister white grin. Feng Qing shivered, speaking even more carefully, ”Prince, the water really is getting cold; perhaps you should soak in it soon.”

As soon as Feng Qing finished, she reached out to help Rong Ling in. His eyes narrowed dangerously; never had he been so embarrassed before, and yet Feng Qing had witnessed it.

The more Rong Ling brooded over his anger, his glare became more intense towards Feng Qing. Seeing this, she dared not provoke him further and tried to soothe him with gentle words.

”Prince, let’s soak quickly, or the medicinal effect will be lost.”

Despite his seething anger, Rong Ling understood the importance of his health and entered the bathtub with Feng Qing’s assistance.

Though unwell and noticeably thinner, Rong Ling remained a man and thus quite heavy. As Feng Qing supported him, a slight misstep made her lose her grip, causing Rong Ling to slide straight into the tub.

He plunged into the bathwater, gulping down two big mouthfuls unintentionally.

Feng Qing was utterly stunned, unable to react for a long while until Rong Ling slowly propped himself up from within the tub.

At that moment, Rong Ling was seething with rage and wanted nothing more than to devour someone. His fierce gaze locked onto Feng Qing, gritting his teeth as he yelled, ”Feng Qing, you did that on purpose.”

Feng Qing came back to her senses; she wasn’t foolish enough to admit to something like that, especially since she genuinely hadn’t done it intentionally.

Thinking, Feng Qing looked at Rong Ling with grievance and said, ”Prince, I didn’t, I swear, I really didn’t mean to toss you into the tub to drink bathwater.”

Before she spoke, Rong Ling’s face was already black as coal, and with a gruff voice, he pointed at her and barked, ”Get out, Nan Feng, get in here.”

Knowing that he was truly furious, Feng Qing hurriedly ran towards the door, saying, ”Prince, don’t call, I’m leaving, right away.”

With that, she turned and ran out. Outside, Nan Feng stepped in, and upon encountering Feng Qing, instinctively addressed her, ”Princess Consort.”

Clearly, the Princess Consort was attending inside; why was the Prince calling for him?
