The Empress Wants a Divorce Every Day

Chapter 191: Chapter 191: Better for Her to Fake Her Death

Rong Ling’s lips curved into a mocking smile. The Little Emperor wouldn’t rest until he was dead; clearly, he had become a nuisance in his eyes.

Too bad for him, wanting him dead now was nothing but a pipe dream.

Rong Ling thought to himself while saying to the little eunuch, ”Thank the Emperor for me.”

”Yes, Prince.”

The little eunuch departed with others, while Rong Ling slowly straightened up and looked at Feng Qing on the side, smiling, ”Princess Consort, can you ride a horse?”

Feng Qing raised an eyebrow. She thought he would be angry, but he wasn’t. Instead, he was in the mood to ask her if she could ride.

Speaking of riding, Feng Qing could do it, but her predecessor in this era probably couldn’t.

So Feng Qing shook her head and said, ”I can’t ride.”

After Feng Qing spoke, Rong Ling chuckled and said, ”I’ll have someone make you two sets of riding outfits; three days from now, I’ll teach you how to ride.”

Feng Qing looked at him in surprise and said, ”You actually want to participate in the hunting event? Aren’t you afraid of the Little Emperor?”

As Feng Qing said this, she suddenly stopped, because she thought of a way to leave, taking advantage of the hunting event to escape.

But how to leave without Rong Ling discovering it? Perhaps by faking her death? The thought made Feng Qing’s heart race.

However, the Rong Ling in front of her was clearly not noticing her expression. He heard what Feng Qing said earlier and responded with a cold laugh.

”In the past, I was caught off guard by him, but now he thinks he can still hurt me.”

After speaking, he turned to Feng Qing and said gently, ”I will be fine, and you will be fine too. I will have someone protect you.”

Feng Qing forced a gentle smile and quickly said, ”Then I’ll immediately have someone make two sets of riding outfits.”

After she finished speaking, she happily turned and ran out. Rong Ling, watching her joyful demeanor from behind, had a broader smile on his lips. But thinking about the Hunting Ground, his handsome face suddenly turned icy.

”Nan Feng, come in.”

Rong Ling called Nan Feng in to make arrangements for the Royal Hunting Ground in three days.

Outside Yijing Courtyard, Feng Qing paused her steps and looked back at the courtyard behind her, letting out a long sigh of relief. She had hurried out earlier for fear that Rong Ling would notice her strange demeanor, so she had put on a cheerful face and ran out. Fortunately, his mind was occupied with the hunting affair and he didn’t notice anything off about her.

So next, she needed to think about how to fake her death and escape. Faking her death was the best option.

Because once she’s declared dead, Rong Ling would no longer search for her whereabouts, ensuring her safety.

But how should she fake her death?

Feng Qing thought with a headache, her face unconsciously darkening. Behind her, Si Qi and Si Hua looked at her and said.

”Princess Consort, are you unable to decide on a style for the riding outfit? We can draw some options for you to choose from.”

”We think the Princess Consort should choose a light color for the riding outfit; it would definitely look beautiful.”

Feng Qing snapped back to reality, looked at the two maids and said, ”Let’s go back and carefully design them, considering both style and color. The riding outfit this time must be beautiful, so as not to embarrass the Prince Mansion.”

The two maids, hearing Feng Qing’s words, did not notice her true intentions and happily discussed the outfit matter.

Three days later, the Emperor, along with the courtiers in grand procession, headed to the Royal Hunting Ground over a hundred miles away to participate in the autumn hunting event.

This autumn hunt was only three days long, so the Emperor brought along more than half of the courtiers from the court, as well as two concubines.

The Empress Dowager and the Empress did not come, remaining back in the palace.
