The Empress Wants a Divorce Every Day

Chapter 193: Chapter 193: Personally Teaching the Princess Consort

Rong Ling also spoke subconsciously, but Feng Qing’s heart tightened. She immediately put on a smile and looked at Rong Ling, saying, ”Prince, what are you saying? I’m not good-looking, so I want to dress more richly to prevent those women from looking down on me. How come in the Prince’s words, I become the troublemaker.”

After speaking, she lowered her head with grievance, seemingly a bit unhappy, and somewhat sad.

Her hands in front kept twisting and turning, clearly showing that she was upset.

Rong Ling couldn’t help but laugh at her childish demeanor. Well, perhaps she doesn’t understand. The Princess Consort he chose, he will teach her slowly.

Thinking about it, Rong Ling extended his long hand to hold Feng Qing’s hand.

The two hands clasped together seemed quite matching.

The big hand wrapped around the small one, exceptionally fitting.

But Feng Qing found these two hands rather glaring and instinctively wanted to struggle, but ultimately endured, solidifying her determination to leave.

She could feel that Rong Ling genuinely saw her as his Princess Consort, and he was gradually guiding her, making her accustomed to his close actions, but she didn’t need such habits.

Feng Qing felt speechless but ultimately didn’t say anything.

Inside the carriage, Rong Ling held Feng Qing’s hand and said gently, ”It’s not about having many things, but treasures that are fine. As the main wife of Prince Yong Mansion, your status is there. No matter what you wear or use, no one dares to belittle you, as long as you maintain the right attitude, no one dares to look down on you.”

”As for the things you wear, as long as it’s suitable, it’s good. The Prince thinks you are more suited to wearing jade and such. Later, the Prince will have Nan Feng find some suitable jewelry from the storehouse for you. These red golds can be melted down into peanut gold beans to reward the servants.”

Feng Qing twitched her mouth. She specifically chose these golds because they can be melted, unlike jade and such, which would inevitably be discovered if taken out.

However, Feng Qing didn’t want Rong Ling to know this, she just said with a face full of distress, ”Oh, I’ll be more mindful next time then.”

Rong Ling nodded, then raised his eyebrows disapprovingly and said, ”What are those two big maidservants of yours doing? Can’t even handle such matters. Replace them later.”

Feng Qing’s face turned black; these hairpins and bracelets were all put on her head by herself. Si Qi and Si Hua tried to persuade her for half a day to no avail.

She absolutely couldn’t let those two girls take the fall. Otherwise, if she leaves, those two girls would be in trouble.

As Feng Qing thought, she reached out and tugged at Rong Ling’s sleeve, saying, ”Prince, this isn’t Si Qi and Si Hua’s fault, it’s all my mistake. I grew up in the backyard of Marquis Jing’an Mansion and didn’t know these things, so I always thought gold was the good stuff, which is why I wore it.”

Rong Ling listened and found it strange, raising his eyebrows and saying, ”Why didn’t I see you wearing them before?”

Feng Qing said frustratedly, ”I wasn’t not wearing them before, I just couldn’t bear to wear them. I thought they were all money.”

Rong Ling thought about her previous experiences and actually believed it.

”From now on, you are the Princess Consort of Prince Yong Mansion, you won’t be short of money.”

”Hmm, I know,” Today Feng Qing was extraordinarily obedient, which made Rong Ling somewhat unaccustomed, glancing at her several times.

Feng Qing’s attitude became increasingly deferential; she was about to leave soon and must not provoke this man. If she angered him and wasn’t allowed to attend the autumn hunting event, she wouldn’t be able to escape.

While Feng Qing thought about this, she gently lifted the curtain to glance outside, then turned her gaze to Rong Ling and said, ”Prince, tell me about the situation at the Royal Hunting Ground.”
